Angelina Jolie's daughter Shiloh reveals new name after snubbing dad Brad Pitt
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's child, born Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt, is now going by a new name.
The 19-year-old appeared at the launch of Isabel Marant's capsule collection with Net-A-Porter on Thursday, May 29, in LA.
Shiloh was listed as 'Shi Joli' in the event's press release, according to US Weekly.
The name, which excludes her father's surname altogether, is seemingly a shortened version of her new legal name.
Shi was credited at the event as a choreographer for a dance routine performed by Keoni Rose and Tako Suzuki to singer-songwriter Luella's new song Naïve.
Shortly after her 18th birthday in May of last year, Shi filed documents to drop her famous dad's surname amid her parents' ongoing legal battles.
She later announced her intention via an advert in the Los Angeles Times, per California law, and attended a hearing in August.
According to People Magazine, the teenager was reportedly granted her wish and was legally allowed to change her name to Shiloh Jolie.
Although Brad has not spoken publicly about the decision, an insider claimed that he was 'aware and upset' about the move.
'He's aware and upset that Shiloh dropped his last name,' a source told People Magazine. 'The reminders that he's lost his children, is of course not easy for Brad. He loves his children and misses them. It's very sad.'
Shi was born in 2006, nearly a year after her parents started dating.
Pitt and Jolie also share children Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Zahara, 20, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16.
Shi isn't the only one of her siblings to drop Pitt as a surname; her sister Zahara publicly introduced herself using only her mother's last name when she joined the sorority Alpha Kappa Alpha at Spelman College.
Vivienne also appears to have done the same, with her choice revealed on the playbill for musical The Outsiders, with the credits listing her just as 'Vivienne Jolie.'
It remains unclear if any of the children besides Shi have legally changed their names.
The news of Shi's name change comes after Pitt's revealing interview for the June issue of GQ magazine, in which he promoted his new movie F1 and addressed the finalization of his divorce from Jolie.
'No, I don't think it was that major of a thing,' Pitt said when asked if he felt any relief after the court proceedings finally wrapped up.
'Just something coming to fruition. Legally.' More Trending
That legal journey began in 2016, when Jolie filed for divorce after two years of marriage and more than a decade together.
What followed was a highly publicised and often acrimonious separation, encompassing custody disputes, property disagreements, and, more recently, a contentious fight over their jointly-owned French winery, Chateau Miraval.
While the divorce was officially finalised in December 2023, many of the issues between the former couple continued to play out in court, casting a long shadow over both of their careers and public images.
The legal proceedings were punctuated by allegations of abuse, which Pitt has denied.

Brit, 22, arrested at Disneyland Paris after 'trying to marry Ukrainian girl, 9'
Disneyland Paris cast members alerted the police after the 22-year-old man was seen with a child, dressed in four-inch heels taped to her feet and accompanied by her Ukranian mother A British man has been arrested at Disneyland Paris for trying to marry a nine-year-old girl in a bizarre private event. Disney cast members alerted the police after the 22-year-old man was seen with a child, dressed in four-inch heels taped to her feet and accompanied by her Ukranian mother, at private function held at 5am on Saturday, before the French theme park was open to the public. The ceremony was due to take place at dawn in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle at the end of Main Street, USA and had been hired out of for a wedding, with organisers failing to tell Disney what was planned. Disneyland Paris was reportedly deceived about the nature of the event, with the organiser assuming the "identity of a Latvian national" and using "false documents to secure the contract for privatising the park", BFM TV in France reports. It is reported that guests' were recruited online via adverts seeking 200 adults and 100 children aged between five and 15 to play the guests at a 'rehearsal' for a wedding in Disneyland. Video obtained by BFM showed around 100 seated guests awaiting the ceremony as a female violin trio played at dawn before a stage strewn with flowers. The event reportedly cost around £110,000. "Four people were arrested and questioned: the groom, who was believed to be the organiser of the event and is presumed to be British, aged 22; the mother of the child, a 41-year-old Ukrainian woman; and two Latvian nationals aged 55 and 24," a statement from the French prosecutor's office in the nearby town of Meaux said. The 55-year-old Latvian man claimed he was recruited to play the role of the bride's father for 12,000 euros but discovered last minute she was nine years old, local news