BTS Eyes March 2026 Comeback
Yara Sameh ARMY, the wait is almost over. After nearly two years of solo ventures and military obligations, K-pop titans BTS are gearing up for their highly anticipated comeback slated for March 2026. According to The Korea Herald , the septet — RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook — will officially reunite following the completion of all seven members' mandatory 18-month military service, with Suga set to complete his duty this Saturday. HYBE, the entertainment company that houses BTS through its Big Hit Music label, operates a multi-label system that includes acts like Tomorrow X Together and Enhypen under subsidiary Belift Lab. The company went public in 2020 and currently has a market cap of approximately $9.4 billion, making it one of the world's most valuable music companies. 'BTS' comeback date is set for March next year,' a HYBE official confirmed to sources. The timeline aligns with previous signals from HYBE CEO Lee Jae-sang, who told shareholders earlier this year that the group would need 'time for preparation and creative work' post-discharge. The March timeframe could see some serious label synergy, with sources suggesting the comeback will coincide with stablemate Tomorrow X Together's return. 'While the exact date is unknown, I think it will be mid-March,' one overseas source told The Korea Herald. 'I heard BTS is returning in the same month as their brother group, Tomorrow X Together. It could be BTS first, then TXT — or the other way around.' The BTS effect is already reshaping HYBE's release calendar. According to sources, Enhypen — the boy group under Hybe subsidiary Belift Lab — had originally planned a March comeback but shifted to January to avoid competing with the global phenomenon's return. The March timeline would allow for the creative breathing room that HYBE brass previously indicated was necessary. 'We're preparing alongside top-tier producers, but the artists also need time to reflect and prepare,' Lee said during the company's March shareholder meeting. The comeback timeline also accounts for Jin's extensive solo commitments. The eldest member kicks off his 'Runseokjin_EP.Tour' fan concert series June 28-29 in Goyang, with 18 shows planned across nine cities, including stops in Japan, the U.S., London, and Amsterdam through August 10. The March 2026 comeback would mark BTS' first full-group release since their 2022 anthology album 'Proof,' which preceded their military service hiatus. read more New Tourism Route To Launch in Old Cairo Ahmed El Sakka-Led Play 'Sayidati Al Jamila' to Be Staged in KSA on Dec. 6 Mandy Moore Joins Season 2 of "Dr. Death" Anthology Series Don't Miss These Movies at 44th Cairo Int'l Film Festival Today Amr Diab to Headline KSA's MDLBEAST Soundstorm 2022 Festival Arts & Culture Mai Omar Stuns in Latest Instagram Photos Arts & Culture "The Flash" to End with Season 9 Arts & Culture Ministry of Culture Organizes four day Children's Film Festival Arts & Culture Canadian PM wishes Muslims Eid-al-Adha News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt Business Fear & Greed Index Plummets to Lowest Level Ever Recorded amid Global Trade War Arts & Culture Zahi Hawass: Claims of Columns Beneath the Pyramid of Khafre Are Lies News Flights suspended at Port Sudan Airport after Drone Attacks Videos & Features Video: Trending Lifestyle TikToker Valeria Márquez Shot Dead during Live Stream News Shell Unveils Cost-Cutting, LNG Growth Plan Technology 50-Year Soviet Spacecraft 'Kosmos 482' Crashes into Indian Ocean News 3 Killed in Shooting Attack in Thailand

HYBE Confirms BTS Is Preparing For First Group Comeback After Military Hiatus
It's been nearly three years since BTS (방탄소년단) announced their hiatus, and the long-awaited reunion of the beloved K-pop group is finally happening this weekend, 21st June (Saturday), as member Suga prepares to be discharged from the military. At the same time, ARMYs around the world have been buzzing with anticipation, eager to see the members back on stage together. During their final group performance at the 'Yet To Come' concert on 15th October 2022, the members promised fans that they would return with even more unforgettable music and performances after completing their military service. Now, according to an exclusive interview with The Korea Herald, BTS is planning a powerful comeback in March 2026. Two overseas sources confirmed that BTS wants to make their return alongside their labelmate, Tomorrow X Tomorrow (투모로우바이투게더). Additionally, a statement made by ENHYPEN mentioned how they had to push back their homecoming to January to make space for their seniors. This allows both groups to shine and connect with their audience, respectively. The long-awaited comeback marks BTS' first group album since their 2022 anthology album 'Proof'. Knowing that ARMYs would begin counting the days till BTS returns, Lee