It comes as another car caught fire on a major Scots motorway, leaving part of it closed off. The incident happened just before 12.30pm on Sunday, June 15, on the M8 in Lanarkshire.
The westbound off-slip for junction six at Newhouse has been shut to allow firefighters to extinguish the blaze. One lane of the motorway has also been "restricted" on approach.

Police and paramedics were also dispatched to the scene, but it is not known whether anybody was injured.
Kimberley Collins, who witnessed the fire, said: "When we were travelling, from Glasgow to Edinburgh, we could see smoke and we weren't sure what side of the motorway it was coming from.
"As we got closer the smoke was getting thicker and the cars were starting to slow down, traffic began to build up.
"Shortly after, two police cars formed a rolling road block on the westbound carriageway where the burning car was. As we continued driving another fire engine and road recovery truck passed us on the westbound carriageway.
"Not every day you see something like that! Hope everyone involved is safe and well done to the emergency services for all their hard work."
