Some Dubai flights delayed or cancelled due to regional airspace closures

Dubai Airports has confirmed that some flights from Dubai International (DXB) and Dubai World Central (DWC) have been delayed or cancelled following the temporary closure of airspace over Iran, Iraq, Jordan, and Syria in the early hours of Thursday, June 13.
While the situation is being monitored closely, passengers are being advised to allow extra time when travelling to the airport and to check directly with their airline for the latest flight updates and rebooking options.
Dubai Airports has assured travellers that it is working with airlines and service partners to minimise disruption, with guest ambassador teams on the ground to assist.

Earlier this week, it was announced that parking fees at Dubai International Airport (DXB) would be reduced over the summer.
Starting from June 10 to 30, 2025, you can nab yourself a discount on parking spots at Terminal 1 Car Park B, Terminal 2, and Terminal 3.
New parking rates at Terminals 1, 2, and 3 are as follows:
3 days: Dhs100 7 days: Dhs200
14 days: Dhs300

Serco secures $134.8mn contract extension with Dubai Airports

The 96 million visitors expected to go through Dubai Airports this year, and many more in the future, can expect the same level of guest experience that has made it one of the most popular airports in the world, after Serco said it has been granted a significant contract extension to its contract. The new five-year contract with Dubai Airports is valued at AED 495 million (US$134.8 million) and runs until December 2030. The British company, which is listed on the London Stock Exchange, has over 75 years of experience in the region's aviation sector and continues to support airports across the region with guest experience, air navigation services, emergency services, training, facilities and asset management. This follows a longstanding guest experience partnership of over six years. Serco was awarded an initial five-year term and a one-year extension.
