PEWAUKEE, Wis. - Law enforcement agencies believe they are on the trail of a Pewaukee native suspected of killing his three children.
What we know
Travis Decker is accused of killing his three young daughters in Washington State. Authorities in Washington confirmed three girls, ages 5, 8 and 9, were found dead on Monday, June 2.
The Chelan County Sheriff's Office received a tip from a hiking party, the sheriff's office announced on Tuesday, June 10. The hikers reported seeing a lone individual in the Enchantments area who appeared "ill-prepared for the conditions" and appeared to be "avoiding others."
Tracking teams responded and found a lone, off-trail hiker from a helicopter near Colchuck Lake. The individual reportedly ran from sight as the helicopter passed. Additional resources were called to the area, and K9 units were deployed after teams picked up a trail. The subject was tracked to the Ingalls Creek Trailhead area on Highway 97.
What you can do
Individuals in the area with cabins or residences in the Blewett Pass/Highway 97 area are urged to report suspicious activity, lock their doors and vehicles and look out for neighbors' property. Those with cameras are asked to check them or submit a tip to the U.S. Marshals tip line with the camera's location for law enforcement review.
If Decker is sighted, you are asked to call 911 immediately and not attempt to contact or approach him. Deputies also recently announced a $20,000 cash reward for any information leading to Decker's arrest.
Decker lived out of his truck. The vehicle was found, but there is no sign of him.

Local perspective
Decker graduated from Pewaukee High School. He was a wrestler while attending the school. His brother told FOX6 News Decker graduated in 2010.
Investigators say Decker kidnapped his three daughters 5-year-old Olivia, 8-year-old Evenlyn and 9-year-old Paityn, who were found dead at the Rock Island Campground outside of Leavenworth, Washington. Investigators say the preliminary cause of death for each was asphyxiation.

Dana White reveals Jon Jones vs. Tom Aspinall was ‘done' but Jones suddenly ‘changed his mind' and retired
Jon Jones vs. Tom Aspinall was a done deal with the fight being targeted for the UFC's return to Madison Square Garden in New York but then the reigning heavyweight champion changed his mind and decided to retire from the sport instead. That's according to UFC CEO Dana White, who offered new details on Jones' decision to retire on Sunday after he first broke the news during the UFC Baku post-fight press conference on Saturday. White revealed the fight was effectively booked but then Jones made a call to the UFC a couple of days ago to inform the promotion that he was hanging up his gloves for good. 'He called us and just started saying 'you know what, I think I'm done, I want to retire. It's been a great run, I appreciate everything' and that was it,' White told MMA Fighting during a media scrum at Fanatics Fest. 'He was absolutely, positively sure that he wanted to retire and we said why don't you sleep on it, if you wake up in the morning if that's how you still feel. 'You never know what Jon Jones is dealing with and then you wake up the next day [and there's new criminal charges]. Who knows. I don't know everything that went into this decision. It's something you guys are going to have to ask him if you ever see him again … all I know is he made it very clear that he wanted to retire and I don't disagree with him.' Jones was hit with new criminal charges on June 17 for leaving the scene of an accident in New Mexico with his next court appearance scheduled for Tuesday. He only faces a misdemeanor charge for the allegations against him but White had no idea any of that was happening until he returned home from Azerbaijan so he can't say for certain if that played in part in Jones decision to retire. 'I saw it today,' White said about Jones' latest legal issues. 'When I saw it today I said everybody's going to think this is why he retired. Maybe that is why he retired. Who the hell knows. I don't know. These are all questions you've got to ask him. 'We had the fight done. You saw me talking about it very confidently that this fight was going to happen and he changed his mind.' White made guarantees for several months that Jones vs. Aspinall was going to happen and now it appears that his confidence centered around already having agreements in places from both fighters. He added that Jones was going to be paid 'what he deserves' for a fight of that magnitude. While nothing was signed, White expected Jones vs. Aspinall to headline the UFC's annual trip to New York City but then he got the news that arguably the greatest fighter of all-time was retiring. Despite the circumstances and how it all played out, White was adamant that he still doesn't believe Jones was ducking Aspinall and retired rather than fight him. 'The fight was done,' White said. 'We had the fight done a long time ago. Why he decided not to fight, you guys will have to ask him that. 'No, Jon Jones — I've said it a million times and I'll say it again — he's never ducked anybody. Other than that one goofy time with the Chael Sonnen thing, he's never ducked anybody. I think the reality is whatever changed his mind with this fight, I don't know you'd have to ask him that but he's 38 years old and I don't know.' Jones' decision to retire may have been surprising at the time but White keeps the same attitude towards every fighter when that conversation starts. 'We had the fight done,' White reiterated. 'Our job is to make the biggest fights we can make and the fights that the fans want to see and that's what we try to do. But the minute somebody starts talking about retirement, you know my philosophy on that, you should do it.' Security guard kills gunman, thwarts attack on Michigan church, say police
An alleged active shooter intent on attacking a Michigan church on Sunday was shot and killed by a security guard, authorities said. The shooting unfolded around 11:15 a.m. local time at the CrossPointe Community Church in the Detroit suburb of Wayne, according to the Wayne Police Department. Law enforcement sources said the suspect drove his Nissan truck into the church and opened fire, ABC Detroit affiliate WXYZ reported. The Wayne Police Department confirmed on Facebook that the suspect was shot and killed by a security guard at the church. At least one victim was shot in the leg during the attack, according to police. Police are investigating a Facebook livestream of the CrossPointe Community Church service in which gunshots can be heard as members of the congregation are seen rushing to evacuate the sanctuary. A bomb-sniffing dog was brought to the scene by the Michigan State Police and a police bomb squad was also brought to the scene, according to officials, but there was no immediate confirmation from police that explosives were involved in the incident. As police investigated a motive for the attack, the FBI said it was sending agents to Wayne to help in the investigation. "Our leadership and support teams are on the ground, at the scene, in Wayne, Michigan providing assistance and investigative support," FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino said in a statement. The church shooting came during a heightened threat environment across the country following the U.S. attack overnight in Iran that destroyed or severely degraded three of Iran's nuclear facilities, according to White House officials. Acknowledging the heightened threat environment, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said in a statement that "it is our duty to keep the nation safe and informed, especially during times of conflict." "The ongoing Israel-Iran conflict brings the possibility of increased threat to the homeland in the form of possible cyberattacks, acts of violence, and antisemitic hate crime," Noem said. MORE: Amid recent string of attacks inspired by Israel-Hamas war, some experts worry counterterrorism not a priority The attack in Wayne came in the wake of a public bulletin the Department of Homeland Security issued after the U.S. strikes in Iran, warning that "low-level cyber attacks" against U.S. targets "are likely" and that extremists inside the U.S. would be more likely to turn to violence if Iranian leadership calls for such retaliation. The bulletin further urges the public to report any suspicious activity. It was not immediately known if the church attack has any connection to the U.S. attack on Iran's nuclear facilities. Officers arriving at the scene quickly evacuated the church after learning that a security guard stopped the attack by shooting and killing the suspect, according to police. The suspect's name was not immediately released. The security guard was also not immediately identified by authorities.
