Nothing Phone 3 Is Coming to the US—But Not to Carriers

A close-up of the Nothing Phone's signature transparent rear, showcasing its minimalist design and dual-camera layout. The innovative Android handset Nothing Phone 3 is coming to US and Canadian shores soon via Amazon and Best Buy, respectively. As originally reported by TechCrunch and confirmed by Nothing CEO Carl Pei on X, the Nothing Phone 3 stands out in a sea of sameness. Its unique LED notifications on the back of the phone are useful and interesting to look at. Unlike many phones, though, the Nothing Phone 3 won't be at your local AT&T, Verizon, or T-Mobile shop. You'll buy the handset via Amazon or here in the states, or Best Buy up in Canada. What that implies is an unlocked phone, much like the Nothing Phone 2 was. — Nothing (@nothing) May 20, 2025 Nothing was founded in 2020 by Carl Pei, the previous co-founder of OnePlus. Its first big release was the Nothing Ear (1) a set of wireless earbuds with a distinctive see-through design. Nothing's Phone (1) came out in 2022, showing off a transparent design and a new Glyph interface that uses the rear case to notify you of calls and texts visually. The Nothing Phone 2 arrived in 2023 and took the design to a new level with an integrated theme as its interface. The 3(a) Pro continued improving design and camera features while adding AI functions, keeping the price low while doing so. While there's no new pricing info, TechCrunch notes that Pei said the Nothing Phone 3 should come in at around $1,000 US, putting it in direct competition with iPhone 16 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S25+. As Apple and Samsung (and OnePlus) continue to iterate their new phone offerings, it's interesting to see an alternative smartphone join the general US market, one that bets on its personality rather than looking like every other smartphone out there. Whether that translates to sales remains to be seen. You can sign up for updates on the Nothing Phone (3) over at the Nothing website. Originally published on Tech Times ⓒ 2024 All rights reserved. Nothing Phone (3) price and design details leak ahead of July 1 launch event

Nothing Phone (3) price and design details leak ahead of July 1 launch event The price and design details of the Nothing Phone (3) have leaked online The Nothing Phone (3) could be priced under Rs 60,000 segment It is set to skip the light setup that we have been seeing on all Nothing phones The Nothing Phone (3) is coming and it is no longer a secret. The company has confirmed that its flagship Nothing phone will launch on July 1 and while several details are still under wraps, fresh design and price details have surfaced online. It gives us a rough idea of what the upcoming Nothing phone would like. If we go by the latest leaked render, the brand is planning to announce the Nothing Phone (3) with a new design language. Here is everything we know so far. Nothing Phone (3) design leaked Tipster Max Jambor has shared a render of the Nothing Phone (3) smartphone, which shows that it doesn't have any lights at the back. This is not surprising because Nothing recently shared a short clip, saying that it killed the "Glyph Interface." This tweet made it pretty clear that the Phone (3) won't come with an LED setup which was actually the very first thing that attracted many users towards the brand for its unique as well as cool design approach. While Nothing might not carry forward its core design element to its flagship model, the semi-transparent look is still there. This is likely because the brand doesn't want its phone's identity to get lost in a sea of (similar-looking) devices available in the market. It seemingly has rounded edges and curved frames for a better grip. It is coming in the white colour model that we have been seeing on the older models. Nothing is clearly going for a subtle look to appeal to the high-end phone buyers too. I can see three cameras at the rear panel, which would be an upgrade over the two sensors seen on the Nothing Phone (2). If leaks are to be believed, the new version will feature three 50-megapixel sensors at the back - a main, an ultrawide and a telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. The exact sensor details of the same are currently unknown. Under the hood, we will likely see the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip because Nothing is pitching the Phone (3) as its flagship phone. Nothing Phone (3) price details leaked Interestingly, the price details of the device have surfaced online several times for different markets. This time, it is for the US market. Leaker @MysteryLupin claims to have obtained the prices, with the base 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model said to cost $799 (about Rs 68,320). This is basically a $100 (around Rs 5,560) price hike compared to the same variant of the Nothing Phone 2. In Europe, it was reported that the Phone (3) could cost around Rs 90,000. Of course, the India price was not expected to be this high and in fact, the price could be less than the US market. How? The Nothing Phone (2) was launched in India at Rs 44,999, which is around $525 in the US currency after conversion. This suggests that Nothing phones are selling at a cheaper in the Indian market. India is one of the key markets for Nothing and people here are more price-conscious, so the prices have been kept low to attract buyers, likely because Nothing is still a fairly new brand. If it doesn't price its phone aggressively, it would be a little tough for the brand to survive. So, if the Nothing Phone (3) is set to cost around Rs 68,000 in the US, it could be made available in India under Rs 60,000 segment. How? There was a gap of Rs 14,800 in the US and India price of the Nothing Phone (2). So if the company follows a similar strategy, the price of the Phone 3 is likely to fall under Rs 60,000. Interestingly, the OnePlus 13 is selling at Rs 69,999 and Nothing will likely keep its phone price lower than the OnePlus flagship to attract premium phone buyers. The Rs 60,000 segment is the sweet spot for Nothing because the brand will also be able to target phones like the iPhone 16e and iQOO 13. It would be interesting to see how Nothing will position its new offering, which the company has been working on for more than 2 years. The Nothing Phone (3) is coming and it is no longer a secret. Nothing Phone 3 US pricing tipped ahead of July release date — here's what you'll pay

