Nakatani (30-0, 23 KOs), Uncrowned's No. 8 male boxer pound-for-pound, is a three-division world champion. He won the WBC bantamweight title with a sixth-round TKO win over Alexandro Santiago in February 2024 and has made three successful title defenses since. Nakatani is heavily linked to a potential all-Japanese superfight with undisputed super bantamweight champion Naoya Inoue in 2026.

Nishida (10-0, 2 KOs) captured the IBF bantamweight title with a decision win over Emmanuel Rodriguez in May 2024. He knocked out Anuchai Donsua in seven rounds in his lone title defense in December.
Also on the card, Tenshin Nasukawa (6-0, 2 KOs) — a former kickboxing sensation — takes on Victor Santillan (14-1, 5 KOs) in a 10-round bantamweight bout, as Nasukawa edges closer toward a shot at a world championship.

The opening round was somewhat tentative, with Fiziev and Bahamondes both working to find their range and score something of significance. There were many kicks exchanged, and in between them some clean punches landed but nothing that appeared to hurt either athlete. Advertisement Bahamondes changed course to start the second round by shooting for an early takedown that was shut down by Fiziev. Bahamondes tried to push Fiziev into the cage but it was largely ineffective, but it opened up more striking opportunities when they got back to range. With a little more than a minute remaining Fiziev turned the tide and got two takedowns then landed a hard punch late that sent Bahamondes to his backside. With a chance to secure the win in the final round, Fiziev picked up his pace and started to land with more consistency. Bahamondes obliged to his desired range and more landed straight punches, his most effective blow of the fight, but Fiziev took them all well. Fiziev closed the fight strong with a final takedown and some ferocious punches on the mat. After getting his hand raised for the first time since July 2022, Fiziev expressed his desire to climb back up toward the top of the lightweight rankings. "I'm happy to represent my homeland here," Fiziev said through an interpreter in his post-fight interview with Michael Bisping. "I don't know (who is next). I'm a rocket man. SEATTLE (AP) — Valentin Carboni scored the game-winning goal in stoppage time to give Inter Milan a 2-1 win over Urawa in the Club World Cup on Saturday, ending the Japan club's chances of advancing past the group stage. Inter Milan held the vast majority of possession, but failed to score until the 78th minute when Lautaro Martinez brilliantly bicycle kicked Nicolo Barella's corner ball into the net. Advertisement Carboni's game-winner came in the second minute of stoppage time and was assisted by fellow substitute Francesco Esposito. The Urawa Red Diamonds opened the scoring in the 11th minute. Takuro Kaneko assisted Ryoma Watanabe in transition, finding Watanabe all alone on the penalty spot with his cutback ball. Key moment Urawa had one final chance to equalize in the last minute of stoppage time, but goalkeeper Yann Sommer tipped the long-distance attempt directly from the free kick over the crossbar.
