Hankook Cements Its Tire Supremacy at the 2025 Jakarta E-Prix

GEN3 Evo iON Race Tires Triumph in Jakarta's Sweltering Round 12 Showdown Dan Ticktum conquers Jakarta's sweltering heat in a commanding drive at the Jakarta International E-Prix Circuit GEN3 Evo iON Race tires excel in grip, heat resistance, and stability across Jakarta's technically demanding layout and extreme track conditions The Season 11 title fight intensifies as Formula E leaves Asia behind and prepares for decisive final rounds in Berlin and London JAKARTA, Indonesia, June 22, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Under Jakarta's unforgiving tropical heat, Hankook Tire & Technology (hereafter Hankook), a leading global tire company under the Hankook & Company Group, reinforced its performance leadership at the 2025 Jakarta E-Prix—Round 12 of the 2024/2025 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship (hereafter Formula E). After a one-season hiatus, Formula E roared back to action on the Jakarta International E-Prix Circuit (hereafter JIEC), a fiercely technical track set against the energetic backdrop of the Ancol waterfront. Dan Ticktum secured a decisive victory—injecting new momentum into the escalating championship battle. Oliver Rowland maintained his lead in the drivers' standings with 172 points, while TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team further solidified its dominance at the top of the teams' standings with 203 points. The track, inspired by the flowing movements of the traditional Javanese Kuda Lumping dance, the 2.37km circuit pushed all 22 drivers to their limits with a mix of sweeping corners, tight technical sections, and scarce overtaking zones—made even more punishing by Jakarta's humidity and track surface temperatures exceeding 40°C. Engineered exclusively by Hankook for Formula E, the GEN3 Evo iON Race tire proved pivotal in Jakarta's extreme conditions. Each team's two allocated sets delivered consistent grip, thermal resilience, and control—empowering drivers to push the limits through the circuit's most challenging sections without compromising performance or safety. Maximilian Günther of DS Penske commented: "Jakarta's climate and circuit layout really test both the driver and the car to the edge. The GEN3 Evo iON Race tire handled the heat and surface complexity incredibly well. It gave me the confidence to attack and defend—even in the tightest corners. What's most impressive is how consistent the tire feels across conditions like this—something that clearly carries over into road tire technology too." As Formula E concludes its Asia tour, the spotlight now shifts to the decisive final stretch of Season 11. Next up is the 2025 Hankook Berlin E-Prix, taking place on July 12 & 13—marking the penultimate double-header of the season and the final race to carry the Hankook race title sponsorship this season. As the championship race heats up, Hankook continues to lead the charge in electric motorsport innovation—delivering sustainable, high-performance tire solutions that extend beyond the racetrack and drive the future of global e-mobility. Dolphins' Tyreek Hill Begs for Jalen Ramsey to Return

Dolphins' Tyreek Hill Begs for Jalen Ramsey to Return originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The latest drama in the Dolphins' Jalen Ramsey situation came from receiver Tyreek Hill earlier today. At Fanatics Fest, Hill said he's going to get Ramsey back in a Dolphins' jersey. "I'm going to hangout with Ramsey today, so I'm going to get him back. Full-court press, I'm getting him, Ramsey, back in a Dolphins jersey," Hill said. "I don't care what they say - tampering, whatever - we need Ramsey. He's a dog. He's one of the best corners in the league, man. Great leader, great teammate too, though. That's what he doesn't get a lot of credit for. We just need him on the Dolphins man." Advertisement Ramsey and Dolphins mutually agreed to find a trade partner early in the offseason. However, Ramsey remains a Dolphin with less than a month until training camp begins. This week, multiple reports and hints came out of where Ramsey landing spot could be. Ramsey followed multiple Steelers' players on Instagram, potentially indicating him ending up in Pittsburgh. Adam Schefter reported yesterday that Ramsey has interest in playing for a West Coast team, either the Chargers, 49ers or the Rams. The Rams have been heavy in the Ramsey conversation since the beginning, with the cornerback playing four years with the Rams and winning a Super Bowl. Many believed a reunion would be the perfect landing spot for Ramsey. Advertisement However, Sean McVay said it would take a lot of work to figure out a way to bring Ramsey back to the Rams. There seems to be a lot of uncertainty as to where Ramsey will be playing in 2025. According to Schefter, it'll be on the West Coast. But, Hill is going to do his best to keep Ramsey in Miami for now. This story was originally reported by Athlon Sports on Jun 21, 2025, where it first appeared.

Inter Milan ends Urawa's Club World Cup hopes with a win on 2 late goals

SEATTLE -- Valentin Carboni scored in stoppage time to give Inter Milan a 2-1 win over Urawa in the Club World Cup on Saturday, ending the Japanese club's chances of advancing past the group stage. Inter Milan failed to score until the 78th minute, despite holding the vast majority of possession. Lautaro Martinez brilliantly bicycle kicked Nicolo Barella's corner ball into the net. Carboni's game-winner assisted by Francesco Esposito came 14 minutes later. It was the culmination of multiple scoring threats by Inter, which had 21 more shot attempts than the Red Diamonds. Urawa opened the scoring in the 11th minute to the delight of their exuberant fans, who have shown up in droves for these Seattle cup matches. Ryoma Watanabe scored on an assist in transition by Takuro Kaneko, who found Watanabe all alone on the penalty spot with his cutback ball. The fans in red filled the south end of Lumen Field and made up a large swath of the 25,090 attendees. Their coordinated chants and jeers didn't wane until after the final whistle. Urawa had a chance to equalize in the last minute of stoppage time, but goalkeeper Yann Sommer tipped the long-distance free kick over the crossbar. Inter Milan takes over the top spot in Group E after following up their tournament-opening draw with the victory. The Italian club will play River Plate of Argentina on Wednesday. Urawa will be playing for pride against CF Monterrey on Wednesday. 'I cannot find the words, I am so frustrated. ... We had the objective to go on to the next stage, so this loss is very hard for us. But we still have one more game to go. ... There are many fans who have come all the way or (are) still remaining in Japan and cheering for us, so we would like to win for them.' — Urawa Red Diamonds goalkeeper Shusaku Nishikawa 'I was speaking to (Carboni) the day before yesterday, and he told me that it was eight months exactly since his cruciate ligament injury. Coming through an injury like that, with all of the hard work and graft he's had to put in ... you don't know whether you're going to come back to the peak of your powers. That's not easy at all, so it was lovely to see him so emotional. I was a little bit emotional as well. It brought a tear to my eye because he's a kid that I know very well. I'm delighted that he has the opportunity now to experience something as significant as that (goal).' — Inter Milan head coach Cristian Chivu ___