Nothing is preparing to launch the Nothing Phone 3 next month and a recent leak has given us a good idea of what the pricing — and colors — of the new flagship will be. According to leaker Roland Quandt on Bluesky, the Phone 3 will launch at $799 with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. That increases to $899 for the 16GB/512GB configuration. This pricing was shared by a second report on X (via GSMArena) that also confirmed colors will be a simple choice between black or white. That pricing is a fair jump higher than the Nothing Phone 2's $600 launch price, but it's not as bad as it could be. It's like-for-like pricing with the £800 U.K. cost of the phone that CEO Carl Pei teased during Google I/O. Given currency fluctuations and tariff concerns, many thought the Nothing Phone 3 could arrive with a $1,000 price tag. The Nothing Phone 3 is rumored to be the brand's attempt at a truer flagship, with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip on board that'll prioritize generative AI features, high-end gaming and photographic capabilities. If that $799 entry price leak is accurate, the phone will be directly positioned against the Google Pixel 9 for the attention of Android users. And while a better camera and some nifty AI tricks will help it out, the rumored lack of Nothing's famous glyph interface will make it harder to stand out against Google's colorful flagship. The Phone 3 is tipped to release in the U.S. in July, but it's not the only new Nothing product on the horizon. The company is also preparing to launch its first ever pair of over-ear headphones. According to the leaker Arsène Lupin, the so-called "Nothing Headphone 1" will arrive on September 30 for $299. Like the Nothing Phone 3, the headphones will also be available in a choice of black or white. Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips. Nothing will have its work cut out for it in the over-ear headphones market, but the brand's in-ear Nothing Ear 2 earbuds impressed us last year. We called them an AirPods Pro 2 rival in our 4-star review, so if the company can repeat the feat with the Headphone 1, our list of the best headphones to buy could have a new contender.

The triple camera was also seen in the mainstream phones by Nothing, Phone 3a series and CMF Phone 2 Pro. This is definitely an upgrade over the Nothing Phone 2's dual camera setup. In terms of battery life, Nothing is reportedly planning a slight increase in capacity, with the Phone 3 expected to house a battery rated at just above 5,000mAh. Nothing Phone 3 battery For comparison, the Phone 2 featured a 4,700mAh battery, while both the Nothing Phone 3a Pro and CMF Phone 2 max out at 5,000mAh. Interestingly, the Phone 3 is also tipped to launch with Android 15 pre-installed, even though Android 16 may be available by the time the device reaches consumers. Such a dramatic increase—nearly double—may come as a disappointment.
