The post Nicki Minaj disses Shannon Sharpe on 'Made In NO' remix appeared first on ClutchPoints.
Nicki Minaj's remix of Lil Wayne's 'Banned From NO' from his Carter VI album featured some interesting lyrics addressing Shannon Sharpe. Sharpe has been a permanent fixture in the news for the past few months and it's clear that Minaj has been paying attention as she said, 'If I send a pic of Shannon, you ain't that sharp.'
Minaj took to her X account after the song was released to bring even more attention to the diss, playfully trolling both Sharpe and his Nightcap co-host Chad Ochocinco, saying:
'If I send a pic of Shannon, you ain't that sharp!!!!
Yeah ****** you thought I forgot that 'Nicki who' *** you did? 🤣😩🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO j/k 😐
Ochocinco almost caught a strizzy just by being around yo crazy tail self 🤣😩🤣😩🤣

While Shannon Sharpe has been ubiquitous for his viral interviews and his sports take, he has been embroiled in controversy as he was hit with a $50 million sexual assault lawsuit in April. The 13-page lawsuit was filed by a 'Jane Doe' in Nevada, alleging Sharpe had committed assault, sexual assault, battery, and sexual battery, and that he engaged in the intentional infliction of emotional distress.
The lawsuit states that she and Sharpe started a relationship in 2023 after meeting at a gym in Los Angeles. She claims Sharpe relentlessly pursued her, repeatedly calling, texting, and 'demanding she come to his Beverly Glen mansion.' The relationship is described in the suit as abusive and controlling.
The complaint alleges that Sharpe recorded their sexual activities, something without her knowledge, and that he was sharing the videos with others without her permission or knowledge. The suit also alleges that Sharpe threatened to kill her after she attempted to share her location on her iPhone with her friends.
On April 24th, Sharpe stepped away from his ESPN duties while also defending his innocence. His statement read:
'My statement is found here and this is the truth. The relationship in question was 100% consensual. At this juncture I am electing to step aside temporarily from my ESPN duties.
I will be devoting this time to my family, and responding and dealing with these false and disruptive allegations set against me. I plan to return to ESPN at the start of the NFL preseason.
I sincerely appreciate the overwhelming and ongoing support I have received from my family, fans, friends and colleagues.
Shannon Sharpe'
ESPN also released a statement about Sharpe's temporary departure from his role with the company, stating, 'This is a serious situation, and we agree with Shannon's decision to step away.'

Steelers' Will Howard says learning from Aaron Rodgers is 'invaluable'

There seems to be one thing that everyone knows about Aaron Rodgers – that we know nothing at all. To many in the media, the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback is a thorn in their side. To fans, he's the guy that won't walk away from the game even when they think he should. To others, he's just a great quarterback that is one of the best to ever play. Despite those differing views, teammates seem to love playing with Rodgers. The New York Jets gushed over the quarterback's presence on HBO's "Hard Knocks" and throughout his two seasons in the Big Apple. Quinnen Williams expressed frustration when the Jets released Rodgers, saying, "another rebuild year for me I guess," in a since deleted post on X. Williams' misfortune is to Will Howard's benefit, however. The rookie quarterback spoke glowingly about Rodgers' presence at Steelers mandatory minicamp in an interview with the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's Brian Batko. "He's been so awesome to me so far,' Howard said. "Obviously we've only gotten to be together for about three days, but I got a really good feeling about him and about this whole QB room. I think we already in this past week meshed really well, hit it off. I think we got a good vibe, good group." Howard added that Rodgers has been willing to help him in any way he can – something the 41-year-old had previously done for Jordan Love in Green Bay and Zach Wilson in New York. "Aaron has been so willing to help me," Howard said. "He's like, 'Literally, as much or as little as you want me to help you, I'll be there.' He's already given me tips, little things here and there – in the meeting room, on the field, in my drops, different little things. Obviously I can't do the things that he can do mechanically, so I don't want to replicate that too much because that's pretty unique. But, for the most part, everything I can learn from that guy is invaluable. So I'm like, dude, as much as you want to pour into me." While Howard won't win the starting job in training camp, he's eager to soak up as much knowledge as possible from the four-time NFL MVP in what could be his final season. Rodgers kept the league in the dark for most of the offseason, seemingly on the edge between playing or retiring before ultimately signing with the Steelers prior to mandatory minicamp. The quarterback previously noted that he was dealing with some personal things throughout the offseason, leading to his absence from the public eye and an NFL roster. It seems things have gotten off to a good start for those inside the building, even if some fans aren't as excited. Regardless, Howard is one that believes Rodgers is a pleasure to have in class. Peyton Manning credits Jalen Hurts for talking him out of QB rankings discussions

Peyton Manning won't be entertaining QB rankings discussions following a year-old conversation with Jalen Hurts One day, when we're all old and grey, we'll have quite a few stories to tell the grandchildren about great quarterback play. Who knows? Maybe we'll discuss Jalen Hurts with them. Maybe we can, at that time, discuss several Super Bowls he won with the Philadelphia Eagles. It's hard to imagine an NFL career getting off to a more fiery start, unless, of course, we could travel back in time and fix the field at Super Bowl 57. By raising the Vince Lombardi Trophy last February, Jalen made waves by losing his first Super Bowl and getting back to win another one. It isn't something we have seen happen very often. Shout out to John Elway! But, it's Hurts' time now. He's one of the young offensive signal-callers filling a void few thought could be filled, a mammoth-sized hole left by Tom Brady and Peyton Manning. Speaking of Peyton Manning... Peyton Manning jokes that Jalen Hurts may have talked him out of the QB rankings business Here's a funny story for those looking for a chuckle. While hanging out at Fanatics Fest in NYC, Peyton joked that he wouldn't be offering a 2025 version of the top five NFL quarterbacks list he shared last season. Last year, when he did the same, he received a call from Jalen Hurts about 20 minutes later asking Manning why the Eagles' quarterback was omitted. There has seemingly been no word about whether or not Jalen and Peyton's conversation added any more fuel for his quest to win Super Bowl 59 last season. Still, based on everything we have learned about Hurts up to this point, we're going to assume it did. We'd also like to thank Manning for any additional comments that he might make about the Eagles' gunslinger in the future. At this point, praise, criticism, oversights, backhanded compliments, and disrespect are all welcome. Oh, and by the way. Did you catch that? Who knew that Hurts had Manning on speed dial and that these two were so friendly? Alabama and Tennessee quarterbacks are hanging out now. Who would have ever guessed?
