Rarely-Seen '80s Pop Star and Actress, 66, Thrills Fans With Recent Appearance
Rarely-Seen '80s Pop Star and Actress, 66, Thrills Fans With Recent Appearance originally appeared on Parade.
It's been nearly 40 years since her hit single, "Two of Hearts," shot to the top of the charts — but fans still haven't forgotten about Stacey Q.
The former pop star, who also played the fan-favorite character Cinnamon on two episodes of The Facts of Life, made an appearance at The Hollywood Show pop culture convention in Los Angeles this weekend where she thrilled onlookers with a performance of "Two of Hearts."
In a clip shared to TikTok, the 66-year-old singer wore a shiny black vinyl jacket over a sparkly crop top and a short, shimmery skirt as she belted out the iconic tune. Her blonde hair was cut in a bob with bangs — a major switch from the heavily hairsprayed style she was known for back in the '80s.
Fans loved seeing the star back in action.
"Stacy Q a blast from the past! pretty cool," gushed one person in the comments, with another calling the singer "amazing."
"This would be fun," agreed another wistful viewer.
In a 2018 interview with Rediscover the '80s, Stacey — who started her career after as a performer with Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus — reminisced about getting the call to appear on The Facts of Life.
"The writers of The Facts of Life called my record company and inquired about my availability," she recalled.
"Since my life then was being Stacey Q, I ran out to Hollywood like my hair was on fire," the singer continued. "The reception I received right away was that the last thing this show needs is another female. I couldn't have agreed more. I had never heard the theme song. They were mortified. Danny [Medellin] overheard one of them in make-up say, 'She is just the type you wanna hate but you can't because she's so nice.' Bless her, whichever one it was. I know which two it wasn't. If it wasn't for the great and glorious importance of ratings during sweeps week, you never would have heard of Cinnamon...or George Clooney...yet."Rarely-Seen '80s Pop Star and Actress, 66, Thrills Fans With Recent Appearance first appeared on Parade on Jun 9, 2025

Bride-to-Be Goes Viral for Warning That Getting Married Past 28 Changes Bachelorette Party ‘Vibes' (Exclusive)
After taking part in three of her friends' bachelorette parties, Miriah Hadley had been eagerly awaiting her own However, in a recent TikTok video, the 29-year-old warned that getting married after 28 can seriously affect the 'vibe' of a bachelorette party Now, Hadley is making sure her celebration is something all of her friends can enjoy - no matter what phase in life they are inWhen it comes to weddings, timing can be everything – at least according to one woman who believes getting married past a certain age comes with unexpected downsides. Miriah Hadley, a 29-year-old from Dallas, Texas, is currently in the process of planning her own wedding, and took to TikTok to reflect on how much 'fun' her friends' bachelorette parties were a few years earlier. Back then, everyone was on the same page: no babies, no dietary restrictions, no 10 p.m. curfews. But now, with some friends pregnant, others already mothers, and a few living alcohol-free, Hadley is realizing that her own celebration will have to strike a different tone. 'I originally envisioned my bachelorette party in the wine country of Texas – something light and fun, where we'd hop between wineries, enjoy good wine, laugh a lot, and just celebrate together,' Hadley tells PEOPLE exclusively. 'It felt like the perfect mix of relaxation and celebration.' Since getting engaged in February 2025, the soon-to-be-bride is planning on having her bachelorette party in October, followed by her wedding on New Years Eve. Used to lively activities such as boat rides, loud music, nonstop dancing and drinks at previous bachelorette parties she's attended, Hadley was eagerly looking forward to her own girls' celebration. However, since most of her friends tied the knot between ages 25 and 28, her bachelorette will most likely look very different. 'One of the more challenging aspects of getting married past 28 – especially being from the South, where many of my peers are already married, settled down, and starting families – is feeling a bit out of sync with your social circle,' she explains. Most of Hadley's close friends have been married for a few years and are either starting to plan for a family or already have children, making late-night outings, casual drinks, or even regular meetups increasingly difficult to coordinate. Never miss a story — sign up for to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. 