reports. Disneyland Paris told French newspaper Le Parisien the event was immediately shut down by its team and that guests were stopped from entering the premises. Circumstances around the wedding remain unclear, as to whether it was a stunt or a real ceremony. A medical examination of the young girl found she had not suffered any violence, the prosecutor's office said. A police source said the groom has claimed to be the director of a production company and they were shooting a video. An updated statement from the prosecutors office said: "So it wasn't a wedding, but a staged wedding filmed with around a hundred extras. They privatised Disneyland Paris, pretending it was a real wedding." Two suspects have been charged with 'fraud and breach of trust' against Disneyland Paris. One wedding guest told the Le Parisien: "We all thought we were going to attend a wedding... Everyone was stunned, no one expected it. Disneyland did things very well. "They canceled everything as soon as they realised the bride was a child. We were shocked to see that." Another extra, named Yeleen, who attended the ceremony with her daughter, said: "I saw a little girl dressed in white. I saw her hair prepared with curls and a lady picking her up in her arms. "At that moment, I was shocked. I realised when I saw the child. It was atrocious."

Fans convinced Valtteri Bottas has new job as Lewis Hamilton's former F1 team-mate posts cryptic social media updates

The Finn lost his F1 seat with Sauber at the end of the 2025 season and now operates as the Mercedes team reserve driver. 7 Valtteri Bottas has convinced fans he will land a new job in F1 after some cryptic social media posts Credit: X 7 Bottas was seen wearing a cowboy hat before spotting a topical car brand Credit: X 7 His cameraman pointed to the Cadillac symbol at the front of the car Credit: X 7 Bottas remarked it was a 'nice seat' as he touched the driver's seat Credit: X 7 The Finn then commented how there were two seats free Credit: X 7 Bottas was then asked if he wanted to drive it, to which he said, 'Not yet' Credit: X However, Lewis Hamilton's old team-mate has been linked with reclaiming a spot on the grid when the paddock expands to accommodate Cadillac as the 11th F1 team for 2026. And to that end, Bottas has left fans thinking an announcement over his future is imminent after he appeared to tease a partnership with the US luxury car manufacturer. Taking to social media, Bottas first shared a pair of snaps of himself at a pool table wearing a cowboy-style hat at Silver City Aspen in Colorado. But it was his second post which really got fans talking. READ MORE IN F1 HORROR SMASH Racing driver rushed to hospital after car flips in terrifying crash While out on a stroll, Bottas' cameraman, Paul Ripke, pointed out a car ahead of them, before highlighting it was a Cadillac. Having opened the door of the car, Ripke remarks: "That's a nice seat." The 35-year-old then goes and touches the seat, saying: "Oh wow, that's actually a nice seat." After a moment of looking inside the car, Ripke notes: "And there's two seats." BEST ONLINE CASINOS - TOP SITES IN THE UK Bottas looks and then looks at Ripke, saying: "And they're both free." He is then asked if he wants to sit in it, to which he replies: "Not yet." F1 star wears budgie smugglers as he competes in race he founded in completely different sport American manufacturer Cadillac are joining the F1 2026 grid in partnership with General Motors. Bottas is one of the favourites to land one of the two new seats which will be up for grabs at the team next season, and would represent a wealth of experience with 246 race starts to his name, including 10 wins and 19 poles. And taking to the comments of Bottas' post, fans now believe an announcement could be coming soon, with one saying: "A code?" A second said: "Are you saying what I think you're saying, without saying it?" A third added: "That means what I think that means?" Another said: "Please lord, I don't ask for much!" A fifth said: "Yeah he's back for 26 isn't he lol." Bottas is, of course, known to be very cheeky with his social media activity, so the tease should be taken with a pinch of salt for the time being. Besides, he is facing stiff competition from the likes of Sergio Perez, who was axed by Red Bull in 2024. Motorsport icon and ex-F1 world champion Mario Andretti - one of the directors of the new team - has already confirmed the team were looking at the Mexican driver to take one of the seats. Speaking to Fox Sports in May, he said: "All I can tell you is that he's [Perez] certainly one of the drivers that's being considered. He has to be. "I cannot divulge as to where we are with any commitment whatsoever — I think we want to keep that luxury to ourselves until we feel that we have scanned the entire spectrum of availability. I think that's a prudent thing to do." Other drivers who have been linked include Mick Schumacher, Zhou Guanyu, Alex Palou, and Colton Herta. The next F1 race will commence in Austria next weekend off the back of a double Mercedes podium in Canada, which saw George Russell take the win ahead of Max Verstappen and rookie team-mate Kimi Antonelli.

