Jaipur: Padmaja Singh claimed a quadruple while Rakshit Singh Mehra and Garima Yadav grabbed a triple crown each as the eight-day long RD Baheti Charitable Trust Jaipur District Open Badminton Championship concluded at the Sawai Mansingh Indoor Stadium here on Monday.

Besides Padmaja, Rakshit and Garima, Bhanu Pratap Jatoliya, Advika Agarwal, Jaywardhan Singh, Anvi Rathore, Shreyansh Chaudhary, Ansh Katara and Vikas Sharma also won two titles each.
On the last day, five finals were played out of which Rakshit emerged victorious in three. In the U-11 boys singles, Rakshit outclassed Naitik Bansal 21-9, 21-14.
Stamping his authority in the higher age group too, nine-year-old Rakshit trounced Lakshyaraj Singh Nathawat 21-10, 21-10 in the U-13 boys singles.
The pair of Rakshit and Lakshyaraj downed Anees Chahar and Pranav Mulchandani 21-12, 21-19 to clinch the U-13 boys doubles title.
In the U-19 boys singles summit clash, Bhanu Pratap defeated Amber Chandravanshi 21-9, 21-17.
However, Amber turned the tables on Bhanu Pratap in the U-19 boys doubles final. Ambar-Pranjal Kaushik rallied back strongly to upset the Bhanu Pratap-Vishal Chaudhary after a long and tough hour-long fight 20-22, 20-21, 21-17.
MLA and former health minister Kalicharan Saraf was the chief guest and distributed the prizes. RD Baheti, Pradeep Baheti, retired chief justice NK Jain, Yash Samiti president Ashish Saraf, additional SP Pushpendra Singh Rathore and Jaipur District Badminton Association secretary Manoj Dasot were the guests of honour.
On this occasion Kalicharan Saraf got introduced to all the players and praised the sportsmanship of the players and wished them all the best for a bright future while Pradeep Baheti also praised the sportsmanship of the players.

Organizing secretary Atul Gupta congratulated everyone for this wonderful event. Jaipur: Garima Yadav bagged a double crown on the penultimate day of the RD Baheti Charitable Trust Jaipur District Open Badminton Championship at the Sawai Mansingh Indoor Stadium here on Sunday. Dominating the U-19 category, Garima won both the singles as well as doubles titles. Padmaja Singh also continued her fine performance and bagged the U-13 girls singles title. In a thrilling U-19 girls singles title clash that lasted for 48 minutes, Garima rallied back splendidly to edge past Nidhi in three tough games 18-21, 21-18, 23-21. Later in the day, Garima teamed up with her partner Advika Agarwal to defeat the pair of Navya Arora and Pratishtha 21-16, 21-18 in the U-19 doubles final. Padmaja did not have to stretch much in bagging the U-13 girls singles title, by ousting Riddhi Batra 21-14, 21-15 in the final. In the U-11 boys singles semi-finals, Rakshit Singh Mehra thrashed Lakshit Rewar 21-4, 21-3, while Naitik Bansal got the better of Garvit Dahiya 21-9, 21-12 to enter the final. Jaipur: Promising shuttler Rashi Singhal grabbed the Under-11 girls singles crown as the Under-19 mixed doubles pair of Bhanu Pratap and Padmaja Singh triumphed in the RD Baheti Charitable Trust Jaipur District Open Badminton Championship at the Sawai Mansingh Indoor Stadium here on Saturday. On the sixth day of the eight-day long tournament, the finals of the two categories were played. Rashi Singhal ousted Abhika Meena 21-16, 21-8 in the U-11 girls singles final. In the U-19 mixed doubles summit clash, the duo of Bhanu Pratap and Padmaja Singh defeated the pair of Hrithik Verma and Reva Awasthi 21-11, 21-13 to win the title. Garima Yadav trounced Devanshi Lal 21-12, 21-7, while Nidhi prevailed over Yashasvi Sharma 21-8, 22-20 in the U-19 girls singles semi-finals. In the U-19 girls doubles, Navya Arora-Pratiksha downed Aishwarya and Kashika Jain 21-11, 21-7 and will lock horns with Advika Agarwal-Garima Yadav in the final on Sunday.