'As things started coming together, I realized that about five out of my eight bridesmaids may not be able to drink either due to the fact that they will be pregnant or other personal reasons. And I'll be honest—it gave me a bit of a 'what's the point?' moment,' she admits. 'Not because I think alcohol is necessary for a good time, but because the original vision just doesn't align anymore.' Nevertheless, Hadley has chosen to take a positive approach to the situation. She's come to realize that the true purpose of a bachelorette party isn't about the event itself, but about being surrounded by friends who love and respect her. 'I'm grateful that I have amazing, lifelong friends that I know will show up and support me regardless,' she shares. 'I'm now shifting my mindset to focus on how we can still have a great experience that fits everyone. At the end of the day, it's about creating memories and celebrating love, not sticking to a script.' What she is most excited about is the energy – simply spending time with her friends, letting loose, dancing, and creating those "remember when" moments they'll laugh about for years to come. Hadley intends to keep the bachelorette party fun and inclusive by planning a mix of shared experiences like a private chef dinner, a playful lingerie party, and a relaxing spa day. She's also considering sticking with the original wine tour by choosing wineries that offer mocktails and non-alcoholic options so no one feels left out. 'It's not about comparison or regret, but it does require a shift in how you manage friendships and find community,' Hadley tells PEOPLE. 'At the same time, I've learned to really value this season for what it offers – new beginnings, clarity, and learning how to support friends in different phases of life.' Reviewers are stunned by how effective it is and how long it lasts, especially at such a low price point. This delightfully affordable, super effective serum helps hydrate and protect your skin barrier so you wake up with firm, refreshed skin. Eos' Cashmere Skin Collection Shave Oil — yes, that's right, the astronomically TikTok-famous Eos "cashmere" body lotion now comes in shave oil form, so you can lock in that ridiculously compelling whipped vanilla, musk, and soft caramel scent *and* protect your skin from razor burn. Reviewers are notably impressed by how close of a shave they can get with this, particularly in sensitive areas! A "flossing toothbrush" with two layers of bristles — regular firm bristles, and longer ones that are 10 times thinner to clean deep in between your teeth and gums to mimic flossing. Reviewers love how deep the clean feels, and also how soft it is on sensitive teeth! Mielle's Rosemary Mint strengthening oil, a reviewer-beloved, TikTok-famous beauty prod that lives up to the hype — this is infused with biotin so it doesn't just strengthen hair, but helps encourage growth. Reviewers also love that it's truly ~~invisible~~ and acts as a lovely primer for makeup (and is easy to reapply on top of it!). It's also sensitive-skin friendly, with reviewers on tretinoin swearing by it for extra protection. Did someone say ... HOLY GRAIL?? Color Wow's "Raise The Root" thickening and lifting spray gives your hair some instant ~~VAVOOM~~, no teasing or heat styling gymnastics required. Medicube Deep Vitamin C Golden Capsule Face Moisturizer, a K-beauty staple that's almost a little *too* fun to use — it comes with liposome capsules you can pop on your skin, helping oxidize, brighten, and smooth your complexion with the added burst of concentrated vitamin C and niacinamide. This is designed to have both instant *and* lasting results, with many reviewers noting an immediate difference in skin's radiance after the first use! A set of super affordable hydrocolloid nose pore patches (compare to the $16 Mighty Patch equivalent) that will make you go "boy HOWDY" when you see how much gunk collects on them overnight. Reviewers swear by these for gently lifting out sebum from pores and pimples and minimizing their appearance! Londontown "Nail Veil" Protectant, which is designed not only to protect your nails, but to act as a sheer tint to enhance their natural look. It's basically "no makeup makeup," but for your fingernails. E.l.f's Lash XTNDR Tubing Mascara, a GODSEND for anyone with thin or fragile lashes. This uses lightweight ~tubing~ technology to wrap around lashes and give them a natural-looking, smudge-proof extension so good it almost looks fake. The real boon, though, is how easily the "tubes" slide off in clean, easy swipes at the end of the day when you're washing your face — absolutely no smudging, over-scrubbing, or special eye makeup