Quick Summary
The latest batch of games coming to PS Plus this month have been announced.
PS Plus Extra and Premium members will be able to download Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown and UFC 5 for free from 18 March, along with a collection of other top titles.
One of the best action games of the last year will soon be available to all PS Plus Extra and Premium members to download for free.
Sony has announced the games to be added to the PS Plus game and classics catalogues this month, and they include the rip-roaring Ubisoft platformer, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown.
Available from 18 March, the game has scored 86 on Metacritic for the PS5 and PS5 Pro, and it'll be available for PS4 owners to enjoy too.
It puts you in the sandals of a new hero, Sargon, who must undergo a perilous journey to rescue Price Ghassan from the turncoat General Anahita. This will result in plenty of combat to test you, as well as the cunning use of time powers in order to progress.
Presented in 2.5D side-scrolling fashion, the first major Prince of Persia game in more than a decade surprised many with its format, gameplay and crisp cartoon-like graphic style. It's an excellent jaunt that's well worth a download – especially for free.
Also coming to the main PS Plus game catalogue next Tuesday is UFC 5, the latest in EA's mixed martial arts series. It's a PS5 exclusive although there are a fair few games that'll be available for PS4 too.
Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions, Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation Code Fairy, Arcade Paradise, Bang-On Balls: Chronicles, You Suck at Parking, and Syberia – The World Before are each available for PS4 and PS5.
PS VR2 owners with PS Plus Premium also get Arcade Paradise VR, so you can transport yourself to an 80s-style coin-op emporium of your own styling to play retro-inspired games.
And if it's true retro games you're after, the PS Plus Premium members get a trio of old school Armored Core games to play on PS4 or PS5. That includes the first ever Armored Core, Armored Core: Project Phantasma, and Armored Core: Master of Arena.
Sadly, as is usual, PS Plus Essential members won't get any of the new additions, although the three games added at the beginning of March – Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Sonic Colors: Ultimate and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection – are all available to all subscribers no matter the tier.

Jon Bernthal To Return As The Punisher In 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day'

One of the great things about Marvel Studios and Sony working together is that it allows the live-action Spider-Man franchise to incorporate other beloved Marvel characters outside of Sony's Spider-Man rights. As such, it's been announced that Punisher actor Jon Bernthal will reprise his role for the upcoming MCU project Spider-Man: Brand New Day . The new film will be the fourth live-action solo Spider-Man film set in the MCU, all of which have starred Tom Holland as the titular webslinger. Now it looks like Holland will be working alongside Bernthal who played the Punisher in both Daredevil shows, his own spin-off series, and an upcoming Punisher special for Disney Plus in addition to other MCU appearances. We previously reported back in 2021 that Marvel Studios was interested in having Jon Bernthal appear in a Spider-Man film, and not only that, but that they wanted Bernthal to return in a solo project as well. This does line up with the new announcement, as shared via THR, which confirms Bernthal is returning in the newest Spider-Man entry: 'Bernthal has joined Tom Holland in Spider-Man: Brand New Day , the latest Spider-Man movie from Sony and Marvel. Destin Daniel Cretton is directing the feature, which will shoot in England this summer.' In addition to Holland and Bernthal, the film will also feature MCU stars Zendaya and Jacob Batalon, in addition to newcomer Sadie Sink in an unknown role. Many details regarding the projects are being kept under wraps, including what other characters or plot details fans will get to expect, but hopefully more information will be shared in the near future. Especially now that we know The Punisher will somehow be involved. Fans will be able to see Spider-Man: Brand New Day when it hits theaters next year on July 31, 2026. Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for any additional updates regarding the highly-anticipated MCU blockbuster as we have them.

Body Language Expert Says Prince William "Sad and Subdued," as Royal Aides Claim Kate Middleton Missing Royal Ascot Is "No Cause for Alarm"

When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. Royal fans were shocked when Kate Middleton canceled her appearance at Royal Ascot on June 18 at the very last minute. Former royal butler Grant Harrold suggested Prince William would "definitely feel the void" of Kate's absence, via Spin Genie. Now, palace insiders are setting the record straight about Princess Kate's decision to skip Royal Ascot, while a body language expert has weighed in on the Prince of Wales's solo appearance. At the time, royal sources said the Princess of Wales was extremely "disappointed" to miss the prestigious event, but she needed "to find the right balance as she continues her recovery from cancer and a phased return to full duties," via The Sunday Times's royal editor, Roya Nikkhah, on X. However, GB News has since reported that "palace insiders moved quickly to quell any speculation, insisting the situation stemmed from administrative confusion rather than health concerns." As reported by GB News, "Royal sources stressed there was 'no cause for alarm' and that Kate was adhering to the guidance previously given about finding the right equilibrium in her duties." As for how an alleged mistake about Princess Kate's attendance could have occurred, GB News stated, "The administrative mix-up unfolded when Ascot executives released the day's procession list at midday, listing both the Prince and Princess of Wales in the second carriage behind The King and Queen." It would seem that, according to palace insiders, the Princess of Wales had chosen to skip Royal Ascot long before the public became aware of her decision. Body language expert Judi James analyzed Prince William's appearance at Royal Ascot on June 18, telling the Express, "While his father, The King, chatted happily to their guest in the carriage, using some animated, good-humored body language displays, William seemed to sit back quietly with a slightly slumped posture, looking subdued and rather reflective without Kate at his side." James told the outlet that the Prince of Wales appeared to be "sad and subdued" at the regal event.
