to promote sustainable and best practices in construction activities.
In a joint statement on Friday, the Confederation of Real Estate Developers' Associations of India (CREDAI) said it has entered into a "strategic partnership with Adani Cement to champion sustainable and high-quality construction practices across the country".
CREDAI, which represents over 13,000 private real estate developers across 20 states and 230 city chapters, has also launched the Green India Council and Skilling Council.

"As CREDAI's preferred partner, Adani Cement will provide its industry-leading portfolio of premium and GRIHA-certified products, including green concrete solutions, advanced additives, and technical services," it added.
The announcement was made at CREDAI's Governing Council meeting, held in the presence of Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and CREDAI leadership.

These initiatives reflect CREDAI's commitment to build an environment that drives economic growth, protects the environment, and uplifts communities, he added.
CREDAI said the collaboration with Adani Cement will empower its members to elevate construction quality, safety, and sustainability across projects nationwide.
Adani Cement will also offer on-site technical support and knowledge-sharing programs to upskill engineers and construction professionals within the CREDAI network.
The Green Council will oversee a wide spectrum of green initiatives, including a large-scale reforestation initiative, starting with the restoration of 9,000 acres of land across various blocks of Nashik District, Maharashtra.
This initiative aims to plant over 10 lakh trees using scientific and community-based methods.
The Skilling Council is an initiative aimed at creating a future-ready workforce. PTI

Strict action will be taken against projects lacking proper permissions, says HYDRAA chief
Hyderabad: At the Times Home Hunt Property Expo held recently, Hyderabad Disaster Management and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) commissioner A V Ranganath cautioned that any new projects lacking proper permissions or built on encroached land will face strict action. 'Only layouts approved before HYDRAA's formation on July 19 last year will be exempt. All others must comply with current regulations,' said Ranganath, noting that unchecked construction contributed significantly to urban issues like flooding and traffic congestion. HYDRAA was set up not just as a watchdog, he said, but also as a proactive body aimed at promoting sustainable and responsible urban development. 'HYDRAA is not just about demolitions. We are focused on creating a healthier, more environmentally conscious real estate ecosystem,' Ranganath added. The authority is working closely with other agencies to rejuvenate lakes, address urban flooding, and improve drainage infrastructure. Realty market rebounding after a two-year slump, says Telangana minister at Times Home Hunt Property Expo
Hyderabad: After two years of sluggish growth, Hyderabad's real estate sector is experiencing a strong resurgence, said IT and Industries minister D Sridhar Babu at the Times Home Hunt Property Expo on Saturday. He stated that the market had recorded consistent 13% month-on-month growth in property registrations since February 2025. 'The real estate sector registered a 15.4% growth in 2024–25, while the construction sector alone contributed 11.97%, adding nearly 80,000 crore to the state's economy,' he said. He also noted that in February 2025, 5,900 property registrations were recorded, with 18% of the registered properties priced above Rs 1 crore. Year-on-year transactional growth stood at 6%. State Launches Maha-AASTHA to Digitise Employee Records
Nagpur: The Maharashtra government has launched a time-bound drive to bring every service record of state employees online through its new e-HRMS platform, Maharashtra Advanced Administrative System for Transparent Human Resource Administration (Maha-AASTHA). The initiative aims to enhance transparency and efficiency in maintaining government staff data, from appointment formalities to retirement benefits. According to a Government Resolution (GR) issued on June 20, all departments at Mantralaya must establish dedicated Maha-AASTHA cells by June 27. Each department is required to appoint a nodal officer (SPOC) and submit their contact details to the general administration department (GAD) by June 30. These cells will function as control rooms to oversee the transition from paper-based service books to fully digitized records. Updating service records has been made mandatory. All details—such as appointments, transfers, promotions, training, leave history, pension nominations, and disciplinary actions—must be uploaded to the digital service books by July 15. Officials clarified that this is not just a digitization initiative, but part of chief minister Devendra Fadnavis' 150-day administrative agenda, building on the earlier success of the 100-day plan. While the initial phase targets the Mantralaya departments, the plan is to eventually expand it to every government office across Maharashtra.
