How Miley Cyrus Feels About Billy Ray Cyrus Dating Elizabeth Hurley

has broken her silence about her dad's new relationship.
After confirming she is no longer estranged from Billy Ray Cyrus following more than a year of family feud rumors, the "Flowers" singer shared her thoughts on his blossoming romance with Elizabeth Hurley, as well as her mom Tish Cyrus' almost two-year marriage to Prison Break's Dominic Purcell.
"Now that my mom is so in love with my stepdad, who I completely adore, and now that my dad, I see him finding happiness, too—I can love them both as individuals instead of as a parental pairing," Miley told The New York Times in an interview published May 31. "I'm being an adult about it."
The 32-year-old continued, "At first it's hard, because the little kid in you reacts before the adult in you can go, 'Yes, that's your dad, but that's just another person that deserves to be in his bliss and to be happy.' My child self has caught up."

Miley's interview was published about a week after Billy Ray and Elizabeth made their red carpet debut as a couple. The "Achy Breaky Heart" singer, 63, and Austin Powers actress, 59, were joined by her son Damian Hurley, 23, at the Orizzonti | Rosso exhibition opening dinner at Palazzo Barberini in Rome, Italy May 24.
The couple went public with their relationship in April on Easter Sunday, three years after they filmed the movie Christmas in Paradise together and eight months after Billy Ray finalized his divorce from Firerose.
He and Elizabeth made their surprise announcement with a joint Instagram post showing the Hannah Montana alum kissing the actress as the two lean against a wooden fence at what appears to be his Tennessee farm.
Weeks later, Billy Ray shared a rare photo with Miley—plus her boyfriend Maxx Morando and brother Braison Cyrus—that appeared to have been taken there as well, confirming the two had reunited following their rift.
"My dad and I have had our challenges over the year," Miley wrote on her Instagram Stories May 10., one day later "Now, in my thirties, family is my priority above all else. I'm at peace knowing bridges have been built and time has done a lot of healing. Grateful for the good health and love that flows through my family."
On Mother's Day, Billy Ray noted he and Miley were "so close to a full healing."
'We have all been through a lot," he wrote on Instagram May 11. "On this Mother's Day I would like to testify to a couple facts. 1) I still very much believe in the power of prayer and respectfully ask if you do also ... and have an extra prayer for the CYRUS Family... I humbly would accept."

'Selling Sunset' Chrishell Stause Talks 'Last Attempt' At IVF Amid Infertility Struggles: 'If It's Meant To Be'

The "Selling Sunset" star revealed that she recently resumed her in vitro fertilization journey after past failed attempts that left her heartbroken. Stause, who lost her beloved pet dog months ago, confessed that she and G-Flip might consider other options if this IVF round fails. In an Instagram Story update, the reality star informed fans she is now receiving IVF treatment. She shared a snap of pills and an injection alongside a candid message about her bittersweet feelings. "Back on the IVF hell train. I think this may be my last attempt," she explained. "There are other alternatives, but this route needed to be tried first bc of timing." The realtor continued, "So if it's meant to be, it will be. If not, pivot. Stause, however, didn't go into details about her other options. Concluding the post, she expressed her appreciation to fans for their support. "Live footage of me reading all the beautiful supportive messages on the last slide, THANK YOU," she wrote alongside a still image of a character from the show "Twin Peaks." Stause's Instagram Stories update comes after she and G-Flip got candid about their infertility struggles. The couple, who have been married for almost two years, have always wanted a family. In a joint interview, the pair admitted the journey to becoming parents has been difficult, mainly because they are queer: "We're in a situation where it's not easy to have kids. It's not like we can have one naturally. There are so many steps, there's so much planning, there are so many complications and things that can go wrong." G-Flip seconded the sentiment, telling US Weekly that conceiving a child has "been very stressful" on their marriage. The Australian singer added, "Queer couples having kids, things not going your way, it's been pretty sad at times." However, the disappointment isn't making them give up. "We're still on that road, and we've had a few setbacks. But we're just navigating and going through the process," Stause added. Although the lovebirds are now on the same page about children. It wasn't always that way. The Netflix star knew she wanted to be a mother from the start, but the "About You" songstress had doubts. "When we met, I was ready, and G wasn't," Stause told the publication. The lovebirds met in 2021 shortly after Stause ended things with her "Selling Sunset" co-star Jason Oppenheim because he didn't want children. Luckily, the lovebirds were able to overcome the "hurdle", and G Flip changed their mind. Ever since, Stause says she has received nothing but support from her wife. "This is the first time I feel really confident going through this journey," she said before praising Melbourne producer for their parenting skills. Stause noted that G-Flip is naturally good with kids, and it is something she always loved. When G-Flip and Stause eventually become parents, they plan to raise their children in the singer's hometown of Australia. The "All My Children" alum called the country a "beautiful place" to raise a family. As for why she thinks so, Stause noted that the nation's politics, health care, and school systems are favorable. It also helps that her wife's family is there. "There's not a lot of bullying culture there," she added. However, the major concern for the 43-year-old is how America has become less progressive in recent times. "America's going backward and Australia is becoming more progressive," she candidly explained. Australia feels a little bit more like a good decision as opposed to every headline we see here lately." Back in March, Stause made headlines following the painful loss of her terrier mix, Gracie. The late pet, who often featured on "Selling Sunset," was adopted in 2016. She paid a tear-jerking tribute to her furry loved one, recalling fond memories they shared. "Our beloved Gracie left us peacefully today," she wrote. "Thank you to anyone that was a friend to her and helped make her life here better. It's impossible to post a fraction of the joy this angel brought me." In honor of Gracie, the realtor encouraged fans to adopt from the Burbank Animal Shelter, where she was gotten. "if you tell them Gracie's name, all adoption fees will be covered," Stause added.

