A 1993 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 coupe custom-built by Singer Vehicle Design has surfaced for sale in the United States, showcasing the Los Angeles firm's unmatched craftsmanship and performance engineering.
Known as the 'Fiona Commission,' this reimagined 964-generation 911 underwent its transformation between 2015 and 2016 before spending several years in the United Arab Emirates. After changing hands in 2019, the car returned stateside and is now being offered by a selling dealer with only 3,200 miles accumulated since its Singer restoration.
The coupe is finished in a bespoke shade of non-metallic Midnight Blue—a paint-to-sample color selected by the original client. Lightweight carbon-fiber construction replaces the original steel panels, including the fenders, hood, bumpers, and even the roof. Fuchs-style forged wheels with nickel-plated accents and Michelin tires complete the exterior, while a front-end protective film preserves the finish.
Powering the car is a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six, hand-assembled by Ed Pink Racing Engines. Built with custom internal components, including billet pistons and a bespoke crankshaft, the motor produces 390 horsepower and 315 pound-feet of torque. A five-speed manual transaxle with limited-slip differential sends power to the rear wheels.
Inside, the Fiona Commission strikes a balance between elegance and racing heritage. Cognac and Espresso leathers cover the carbon-fiber bucket seats and dashboard, while a laminated-wood shift knob, white-stitched leather roll bar, and upgraded sound system add comfort and character. A Parrot infotainment unit is discreetly integrated, and quilted leather details appear even in the front trunk.

The automaker also assured that it is now working with the customer with the incorrect plaque. However, it was not confirmed which of the two 911 S/Ts had the wrong identifier. While unusual, the good news is that the mix-up seems confined to the serial number plaque, which is just a cosmetic feature. Both vehicles still retain their unique VINs, which are the actual legal identifiers for the cars. In all likelihood, the problem stems from a simple assembly line or parts inventory error.