removal products required. Medicube Turmeric Overnight Wrapping Peel Off Mask, which has already made itself a TikTok sensation — unsurprising, since the K-Beauty brand Medicube knocks it out of the park again and again. This mask goes on before bed and uses hydrolyzed collagen, vitamin C, and turmeric to help even out skin tone and improve elasticity. MagicMinerals AirBrush Foundation, which lives up to its name and THEN some — one quick spray of the foundation on the included brush, and it glides so smoothly and subtly over your skin texture that you'll feel like a makeup artist did it for you. Reviewers in their thirties, forties, and up especially swear by this lightweight but effective formula, and love that it's ridiculously easy to use. First Aid Beauty's Facial Radiance Pads, a set of compostable (!!) beauty prep pads you can use before putting on makeup to gently tone and exfoliate your skin, making it the ultimate primer for getting the most out of your foundation. Bonus — unlike a lot of toning products, these are super gentle and sensitive skin–friendly! Essence Loose Setting Powder Trio for three handy products for less than $5 — it's sectioned into different powders for brightening, color-correcting, and mattifying, so you can mix and match the shades to personalize your coverage based on your skin's needs. Jergens Natural Glow Firming Self Tanner Body Lotion gives you a gradually-building, vacation-worthy ~sunkissed glow~ over the course of just a few days. Not only is this easy peasy to apply compared to other finickier, streaking lotions, but it's formulated with collagen and elastin to help your skin appear firmer *and* glowier. Dae's Hair Cactus Fruit 3-In-1 Styling Cream & Taming Wand, which is basically the brand's "holy grail," TikTok-famous styling cream in the form of a mascara wand. This versatile lil' tool helps you carefully target flyaways, style edges, and smooth frizz. The Face Shop's Rice Water Bright Foaming Facial Cleanser, a gentle, cult-fave Korean beauty product reviewers swear by as an alternative to the pricey Tatcha Rice Wash. This hydrating cleanser removes waterproof makeup and sunscreen with ease, has an ohhhh-so-satisfying lather, and leaves skin moisturized after use. A pack of cult-favorite Clean Skin Club Clean Towels — these ultra-soft, chemical-free disposable towels are ideal for drying your face or pairing with a makeup remover or face wash to gently remove makeup at the end of the day. A lot of folks with sensitive skin *swear* by these, particularly because it helps prevent exposing their skin to bacteria that may collect in ordinary reusable towels. E.l.f. Glow Reviver Melting Lip Balm for all the ultra fans of Summer Fridays, Rhode, and Laneige whose bank accounts are begging them to put a stop to the lippie madness. These new deliciously tinted, moisturizing, buildable glosses are just as buttery and decadent as the balms that inspired them, for a fraction of the price. (Brb, drowning myself in the "Strawberry Shortcake" and "Vanilla Toffee" flavors.)

Will There Be a Season 3 of ‘America's Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders?'
Season 1 of America's Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders first graced the screen in June 2024, and the docuseries became a huge hit for Netflix. The second season debuted this month on June 18, and fans already want more. Here's what we know about season 3 of America's Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Netflix has not officially announced a season 3, but the team has been teasing the audition process for the coming year. They even shared a finalized roster of 36 cheerleaders this June for training camp 2025, and a clip featuring guest judge, Kacey Musgraves—who would be a huge get for a new season. Each season is an examination of the young women auditioning to perform on the cheerleading team for the Dallas Cowboys, following those who make it to training camp as they grow and develop their skills. Season 2 followed both the rookies and the seasoned veterans who will ultimately find their place in one of the 36 spots on the official squad. Training camp is led by DCC director Kelli Finglass and head choreographer Judy Trammell, who will most likely be back. Musgraves seems to be involved in some capacity, and some girls will be returning from past seasons. The team also shared their 'rookie roundup.' Fan favorite Dayton might make an appearance, though this fan-made TikTok explains she did not make the final round. If the show is definitely continuing, it seems likely that it would be released next summer, since season 1 and 2 both came out in June, one year apart. This post will be updated.