We were disappointed when the Cannes lineup came out and Jim Jarmusch's next film was not on it. But it seems like we just had to wait a little longer. Efe Cakarel, the CEO of MUBI, which is distributing Jarmusch's next movie, told a crowd at SXSW London that Jarmusch's 'Father Mother Sister Brother' will premiere at the Venice Film Festival in the main competition. Venice won't announce its lineup for some time, but it's an exciting get for the festival and could be the first of several high profile contenders on the Biennale. Benny Safdie's 'The Smashing Machine' from A24 has been rumored, as has Chloé Zhao's 'Hamnet.' You could also keep a lookout for 'After the Hunt' from Luca Guadagnino, 'Bugonia' from Yorgos Lanthimos, 'Sacrifice' from Romain Gavras, or 'Anemone' from Ronan Day-Lewis, just to name a few possible options. 'Father Mother Sister Brother' is a triptych film from the indie auteur, with each part of the story being set in a different country and following adult children and their estranged parents reconnecting. It stars Cate Blanchett, Adam Driver, Vicky Krieps, Mayim Bialik, Charlotte Rampling, Indya Moore, and Tom Waits. Part one, 'Father,' is set in the Northeastern U.S., 'Mother' is in Dublin, and 'Sister Brother' is in Paris. Just about all of Jarmusch's recent movies have premiered at Cannes, so it was quite the surprise when he didn't make the cut. The last time he took a film to Venice was in 2003 for 'Coffee & Cigarettes.' His last feature was 2019's 'The Dead Don't Die,' so a new Jarmusch movie and a chance to see one of the coolest men alive on the red carpet is always a special occasion. Spike Lee recently praised Jarmusch as a key influence on his early career when Lee was in grad school, and Bill Murray said back in March that he believed his performance in Jarmusch's 'Broken Flowers' was the best of his career. Screen Talk Previews '28 Years Later' at the Box Office — and Fall Festival Hopefuls
The June 20 box office weekend looks like another blockbuster double-header with the releases of Disney/Pixar's animated family film 'Elio' and Sony's R-rated post-apocalyptic sequel '28 Years Later.' Danny Boyle's follow-up to his groundbreaking 2002 zombie classic '28 Days Later' has some of the best 2025 reviews for a franchise movie. (IndieWire's review is here.) Even if, as 'Screen Talk' co-hosts Ryan Lattanzio and Anne Thompson discuss on this week's IndieWire podcast episode, Ryan found it ultimately cloying and sentimental despite the imaginative filmmaking. Boyle (working from original '28 Days Later' scribe Alex Garland's script) shot the film entirely on the iPhone 15 Pro Max using rig technology, with the film introducing a 'poor man's bullet time' (as Boyle described to IndieWire) for some of the grisliest kills of those infected by the 'Rage' virus. The film is tracking to gross $28 million over the weekend but stands to exceed that figure. The new film was shot back-to-back with the sequel '28 Years Later: The Bone Temple,' with a third film set to star Cillian Murphy still awaiting the official green light. Also opening this week is the Pixar space adventure 'Elio.' An original is always a challenge, and this one could open soft and build, the way both 'Elemental' ($484 million worldwide) and 'Encanto' did ($230 million). It's a delightful look at a young space nut who desperately wanted aliens to find him and welcome him, and then they do! In terms of the 2025 animation slate, though, Anne preferred the less expensive Cannes offering 'Arco,' which is set in the future and was picked up by Neon. The summer box office is looking up again after disappointing outings like 'John Wick' franchise entry 'Ballerina' and 'Karate Kid: Legends.' The live-action 'How to Train Your Dragon' has grossed more than $227 million worldwide since opening June 13. In terms of story and scope, it's very close to the 2010 animated original, and singularly, it's directed by animator Dean DeBlois, who directed the animated trilogy, all nominated for Best Animated Feature. On this week's 'Screen Talk,' Anne and Ryan also look down the pike at what could play at the fall festivals, with 'Bugonia' (Yorgos Lanthimos), 'Hamnet' (Chloé Zhao), and 'After the Hunt' (Luca Guadagnino) expected to play the Venice-to-Telluride circuit. We know Jim Jarmusch's 'Father Mother Sister Brother' will play Venice. Cannes winners like 'Sirât' (Oliver Laxe) and 'Sentimental Value' (Joachim Trier) will almost certainly make a splash at Telluride.
