SYDNEY, NSW (June 10, 2025) Pax8, a leading cloud commerce marketplace, today announced at their annual Beyond conference the development of the first-ever Managed Intelligence Toolkit available in Q2 2026 that will enable managed service providers (MSPs) to deliver transformative AI solutions at scale to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). This will accelerate the shift of MSPs into the Managed Intelligence era.
Pax8 is building a Managed Intelligence Toolkit, which is a purpose-built unified environment for MSPs to orchestrate, scale and manage agentic automation across their SMB customers. By integrating Model Context Protocol (MCP) into Pax8's Marketplace commerce APIs and catalog infrastructure, Microsoft Copilots and agents will interact with the Marketplace directly.
In this effort, Pax8 will include the use and delivery of Microsoft Copilot Studio, Microsoft Azure AI Foundry, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and Microsoft Entra Agent ID, with Pax8's Marketplace, orchestration infrastructure, and partner ecosystem. Together, these technologies will enable agents to search, procure, and orchestrate services autonomously and in real time, allowing MSPs to become even better strategic advisors to their clients. As a result, MSPs will evolve into Managed Intelligence Providers (MIPs), delivering more than just infrastructure but agentic transformation and business outcomes to their SMB clients.

Availability
The first wave of Copilot Studio, MCP, and Entra Agent ID integrations with Pax8 will begin rolling out in the summer of 2025, with full commercial availability expected by fall 2025. The Managed Intelligence Toolkit will be released in phased previews starting in Q2 2026.

Netskope expands Microsoft partnership to boost AI data security
Netskope has announced an expansion of its collaboration with Microsoft to enhance data security for enterprise users across cloud and AI environments. The collaboration between Netskope and Microsoft now includes integration of Netskope's unified data security platform, Netskope One, with Microsoft Purview. This move aims to facilitate consistent security policies, improve response times, and streamline operations across cloud, AI, network, and endpoint environments for enterprise clients. Integrated security capabilities Through integration with Microsoft Purview, Netskope's data security platform enables enterprise customers to extend their Microsoft investments beyond traditional boundaries. The newly expanded solution supports the discovery and classification of sensitive data, including data generated by AI applications, content uploaded to unapproved cloud storage services, social media content, and form submissions. As part of these enhancements, organisations can configure Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies once and enforce them across endpoints, SaaS, Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), and network traffic, strengthened through Netskope One's advanced security controls. This unified approach is designed to enforce consistent security and compliance with visibility and policy enforcement across all data, whether stationary or in transit. Using both Netskope and Microsoft Purview, enterprises are able to detect, classify, and govern data in real time, strengthening their security posture in increasingly complex digital environments. Broader Microsoft ecosystem integration The Purview integration is one of several points of collaboration between Netskope and Microsoft. The two companies also work together through existing integrations with Microsoft Sentinel, Security Copilot, and Entra SSE, which enable clients to derive further value from the Microsoft Security Suite. In November 2024, Microsoft selected Netskope as its initial partner in building an open Security Service Edge ecosystem by integrating Netskope One SSE directly into Microsoft Entra Suite. This provides Microsoft customers using Entra Suite with a native SSE experience, leveraging their investments in both Microsoft and Netskope's advanced data protection capabilities. Netskope's partner status with Microsoft was further recognised in April 2025 when it was named Cybersecurity Independent Software Vendor of the Year at the Microsoft Security Excellence Awards. Industry recognition Netskope has received industry recognition for strengths in unified data security and Security Service Edge (SSE), including ranking as a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for SSE every year the report has been published. Cloudinary unveils MCP Server for easier AI-powered image tasks
Cloudinary has introduced its Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server, aiming to simplify the creation and management of images and video for online channels for users in both coding and non-coding roles. The MCP Server is now available to all Cloudinary users, including those utilising the free plan. Through its integration with large language models (LLMs) such as Claude and Cursor, and compatibility with AI-platform Base44, the MCP Server enables these systems to interact with Cloudinary's image and video APIs using natural language, removing the requirement for manual coding. For developers and non-technical users Cloudinary's MCP Server targets three main user groups: developers working on complex visual media workflows for multi-channel or multi-country campaigns, non-technical app builders who wish to automate tasks such as image resizing and tagging, and general users who want to manage images and video assets without writing code. In addition to the MCP Server, Cloudinary has released AI-ready documentation that provides LLMs with comprehensive information on the platform's APIs. This resource allows both developers and non-technical builders to access and leverage Cloudinary's capabilities quickly and with greater confidence, whether they are orchestrating advanced workflows or preparing assets for various online channels. Cloudinary's integration with Base44 aims to support builders who want to incorporate