Is all their talent enough to be the best unit, though?
That is the question that NFL.com's Gennaro Filice tackled this week. The analyst believes the Bills are the best offense in the NFL entering the 2025 season despite a glaring flaw.
"Now, the weaponry beyond Pro Bowl running back James Cook and freshly paid receiver Khalil Shakir still leaves something to be desired, but I anticipate growth from second-year wideout Keon Coleman and third-year tight end Dalton Kincaid," Filice said. "And let's be honest: The 6-foot-5, 237-pound signal-caller (Josh Allen) can operate as a one-man army, making NFL men look like boys in his midst."
Buffalo does not have a top-notch receiving target. That much is clear. However, their collection of wideouts, coupled with a league MVP at quarterback, means the need for a No. 1 receiver may not be as prevalent as on other teams.

Very few teams in the league have an offensive line that is as consistent as the Bills'.
When it all gets added together, Buffalo's offense is easily one of the best in the league.
What's next?
The Bills must kick off the 2025 season with some dominant performances to land as the top overall group.
If they can do that and come away with a few wins against some of the other true contenders, their claim as the best offense in football will be hard to argue with.

There's still a chance that Samuel can be a dependable receiving threat for the Commanders. He has a young star in Jayden Daniels throwing him the football. But hits take their toll in the NFL. Samuel isn't the same player he once was, and that could lead some to believe that he is more of a gamble than Washington realizes. During an appearance on "Pardon My Take," Florio clarified all this by saying it's something that might not actually be happening. 'Allow me to weave my fan fiction. Belichick's consigliere Mike Lombardi, who is basically his unofficial mouthpiece, has been very quiet since all of the [Belichick's girlfriend] Jordon Hudson stuff hit the fan," Florio said. "Lombardi wouldn't shut up until this Hudson stuff happens, and now you can't find him anywhere. But he was putting out this idea that Todd Bowles would retire, possibly after the 2024 season. ... So I feel like Belichick has been eyeballing the Bucs. Maybe Lombardi was trying to speak it into existence that there'd be a vacancy there, because that's one of the teams where they've got the talent Belichick needs." Bowles isn't going anywhere unless he's fired, and while Belichick probably has an interest in a return to the NFL, we saw how interested other teams are in having him last offseason when he had zero offers.
