Nothing Phone 3 US pricing tipped ahead of July release date — here's what you'll pay
Nothing is preparing to launch the Nothing Phone 3 next month and a recent leak has given us a good idea of what the pricing — and colors — of the new flagship will be.
According to leaker Roland Quandt on Bluesky, the Phone 3 will launch at $799 with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. That increases to $899 for the 16GB/512GB configuration. This pricing was shared by a second report on X (via GSMArena) that also confirmed colors will be a simple choice between black or white.
That pricing is a fair jump higher than the Nothing Phone 2's $600 launch price, but it's not as bad as it could be. It's like-for-like pricing with the £800 U.K. cost of the phone that CEO Carl Pei teased during Google I/O. Given currency fluctuations and tariff concerns, many thought the Nothing Phone 3 could arrive with a $1,000 price tag.
The Nothing Phone 3 is rumored to be the brand's attempt at a truer flagship, with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip on board that'll prioritize generative AI features, high-end gaming and photographic capabilities.
If that $799 entry price leak is accurate, the phone will be directly positioned against the Google Pixel 9 for the attention of Android users. And while a better camera and some nifty AI tricks will help it out, the rumored lack of Nothing's famous glyph interface will make it harder to stand out against Google's colorful flagship.
The Phone 3 is tipped to release in the U.S. in July, but it's not the only new Nothing product on the horizon. The company is also preparing to launch its first ever pair of over-ear headphones.
According to the leaker Arsène Lupin, the so-called "Nothing Headphone 1" will arrive on September 30 for $299. Like the Nothing Phone 3, the headphones will also be available in a choice of black or white.

Nothing will have its work cut out for it in the over-ear headphones market, but the brand's in-ear Nothing Ear 2 earbuds impressed us last year. As per the leak, the Nothing Phone 3 could come with a triple 50MP setup, including a main lens, ultrawide lens, and a 3x periscope telephoto shooter. That's a big leap from the dual-camera setup on the Phone 2, but closer to the camera setup of the Nothing Phone 3a Pro, which also features 50MP main and periscope cameras, but an 8MP ultrawide shooter. The purported 50MP selfie camera on the Phone 3 is another nice touch, beating the 32MP front shooter on the Phone 2. Gadget Bits/X The battery also seems to be getting a boost, with a rumored 5,150mAh capacity. But the real standout is the 100W wired charging, which, if the leak is accurate, would be a huge jump from the 45W speed on the Phone 2 and 50W on the 3a Pro. Wireless and reverse wireless charging are still present, as per the leak, along with eSIM and NFC support. Elsewhere, the Nothing Phone 3 is expected to ship with Nothing OS 3.5 based on Android 15, and we already know that the company is upping its software support promise to five years of Android updates and seven years of security updates, outpacing the Phone 2's support window. Even without the absolute latest chipset, the Nothing Phone 3 is shaping up to be a solid all-rounder. With upgrades to the display, cameras, charging speeds, and software support, it could be the most impressive Nothing phone to date. However, the company is replacing its signature Glyph Interface with a new Glyph Matrix system, a change that might not sit well with all fans. The phone is set to launch on July 1.

Nothing Phone 1 gets a feature-packed encore before the final curtain falls

Other additions include a Hotspot Manager, a toggle for face unlock vibration, and the June security patch. This may be one of the device's final feature updates, with no more OS upgrades coming. The Nothing Phone 1 might be nearing the end of its update life, but it's not quite done yet. A new software update is rolling out that brings one of Android 15's key features, with a specific tailoring to Nothing's UI. According to a post on the official Nothing Community forum, the update introduces Privacy space: a new secure area on your phone for sensitive apps and data. You can access it by swiping right in the app drawer, and it works much like the feature seen on other Android phones, requiring separate authentication and keeping apps isolated from the rest of the system. You can also set a different privacy password for both the new Privacy space and the existing App Locker. The update also brings a revamped Hotspot Manager for controlling connected devices, fixes an issue with the Glyph Composer lighting effect, and lets users disable face unlock vibrations via a new toggle. As expected, the June 2025 Android security patch is included, as well as other big fixes. This could be one of the last feature-rich updates for the Nothing Phone 1. Nothing previously confirmed to Android Authority that the device won't get Android 16, as it has already received its three promised OS upgrades. Security patches will continue for a bit longer, but new feature rollouts will likely start tapering off without the latest OS support.
