'Every team would want him. However, my conversation with Hakan was unrelated to transfers. A friend of mine was talking to Hakan on the phone, and I just joined the chat and wished him success. This was not a transfer meeting.'

Football Italia reported on Wednesday that Galatasaray were interested in the Turkey national team captain, although Inter have not yet received a formal offer.
Calhanoglu's Inter future remains uncertain, but if the Serie A giants were to sell their star, it would surely be for a high transfer fee.
Calhanoglu joined Inter on a free transfer from their city rivals Milan in the summer of 2021.

FC Barcelona Heavyweight Agrees Saudi Arabia Move

An FC Barcelona locker room heavyweight has agreed to head to the Saudi Pro League when his contract expires, according to local reports picked up by SPORT which cited anonymous sources. Marc-Andre ter Stegen has been linked with a move to the Middle East amid the signing of Joan Garcia. On international duty with Germany, he claimed ignorance as per being potentially sold ahead of the 2025/2026, at a time when Garcia's release clause at Espanyol still hadn't been paid. Now that's been done, and Garcia has been announced and unveiled at the Joan Gamper CT, the veteran's days between the sticks as Hansi Flick's number one are believed to be numbered. With a contract until mid-2028, however, Ter Stegen isn't obliged to go anywhere and can make things difficult for President Joan Laporta and Sporting Director Deco to get him out of the door. Robert Lewandowski's pending exit from the Catalans should be far more amicable. Turning 37 in exactly a couple of months' time, the deal he signed when joining from Bayern Munich in 2022 expires in just over a year and isn't expected to be renewed given his age. Already looking at the big picture, though, Saudi outlets such as the Al-Riyadiyah newspaper report that 'Lewa' will become one of the Pro League's marquee signings in 2026, which has been confirmed by an anonymous Gol International spokesperson. Gol International is of course the agency headed by Lewandowski's super agent Pini Zahavi, with whom Laporta shares a great working relationship that helped bring the Pole to the Camp Nou back in the famous summer of the 'economic levers'. The mentioned newspaper is clear that there have been no direct conversations between Lewandowski and Pro League representatives yet, but they are expected soon ahead of the ex-Pichichi winner joining one of its teams in 2026. Robert Lewandowski will leave FC Barcelona a modern day club legend Irrespective of what his next destination is, Lewandowski will leave FC Barcelona as a modern day club legend. With two La Liga titles, two Spanish Super Cups and a Copa del Rey to his name amid 101 goals, he could add the Champions League to that tally if Hansi Flick and his men go all the way to Budapest and then some next term.

Juventus Make £25m Move for Man Utd Winger

Italian Giants Explore Jadon Sancho Transfer Juventus have stepped up their interest in Jadon Sancho, holding initial discussions over a possible move for the Manchester United winger. The Serie A club have sounded out what a potential deal could look like, as they weigh up a formal approach during the summer transfer window. Advertisement Sancho, 24, remains on the fringes at Old Trafford following his public fallout with Erik ten Hag last season, which saw him exiled from the first team and sent out on loan to Borussia Dortmund in January. His time in Germany helped him rediscover some rhythm, but there is currently no pathway for him back into the United setup. Napoli Monitor Situation but Face Financial Hurdles Juventus are not alone in their pursuit. Napoli have also expressed interest in the England international, but any concrete move would likely require Sancho to accept a significant reduction in wages. The forward is currently one of United's top earners, with a salary package that presents a major stumbling block for interested clubs outside the Premier League. Napoli remain in contact with Sancho's representatives, keeping lines open should a compromise over personal terms become viable. However, Juventus are understood to be in a stronger financial position to meet both the player's demands and United's valuation. Manchester United Seek Permanent Solution From United's perspective, the preference is clear: they would rather offload Sancho on a permanent deal than sanction another loan move. The club are believed to be holding out for an offer in the region of £25 million – a fee that reflects both Sancho's age and the diminishing years on his contract, which expires in 2026. Advertisement There is no desire within the United hierarchy to reintegrate Sancho into the first-team squad. Instead, they view this window as a pivotal opportunity to recoup some of their investment, having signed the winger from Dortmund for £73 million in 2021. Player's Future to Be Resolved This Summer As the summer window unfolds, Sancho's future looks increasingly likely to lie away from Old Trafford. Juventus have shown concrete interest and are now in dialogue over financial frameworks and personal terms. United are willing sellers, Juventus are actively exploring the deal, and the player himself is understood to be open to a new challenge. The situation remains fluid, but movement is expected in the coming weeks. With United keen to streamline their squad and Juventus hoping to reinforce their attacking options, Sancho's next destination could well be the Allianz Stadium.