The lifelike ceremony - complete with white chairs, a giant cake, musicians and the castle - was reportedly attended by the girl's family and a large crowd at dawn on Sunday. Police arrested the man, along with the girl's 41-year-old mum, who is believed to be Ukrainian. The "groom" told cops the ceremony was meant to create a video for social media. Organisers had booked the space for $130,000 (£111,000), claiming it was for a genuine wedding ceremony, according to French network BFM TV. Footage obtained by the network showed around 100 seated guests awaiting the ceremony, as a female violin trio played before a flower-strewn stage. A statement was issued by the prosecutor's office in the town of Meaux, saying: "Four people were arrested and questioned: the groom, who was believed to be the organiser of the event and is presumed to be British and aged 22; the mother of the child, a 41-year-old Ukrainian woman; and two Latvian nationals aged 55 and 24." Meanwhile, the "guests" were recruited online through ads looking for 200 adults and 100 children - aged five to 15 - to take part in a wedding "rehearsal" at Disneyland. The extras said they had been driven from central Paris on buses at 5am and had been handed pink bracelets bearing the names of the "bride and groom". Huge fire in Paris sends black smoke across city of light as fire crews scramble to extinguish blaze They were told the filming was strictly confidential, BFM TV reports. The prosecutor's statement added "police custody of the British suspect and a Latvian national was also extended on charges of fraud and money laundering". Disneyland Paris was reportedly deceived about the nature of the event. The organiser is said to have assumed the "identity of a Latvian national", using "false documents to secure the conclusion of the contract for privatising the park", BFM TV reports. Disneyland Paris told French newspaper Le Parisien that the event was immediately shut down by its team and that guests were stopped from entering the premises. A criminal investigation has opened, according to the prosecutor's office. It added the young girl has not suffered any violence, as per a medical examination. Officials say they are unsure about the nature of the event, including whether this was a prank. The Brit "groom" claimed that he was the director of a production company and they were shooting a video, a police source told Le Parisien. A witness who claimed to have been a wedding guest told the newspaper: "We all thought we were going to attend a wedding... "Everyone was stunned, no one expected it. Disneyland did things very well. "They cancelled everything as soon as they realized the bride was a child. We were shocked to see that." Another witness, named Yeleen, who attended the ceremony as a guest with her daughter, said: "I saw a little girl dressed in white. The prosecutor's office said: "So it wasn't a wedding, but a staged wedding filmed with around a hundred extras. "They privatized Disneyland Paris, pretending it was a real wedding." The two suspects are being questioned over "fraud and breach of trust" against Disneyland Paris, the prosecutor's office said. They are set to appear before a judge at Meaux judicial court on Monday as part of a formal judicial investigation. In 2019, Michael Jackson reportedly exchanged rings with a nine-year-old child "bride" in a creepy mock wedding ceremony at the Neverland Ranch, court documents claim. A lawsuit filed on behalf of accuser James Safechuck claims his father was then paid $1million hush money after the secret union at his Californian mansion.