Cloudinary's media transformation, optimisation, and delivery tools into their agent-driven workflows. This integration is intended to facilitate more streamlined development of visual-rich, scalable applications within agent-based environments. Toolset and workflow automation By utilising the combination of the new MCP Server and AI-ready documentation, users can gain access to a broad set of Cloudinary's features. This includes routine yet essential tasks such as bulk tagging, batch cropping, resizing, and overlaying images and video. Cloudinary states that these automated capabilities are designed to increase accuracy in media transformations while reducing the risk of model errors, often referred to as 'hallucinations' in AI workflows. Through natural language interactions with LLMs, users can now connect with Cloudinary's APIs to complete such tasks without requiring additional integrations or coding expertise. According to the company, this can assist both technical teams looking to improve efficiency and cross-team collaboration, as well as newcomers to visual asset management aiming to build content-driven applications for digital channels. Riverlane appoints key leaders for global quantum software
Riverlane has announced the appointments of Abe Asfaw as Head of QEC Enablement and Guen Prawiroatmodjo as Senior Engineering Manager for Open-source Software, drawing on experience from several major technology companies. The company stated that the field of quantum computing is moving rapidly, requiring not only hardware improvements but also extensive software development and a skilled developer community to realise practical quantum applications. Riverlane aims to address these needs by expanding its quantum error correction (QEC) capabilities and building a wider international community focused on quantum software and education. Abe Asfaw will assume the newly created role of Head of QEC Enablement. In this role, Asfaw is tasked with establishing and leading Riverlane's global QEC enablement function. His responsibilities will focus on facilitating Deltaflow users, as well as others in the quantum community, in developing the skills required to adopt and implement quantum error correction. This includes developing educational programmes, forming partnerships, and building support mechanisms to foster the practical adoption of QEC techniques. Asfaw joins Riverlane after a period at Google Quantum AI, where he led educational and outreach initiatives and helped steer the company's global engagement in quantum computing research. He previously served as Global Lead for Quantum Education and Open Science at IBM Quantum, and played a significant role in founding educational initiatives such as the Qiskit Global Summer School and IBM Quantum Challenge. Regarding his new position, Abraham Asfaw commented, I am excited to join the talented team at Riverlane that has set its focus on accelerating quantum error correction. This is the key ingredient that will enable the full potential of quantum computers. Accelerating QEC means delivering highly capable and intuitive hardware and software tools and simultaneously building learning pathways to transition the quantum community toward QEC capability with these tools. My focus is on making it easier for researchers and developers to apply QEC in practice, which will in turn drive the broader quantum computing field forward faster. Guen Prawiroatmodjo has been appointed as Senior Engineering Manager for Open-source Software. She will lead the development of an open-source software development kit (SDK) designed to enable quantum programmers to build, test and run fault-tolerant circuits on hardware. The SDK will offer tools for generating logical circuits, performing simulations, decoding, and modelling system noise. The first version of the SDK is planned for release in the third quarter of 2025. Prawiroatmodjo's background includes roles at Microsoft, where she developed core elements of the Quantum Development Kit and contributed to Majorana 1, as well as experience at Rigetti Computing and MotherDuck. At Microsoft, she also maintained the Azure Quantum Python SDK, and at Rigetti, was involved in developing a cloud-deployed quantum processor. Prawiroatmodjo stated that accessible software will be critical as quantum hardware evolves, remarking, Today, quantum hardware itself is starting to become capable to running fault-tolerant circuits, and widely available software has not integrated QEC capability yet. In the NISQ era, developers were able to run small, noisy quantum algorithms on hardware for the first time, but these often had to be repeated many times to account for noise and errors in the system. With Riverlane's upcoming SDK, quantum programmers will be able to take their existing NISQ circuits and implement, test and run them in a fault-tolerant way using the latest advances in quantum error correction. Our goal is not only to make it easier to run QEC experiments, but also to upskill the broader quantum community so more people can build, test and run fault-tolerant quantum programs. According to Riverlane, the global pool of experts in quantum error correction remains limited, as highlighted by the scale of attendance at key conferences. The company believes that software is expected to represent a substantial portion of value in quantum computing, similar to trends seen in classical computing, where software generates over 60% of industry revenue. Riverlane's current strategy, led by Liz Durst, Vice President of QEC Community and former Director of IBM's Qiskit platform, involves strengthening the capacity and reach of its QEC Community team. The company is also actively recruiting across software, quantum science, enablement, and engineering roles, aiming to broaden the base of professionals contributing to QEC infrastructure. The additions of Asfaw and Prawiroatmodjo reflect Riverlane's broader effort to facilitate scalable QEC and foster the required developer community to advance fault-tolerant quantum computing technologies.
