In an interview with The Guardian, Kyrgios ripped the BBC for not bringing him back as a commentator during this year's Wimbledon, taking a dig at his replacement in the process. 'I know I'm a great commentator,' Kyrgios said. 'All I've done for 20 years is play, study and breathe this sport. I also think tennis needs commentators who say things that not everyone says. 'It's unfortunate but it's probably their loss more than mine,' he continued. 'I understand they've got Chris Eubanks but he hasn't beaten the greatest of all time multiple times. The Australian Kyrgios was on BBC's airwaves in London during last year's Wimbledon after he sat out due to a wrist injury. The network faced significant blowback for hiring Kyrgios for their television coverage after he previously admitted to assaulting his ex-girlfriend. There's no doubt that King Charles' illness has accelerated the timeline for succession, or at least the timeline for preparations in the UK. The King has returned to most of his duties, but his age and his illness have made the British Royal Family very aware of the reality that there will soon be another King. And preparations for that have already started, with reports indicating that Prince William and Kate Middleton's roles are already starting to resemble this reality. Perhaps the clearest sign of this is King Charles pretty much deferring to Prince William's preferences when it comes to how they've handled the feud with Prince Harry. Reports indicate King Charles hasn't wanted to take too harsh a stance on his son, but Prince William isn't of the same line of thinking. King Charles has, so far, not taken any steps that might be hard for William to come back from when he is King. They also, necessarily, involve their three kids: Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. All of this comes amid reports that King Charles' cancer is reportedly incurable, but manageable. Royal writer and associate editor of the Daily Telegraph, Camilla Tominey wrote, 'The talk now is that he may die 'with' cancer, but not 'of' cancer following a rigorous treatment program.' This presumably ties into how William and Kate are preparing their kids going forward. It all started with the trio making their first appearance of summer 2025 at Trooping the Colour. The family then posted a picture of all of them on Instagram. On Father's Day, another picture was shared, now of the kids with their father, Prince William. Royal expert and author Robert Jobson discussed the preparations with Hello! magazine. 'It's all about William now, and him preparing Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis for their future roles in the next decade or so,' Jobson told the outlet. 'William takes his responsibilities to the institution, to his father, to his family, very seriously. You see that in the way he looks and the way he acts. He has grown into the role of supporting his father and being a King in waiting.' This reportedly includes the understanding that Prince George has a different burden to bear than his siblings, as the firstborn. That's reportedly why, on the 80th anniversary of VE Day, Prince George attended a tea party for veterans with his parents. His siblings were not present. Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond told the Mirror, about it. '[It] may be the only opportunity George will ever have of speaking to men and women who served their King and country during the war.' She added, 'It's a lesson that will serve him well in the future…One day he will be Chief of the Armed Forces himself, and he may well look back at some of those conversations and be glad that he had the chance to meet some of the few remaining veterans.' There have been many reports about Prince William's intention to scale down the monarchy. 'Roadblock': Paramount Stock (NASDAQ:PARA) Surges as the Trump Settlement Sputters

As it turns out, entertainment giant Paramount (PARA) was actually fairly close to a deal with President Trump over the 60 Minutes lawsuit. But, when the deal was fairly close, a 'roadblock' emerged and put a halt to the whole matter, at least for now. Investors reacted with surprising strength, and perhaps even more surprising positivity. Paramount shares gained nearly 2.5% in the closing minutes of Friday's trading. Confident Investing Starts Here: The settlement had reached $35 million, reports noted, when Paramount suddenly found itself paralyzed by indecision. That delay caused Trump lawyers to pivot and pull back to their original demand, calling for a $50 million settlement. The biggest problem seems to be that the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is also involved in this, and needs to sign off on the merger with Skydance as well. Reports suggested that Paramount brass believes that the FCC's sign-off on the deal needs to be contingent on settling the case, but by like token, the idea that requiring FCC approval as part of the settlement looks a lot like a bribe. Trump's legal team, reports note, has already been clear that the Trump suit and the FCC case are two separate matters. But with outside organizations looking to launch their own lawsuits should the settlement go through, looks may count for more here than anyone expected. South Park Losses Mount Meanwhile, as Paramount faces the prospect of losing South Park exclusivity, it quietly pulled another old episode from the field. The pull this time showed up in the Canadian and Australian markets, reports noted, and this time, featured Butters' Very Own Episode pulled from Paramount+. Why, however, is a bit of a mystery. Several South Park episodes are apparently a bit too spicy for streaming, in retrospect, with around a dozen classic episodes set to be pulled from the catalog and relegated to a 'ban list', reports noted. The reports got stranger as an Australian viewer noted that the Paramount+ listing had been pulled, but the episode could still be watched by watching through Paramount+ on Amazon (AMZN) Prime Video. Is Paramount Stock a Good Buy Right Now? Turning to Wall Street, analysts have a Hold consensus rating on PARA stock based on two Buys, eight Holds and five Sells assigned in the past three months, as indicated by the graphic below. After a 18.62% rally in its share price over the past year, the average PARA price target of $12.08 per share implies 2.23% downside risk.