Jae-sang, CEO of HYBE, stated that the boys would need time to get back into the rhythm and cook up something that'll re-emphasise why BTS is one of the biggest K-pop groups. Just last weekend, J-hope (제이홉) wrapped up his 'Hope on the Stage' tour – in time for the group's 12th anniversary. The group also had an unofficial reunion as all the members attended the concert to support their group-mate. Fans cheered as Jin (진) and Jungkook (정국) joined him on the stage, giving ARMYs a glimpse of the old group they know and love. Meanwhile, Jin is set to embark on his own world tour later this month, continuing through August, to promote his solo album 'Echo'. With all the buzz surrounding the group's comeback, ARMYs are eagerly anticipating a performance and album that will undoubtedly make the wait worthwhile. From aespa, Twice to Blackpink, major K-pop acts return amid industry slowdown
Returns of top girl groups — and BTS on the horizon — expected to revitalize sluggish market K-pop heavyweights, including aespa, Twice and Blackpink are set to return in the second half of the year, raising hopes for a rebound in the stagnant K-pop industry. These three acts represent the top-tier lineup from Korea's so-called "Big 4" entertainment companies — SM, JYP and YG and Hybe — and their comebacks are expected to inject fresh momentum into the global K-pop scene. All seven members of BTS will have completed their military service as of Saturday, and the industry is closely watching what could be the group's first full-group activity since the release of their anthology album 'Proof' in June 2022 — a pivotal moment that could further energize the K-pop market. Leading this season's comeback lineup is aespa, currently the most spotlighted act from SM Entertainment. The quartet is set to unveil its physical single 'Dirty Work' on July 24, marking its first release in nine months after October's 'Whiplash' EP. The upcoming release includes four tracks, featuring a version with US rapper Flo Milli, an English version and an instrumental. Aespa will also kick off its third world tour, '2025 aespa Live Tour - SYNK : Aexis Line -,' with a three-day concert series at Seoul's KSPO Dome from Aug. 29-31. Following a streak of million-seller albums including 'Armageddon,' 'Supernova,' and 'Whiplash,' attention is now on whether aespa can extend its success. JYP Entertainment's flagship girl group Twice is also set for a busy summer. The group will release its fourth studio album 'With You-th' — named after its ongoing world tour — on July 11. The following week, from July 19-20, they will return to the domestic stage with concerts at Inspire Arena in Incheon, their first shows in about a year. All seats at the arena will be open 360 degrees to offer fans an immersive experience, with production support from the multimedia creative studio Moment Factory. Twice will also take the stage as a headliner at Lollapalooza in Chicago on Aug. 2 and release its sixth Japanese LP 'Enemy' on Aug. 27. Meanwhile, Blackpink's long-awaited comeback appears to be approaching. In early June, sightings of the group filming a new music video in Seoul stirred global anticipation. YG Entertainment, on June 9, confirmed that Blackpink began shooting their new music video this month — the group's first confirmed release activity in nearly two years and eight months. While details such as the title and concept remain under wraps, the start of filming suggests that a full-group return is imminent. 'We'll be announcing Blackpink's new music soon,' YG founder Yang Hyun-suk had previously said via the company's social media. The girl group is also scheduled to launch a new world tour in July, beginning with a show in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province. The group will perform 31 shows in 16 cities, including stadium-level venues in Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, New York, Paris, Milan, Barcelona, London, Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Jakarta, Bulacan, Singapore, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Goyang. Why these comebacks matter The return of these powerhouse girl groups — and the looming comeback of BTS — carries significance beyond fan excitement. It comes at a time when the growth of K-pop appears to be slowing. According to data from Circle Chart, physical album sales in 2023 dropped 19.4 percent year-on-year to 93.28 million units, compared to 115.78 million units the previous year, marking the first decline since 2015. Digital streaming also saw a 7.6 percent decrease. Music critic Lim Hee-yoon said the upcoming comebacks may offer a vital boost. 'From a global perspective, BTS and Blackpink are still the biggest names,' he said. 'If acts like aespa and Twice follow through with strong performances, we could see a meaningful rebound in K-pop, Maybe not a massive boom, but definitely an upward shift.'

