OGC Nice interested in Strasbourg's Robin Risser

Yahoo05-06-2025

OGC Nice may be in the market for a goalkeeper, even two, this summer. After two successful seasons with the club, Marcin Bulka (25) could leave the club this summer.
The Polish goalkeeper has just one year remaining on his deal. There are no signs of a renewal with talks at a deadlock. Desperate not to lose such a valuable asset for free, Nice may therefore look to offload Bulka this summer. He is notably attracting interest from local rivals AS Monaco.

Meanwhile, another goalkeeper is being linked with a move to the Allianz Riviera – RC Strasbourg Alsace's Robin Risser (20). L'Équipe understands that Nice hold a strong interest in the young goalkeeper, who spent last season on loan with Red Star in Ligue 1. Risser, who is a feature in the France youth set-up, is seen as a goalkeeper with a very high potential and one that they would like within their ranks.

Poland's Gaz-System secures $593m loan for floating LNG terminal in Gdansk

Polish pipeline operator Gaz-System is set to receive a loan of 2.2bn zlotys ($593m) to develop the onshore section of the country's first floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU), reported Reuters. Scheduled for completion in 2028, the FSRU will be situated in the Bay of Gdansk and is expected to play a critical role in Poland's energy infrastructure. The project will establish infrastructure that will facilitate the offtake of increased volumes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) transported by sea, followed by regasification and delivery to the National Transmission System. The FSRU will be capable of LNG unloading, in-process storage, regasification of LNG and additional services. The loan from state-owned bank BGK is backed by EU funds and has a repayment period of 25 years. The funds will be directed towards constructing a 250km pipeline designed to link the floating LNG (FLNG) terminal to the central gas network of Poland, as detailed by BGK deputy president Marta Pustula. Earlier this year, Gaz-System completed the expansion of its LNG terminal in Świnoujście. This expansion increased the terminal's regasification capacity to 8.3 billion cubic metres (bcm), catering to nearly half of the annual gas demand of Polish consumers. In March last year, Gaz-System signed an agreement to acquire Gas Storage Poland from Polish refiner Orlen. The agreement bolsters Gaz-System's Polish gas market presence, complementing its Yamal pipeline and LNG terminal operations. Gaz-System also announced plans in April this year to modernise the Hermanowice gas metering station. This upgrade is a result of technical discussions with the Ukrainian gas transmission system operator (TSO) regarding the GCP GAZ-SYSTEM/UA TSO interconnection and aims to improve transmission system capacity, especially towards Ukraine. Free agent midfielder pictured in Real Madrid jersey

A big-name free agent midfielder was on Friday photographed donning the colours of La Liga giants Real Madrid. The player in question? Paul Pogba. Former France international Pogba is of course currently without a club. Advertisement This comes after the 32-year-old's contract terms with Italian heavyweights Juventus were terminated, owing to a failed doping test. Pogba has spent the months since working hard to maintain his fitness, with a view to returning to competitive football for the 2025/26 campaign. In his native France, AS Monaco, for one, are understood to be interested in the services of the former Manchester United man. As alluded to above, though, late this week, it is fans of another of European football's most recognisable clubs who have had their attentions piqued by Pogba. This comes after the gifted midfielder posed for a photo, since posted to social media, whilst wearing a Real Madrid jersey: Conor Laird – GSFN
