Kuwaiti initiative to support Abu al-Saad receives reaction

The initiative of Kuwaiti businessman Abdullah Al-Dabbous received widespread interaction on social media platforms after he offered a job to Moroccan engineer Ibtihal Abu Al-Saad, who was fired from the American company Microsoft for expressing her solidarity with the victims of the genocide in Gaza.
Al-Dabbous wrote on the X platform, "We tried to contact engineer Ibtihal Abu Al-Saad to make a job offer, but we found that her LinkedIn account had been deleted."
He added sarcastically, "This is not surprising, as LinkedIn is owned by Microsoft."
Activists considered this initiative "a noble stance that reflects Arab chivalry and a practical vindication of the efforts to silence voices supporting Palestine."
Others emphasized that "this is not strange for Kuwait, which has always expressed its unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and stood by all who champion the truth and defend justice."
Former Kuwaiti MP Osama Al-Shaheen commented, saying, "A noble Muslim businessman from dear Kuwait. Salute to your generous initiative towards a worthy cause and a courageous heroine."
In the same context, organizational development expert Muhammad Tahami said, "The resignation of engineer Ibtihal was not just news, but a glimmer of human dignity that broke through the wall of silence in a digital world steeped in cold calculations."
He added to Quds Press on Wednesday, "She was fired because she spoke the truth and stood with Palestine. Not only did she lose her job, but she paid the price for her moral stance."
A video clip has gone viral showing Microsoft employee Abu Al-Saad interrupting a speech by the company's CEO of Artificial Intelligence, Mustafa Suleiman, during the company's 50th anniversary celebration.
In an unexpected moment, Ibtihal explicitly protested Microsoft's support for the Israeli occupation army in its aggression against the Gaza Strip, accusing Suleiman of complicity in this war.

Hezbollah was once considered Iran's first line of defence against Israeli attacks, but strikes against the group last year killed its political and military leaders and largely destroyed its arsenal. Lebanese officials have urged Hezbollah not to respond to Israeli attacks on Iran. President Al-Mashat: We will work to prevent any participation in aggression against Iran by all legitimate means
Sana'a - (Saba): His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council, confirmed that he will "direct the Foreign Ministry to send a memorandum to notify the United Nations of our observations of preparations and readiness by some member states to participate with the Israeli entity in its aggression against Iran." President Al-Mashat said in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), "We will work to prevent any participation in the aggression against Iran by all legitimate means." He called on all Arab, Islamic, and peace-loving countries to make the same decision instead of waiting for us to target one country after another. He added, "We have every right to our decision, humanitarian, religious, and moral, and it is supported by international and regional conventions and Yemeni laws." President Al-Mashat pointed out that when countries abandon their responsibility to protect international peace and security and become supporters and accomplices of the aggressor in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, and Iran, the solution lies in a strong and unified stance from all. He said, "The fire will reach every country if we do not all take action and stop the scheme of the arrogant powers to violate it." He pointed out that "any hostile act targeting any Islamic country will be opposed and confronted by us. This is our position, and we have previously announced it." His Excellency the President reiterated that America will not achieve anything new if it participates with the Israeli enemy entity in its aggression against Iran, except for its further involvement, and everyone will see that. 'Palestinian Ahrar Movement: What is happening in West Bank, Quds is full-fledged war crime'
Gaza – SABA: The Palestinian Ahrar Movement stated on Saturday that 'the crimes of settlers in the West Bank and Quds are a continuation of the extermination-based Judaization policy adopted by the extremist occupation government,' stressing that 'the attacks, which coincide with a suspicious escalation in settlement activity and expansion in the occupied West Bank and Qud, are part of a de facto implementation of annexation and silent displacement plans without an official declaration.' In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the movement said: 'What is happening in the cities and camps of the West Bank and Jerusalem — including the complete closure imposed by the Nazi Zionist occupation, alongside the ongoing genocide and ethnic cleansing in Gaza — is a clear attempt to erase Palestinian identity, break the will of our people, and forcibly displace them. The occupation is tightening its grip on our people in the West Bank and Jerusalem through all possible means, including restricting their movement between villages, especially in Jenin and Tulkarm camps, and closing the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque to worshippers. This is aimed at forcing our people to leave their homeland, and it constitutes a full-fledged war crime under international humanitarian law.' The movement emphasized that 'the attacks by extremist settlers will not deter our people from clinging to their land and rights.