‘I went on a wellness trip to Arizona but this activity made my heart race'
When you think about wellness, pristine white spas and fluffy towels likely come to mind. However, the mountains, cacti and desert plains of Arizona probably don't. Yet that's exactly what I discovered on my trip to Scottsdale – dubbed 'The West's Most Western Town'. Less than an hour from the city in any direction, there are serene deserts where you can engage in activities ranging from mountain climbing and horse riding to calming sound baths and spa treatments. I concluded my visit feeling as rejuvenated as I would after a weekend at a luxury spa. The first half of my journey was spent at the stunning Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale, where I was immediately calmed by the peaceful, tranquil atmosphere. Despite its size, the resort's architecture and flora allow it to blend seamlessly into the stunning backdrop of Pinnacle Peak, reports the Mirror. Given Arizona's proximity to Mexico, the resort's four restaurants serve Mexican-inspired dishes alongside American classics, with a focus on authentic local flavours. For carnivores, a steak from Talavera restaurant is essential, while those who prefer something lighter shouldn't miss the avocado toast from Proof's breakfast menu. I'd also suggest ordering breakfast to your room at least once, so you can watch the sunrise over the mountains. The spa treatments at the hotel are as luxurious as you'd anticipate from a Four Seasons resort. My top pick was the nopal massage, which utilises prickly pear cactus leaves (no sharp bits, I assure you) to apply the antioxidant-rich cactus gel directly onto your skin. It's simply heavenly in the warm weather. I also gave desert bathing a go, which takes you into the nearby Sonoran desert for breathwork and grounding practices amidst towering cacti. Afterwards, I felt incredibly calm and relaxed. This is an absolute must for anyone who feels like they're constantly running at a hundred miles per hour. If you fancy a slightly livelier atmosphere, book a stay at Hotel Valley Ho in Scottsdale's Old Town. With modern facilities and a mid-century design, it's the perfect blend of past and present, and it's situated right in the heart of the Old Town, surrounded by shops, art galleries, bars and restaurants. When hunger strikes, make your way to The Mission for contemporary Latin cuisine in cosy candlelight or FnB for its scrumptious seasonal menu. For a nightcap, the Rusty Spur Saloon should be your first choice – the drinks are reasonably priced, there's almost always a live country singer performing, and it's so renowned that everyone from Clint Eastwood and John Wayne to Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston have popped in for a drink. Scottsdale is part of the Blue Zones project, which aims to make healthy living and wellness a priority and means certain restaurants have Blue Zone-approved dishes, centred around healthier eating habits. Everything I tried was nutritious and full of flavour. I tried out a sound bath at the Shanti Sound meditation centre, and although I was a bit sceptical about the benefits beforehand, I came away feeling like I'd just done three rounds of therapy and a spa treatment all at once. For outdoorsy types, a kayaking trip through the lower Salt River with Cliff Creek Outfitters is a must-do. You'll be fully immersed in the Arizonian landscape, as well as getting the chance to spot wildlife such as bald eagles and wild horses. In terms of bucket-list activities, there were two absolute standouts that I managed to tick off on my trip. The first was a hot air balloon ride with Hot Air Expeditions, which took us out over the desert, including over the famous Happy Valley neighbourhood. Hitting heights of 4,400 feet in just a basket may sound scary, but it was so unexpectedly peaceful and the incredible views are worth every heart palpitation. The second was a guided horse ride through Tonto National Park with Windwalker Expeditions. As an avid equestrian back home, this was particularly thrilling for me, but you don't need to be familiar with a saddle to enjoy it. There's something incredibly soothing about riding past towering eight-feet-tall cacti, desert landscapes and rugged rock faces on horseback. It's an experience that will forever remain etched in my memory. To plan your visit to Arizona, visit Experience Scottsdale.
