Snow, icy mix moving in for Thursday morning commute

(WBRE/WYOU) — Wind, sun, and seasonal temperatures will give way for mixed precipitation early Thursday that could impact your morning commute.
Tuesday will be windy and a bit colder across northeast and central Pennsylvania. Clouds mix with sunshine throughout the day with highs in the mid-30s.
Tuesday night will be mostly cloudy with lighter winds, and lows in the upper teens.
Wednesday will favor more clouds than sunshine with highs around 30.
Our next storm system will arrive Thursday morning with a brief period of snow to start. Then, it will change over to a mix of sleet and freezing rain. This will have travel impacts for the Thursday morning commute.
By the afternoon, some areas (in the higher elevations) will hold onto the icy conditions while others see a changeover to plain rain. Highs in the upper 30s to lower 40s.

We catch a break on Friday, and high pressure briefly builds in. We'll have a partly sunny sky with highs in the mid-30s.
Another storm system arrives Saturday afternoon with a similar setup to Thursday's storm. Any snow will change over to sleet and freezing rain and continue into the overnight.
Traffic Information
By Sunday morning, some of the higher elevations will still be icy while valleys may switch to rain. There should be improvements by the afternoon with highs around 40.
Monday is quiet with more clouds than the sun. Highs in the mid-30s.
