HYBE Confirms BTS Is Preparing For First Group Comeback After Military Hiatus

It's been nearly three years since BTS (방탄소년단) announced their hiatus, and the long-awaited reunion of the beloved K-pop group is finally happening this weekend, 21st June (Saturday), as member Suga prepares to be discharged from the military. At the same time, ARMYs around the world have been buzzing with anticipation, eager to see the members back on stage together.
During their final group performance at the 'Yet To Come' concert on 15th October 2022, the members promised fans that they would return with even more unforgettable music and performances after completing their military service. Now, according to an exclusive interview with The Korea Herald, BTS is planning a powerful comeback in March 2026.
Two overseas sources confirmed that BTS wants to make their return alongside their labelmate, Tomorrow X Tomorrow (투모로우바이투게더). Additionally, a statement made by ENHYPEN mentioned how they had to push back their homecoming to January to make space for their seniors. This allows both groups to shine and connect with their audience, respectively.
The long-awaited comeback marks BTS' first group album since their 2022 anthology album 'Proof'. Knowing that ARMYs would begin counting the days till BTS returns, Lee Jae-sang, CEO of HYBE, stated that the boys would need time to get back into the rhythm and cook up something that'll re-emphasise why BTS is one of the biggest K-pop groups.
Just last weekend, J-hope (제이홉) wrapped up his 'Hope on the Stage' tour – in time for the group's 12th anniversary. The group also had an unofficial reunion as all the members attended the concert to support their group-mate. Fans cheered as Jin (진) and Jungkook (정국) joined him on the stage, giving ARMYs a glimpse of the old group they know and love.
Meanwhile, Jin is set to embark on his own world tour later this month, continuing through August, to promote his solo album 'Echo'. With all the buzz surrounding the group's comeback, ARMYs are eagerly anticipating a performance and album that will undoubtedly make the wait worthwhile.

The 31-year-old explained the reason he liked each item in the fridge, one by one. When it came to the Malaysian snack, he revealed that he had picked it up during his trip to Singapore, where he performed at the country's National Indoor Stadium. He described it as savoury and tasty before opening the bag to share it with Sana, who commented that it had a hint of sweetness. The moment quickly went viral, with Malaysian fans expressing their excitement over the Super Ring mention. Many commented that if J-Hope were to perform in Malaysia, he could have all the Super Ring snacks he wanted, as they're available in almost every convenience store across the country. Others, however, expressed disappointment that the idol didn't specify the snack's Malaysian origin, noting that he only mentioned picking it up in Singapore. DJ SODA Shares Heartbreaking Hair Disaster; Alleges Threats From Salon Following Fans' Protest

Colouring your hair can be an exciting experience, but it does come with risks. The bleaching process, in particular, can be harmful and may lead to various negative effects if not done correctly. This is why K-pop fans often express concern for their idols, as many of them change hair colour with every comeback. Even if you stick to one hair colour, the process of touching up your roots still carries some risk. Unfortunately for South Korean DJ Hwang So-hee (황소희), aka DJ SODA, her recent hair treatment didn't turn out as well as she had hoped. Earlier this week, DJ SODA posted about her recent visit to her regular hair salon to dye her hair blonde for the first time in 3 years. It was meant to be a surprise for her fans, but unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse when the salon accidentally left the bleach on for too long. 'My hair was originally thick, full, and in healthy condition thanks to a 3-year break from bleaching and consistent care. But they left the bleach on for too long, and my hair melted from the roots. In the end, I had to shave the entire back and sides of my head,' she said. The musician went on to explain that the damage was so severe, she could no longer hide it when attending events and shows. She felt devastated as her hair continued to fall out in large handfuls every day, to the point where she had trouble sleeping for two weeks. 'I cried every day. It's really hard for me to look in the mirror. When I see videos fans took of me, I feel even more heartbroken,' she added. Unfortunately, due to the extent of the damage, she was unable to get hair extensions to cover the bald spots and could only use what's left of her natural hair to conceal them. After sharing the news with her fans, many reportedly began protesting outside the hair salon. This led the management to contact DJ SODA in an attempt at damage control. However, rather than offering an apology, the company demanded that she take down the post. 'I received a message directed at my manager saying, 'I will give you 5 million won if you write a settlement agreement and take down the post.' [I want to make it clear that], even if I were offered a fortune, it cannot change my appearance now or undo the pain caused by this,' she said in a follow-up post. DJ Soda explained that the salon had offered to provide a list of hospitals (under their supervision) where she could receive hair treatment. However, despite repeated reminders, they failed to follow through on their promise. She did not disclose whether she plans to take legal action, but if her claims are true, the salon could be in serious trouble for damaging the hair of a public figure. K-pop singer Ju Hak-nyeon denies paying for sex

South Korean singer Ju Hak-nyeon was reported to have had a personal meeting with a Japanese adult film actress-turned-influencer. The apology on June 19 came after he was booted from K-pop boy band The Boyz on June 18. His agency One Hundred Label had announced on June 16 that the 26-year-old would be taking a break for personal reasons, without providing details. A Japanese media outlet then reported that Ju had a personal meeting with a Japanese adult film actress-turned-influencer, who is 11 years his senior, in Tokyo. The outlet added that he had allegedly paid for sex with the woman. One Hundred Label announced on June 18 that Ju will leave The Boyz and that his exclusive contract with the agency has been terminated. On June 19, Ju uploaded a handwritten letter on social media, in which he apologised for his behaviour. He admitted that he had a drink with an actress, along with acquaintances, in May. But he said he did not pay for sex, insisting that he had not committed any illegal acts. The Boyz, originally a 12-man act, debuted in 2017 with the EP The First. One member, Hwall, departed in October 2019 and the band released their first studio album, Reveal, in 2020. They launched their third studio album, Unexpected , in March.
