Omar Berrada confident Man Utd can deliver men's and women's titles by 2028

Berrada, who first told staff of his 'Project 150' vision in September last year, knows that represents a significant challenge with Ruben Amorim's side having just endured a worst top-flight season since relegation in 1973-74, while Chelsea continue to dominate the Women's Super League.
However, he believes marking a major milestone in the club's history since it was founded as Newton Heath in 1878 with double title success is realistic.
In an interview with the United We Stand fanzine to be published on Wednesday, Berrada said: 'It's establishing a series of targets within a timeframe so we can focus our efforts and energy on that goal.
'Can the team win the Premier League title by 2028? Of course.
'We've just finished 15th and it seems an impossible task. But why not aim for it? Why not do everything in our power?'
While United finished third in the WSL, 16 points behind champions Chelsea who also beat them in the FA Cup final, the men languished just three places above the Premier League relegation zone and lost the Europa League final to Tottenham.
Nevertheless, Berrada is sticking to his timetable.
He said: 'I firmly believe we can do it. We have two or three summer windows to build a team to start competing to win the Premier League.'

City's Brazil winger Savinho, 21, who is set to face Abu Dhabi side Al Ain in their second game in the US in Atlanta in the early hours of Monday in UK time, said: 'This is very much the new season for us. Last season is over, we can't change anything about that now. We're completely focused on this one. We've got to learn from the mistakes we made last season and also forget about it a bit. 'I'm really happy that we were able to bring in four such quality reinforcements. They're training really well and integrating into a group that is really settled so that is good to see. I'm looking forward to getting onto the pitch with them.' ‌ Savinho was a bright spot in City's season as the 21-year-old joined in 2024 for £30m and his pace, goals and energy really put him on the map. The season overall was a frustrating one for City but Savinho says it was a big learning curve for him despite the setbacks. I'm really happy to be here and my team mates, the coaches are really excited about the tournament. We put in the hard yards, we've prepared well and we're really ready for tomorrow's game.' Nico Gonzalez was one of the big January signings as he joined for £50m and was seen as a vital arrival to help plug the gap left by Rodri who missed virtually all the season with a cruciate knee ligament injury. ‌ That was a huge blow and issue for City's season but Rodri is coming back and Gonzalez says he is learning from the Spain midfielder. He said: 'He has been back a couple of months, he is an amazing player and really good in everything that can be good in a midfielder. 'I am trying to learn the most I can and I think I am starting to watch him at his best level. I am seeing things that I haven't seen in a lot of midfielders.' Napoli open talks to sign another Man Utd star after Jadon Sancho agreement

Napoli are interested in signing another Manchester United star having enquired into a deal for Rasmus Hojlund. After a woeful second season in Manchester where he managed just four goals in 32 Premier League appearances, United are prepared to listen to offers for the Denmark international and make an upgrade up front ahead of the new campaign. Inter Milan have held talks with their Premier League counterparts in recent weeks over a move to bring the former Atalanta star back to Italy. The Nerazzurri are keen on a loan deal with an option to buy for €45million (£38m) but United are looking for a permanent arrangement.
