3 Arts Acquires Independent News Talent Agency OManagement, Led by Olivia Metzger

Yahoo06-06-2025

Olivia Metzger, the independent agent who represents Craig Melvin and Kristen Welker, among others, is no longer running solo.
After leaving CAA in 2017 and building her own agency to represent news anchors and producers, Metzger is selling her OManagement to 3 Arts Entertainment, the production house that has been involved in series ranging from 'King of the Hill' to 'Hacks,' and has built alliances with Mike Judge and Tina Fey, among others.

Metzger, who also represents Steve Kornacki, Harris Faulkner and Ari Melber, will join as a partner and co-head of 3 Arts' New York office. Her associate Chelsea Sells will join as well.
The partnership 'allows us to offer our clients expanded opportunities across a dynamic media landscape, while preserving the close, individualized attention that has always defined both OManagement and 3 Arts,' says Metzger, in a statement. 'By combining our deep experience in agenting and talent development with 3 Arts' strengths in production and media strategy, we're creating a powerful alliance uniquely positioned to support storytellers and experts at every stage of their careers.'
While 3 Arts may be best know for scripted fare, the company, which is controlled by Lionsgate, has made interesting moves in recent days. Earlier this week, 3 Arts acquired A&A Management, which represents sports clients including Travis Kelce, Denzel Ward and Jonathan Kuminga, among others.
The move highlights a growing trend of news personalities taking on a wider halo in the entertainment business, particularly as established anchors ranging from Don Lemon to Jim Acosta and Chuck Todd move into independent streaming-video venues and digital newsletters. Fox Corp. in February acquired Red Seat Ventures, a production outlet that helps manage business aspects of independent news and opinion personalities including Bill O'Reilly, Tucker Carlson and Megyn Kelly.
'At 3 Arts, we recognize that news talent and media personalities have never been more valuable thanthey are today,' said 3 Arts Entertainment co-CEOs Brian Weinstein and Michael Rotenberg, in a prepared statement. 'With audiences seeking out trusted individual voices, our partnership with OManagement allows us to support journalists and news professionals and personalities as they build their brands and adapt to new ways of connecting with the public. OManagement possesses unrivaled relationships with media companies and on-air talent, and as 3 Arts Entertainment expands its New York City presence, the addition of Olivia as a leader and a partner will help our combined team support cultural influencers and personalities creating impactful content.'

Chicken N Pickle opens first Colorado location

Chicken N Pickle, a Kansas City-founded restaurant boasting pickleball courts, opens Tuesday in Thornton. Dig in: It's the restaurant's first Colorado location, and will feature eight courts inside its 45,000-square-foot complex at The Grove shopping center near Interstate-25 and 144th Avenue. The two-story venue will include six indoor and two covered outdoor courts, along with cornhole, ping pong, Jenga and life-sized Battleship. The vibe: The family-friendly restaurant bills itself as a fast-casual, "chef-driven" eatery, focusing on fresh and quality ingredients raised responsibly and sourced ethically. Among its most notable dishes is its wood-fired rotisserie chicken. Best bites: Try the chicken tinga tostada, a tasty but light appetizer that's filling but won't mess up your racket swing. The smoked chicken wings are also a great option; they're very good dry, but are also available with some classic buffalo sauce. What to try: The spicy blackberry margarita is a creative, flavorful cocktail for people who like a sweet-and-spicy treat. It's available at the three bars inside and outside the restaurant. Between the lines: The restaurant has the backing of two top Denver Broncos rivals in Kansas City Chiefs stars Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, who together raised $10 million to fund the chain.

Rams have one TE attending Kittle, Kelce and Olsen's 'Tight End University' this week

Many of the league's best tight ends will be getting together this week for the annual 'Tight End University' summit in Nashville. It was founded by Travis Kelce, George Kittle and Greg Olsen in 2021, making this the fifth year of the exclusive tight end summit. Tyler Higbee didn't attend last year while recovering from knee and shoulder surgery and he won't be making an appearance this week, either. Colby Parkinson, however, is attending for the third straight year. He's the Rams' lone tight end set to attend TEU 2025. As for what these tight ends do during the summit, it's all about collaboration, learning and helping each other out before the upcoming season. From the Tight End University website: Founded in 2021 by NFL Tight Ends George Kittle, Travis Kelce and Greg Olsen, Tight End University was created to bring the Tight End community together for an immersive three-day program. Over the course of the summit, attendees are able to bond, collaborate with, and learn amongst their peers while participating in a variety of activities including film study, on-field drills, recovery, rehabilitation, and more. In addition to current players, TEU also features several retired legends who provide attendees with the invaluable opportunity to learn from some of the best to ever play the game. There are also community and charitable efforts held during TEU, raising money that will be donated to various charities. Among the other tight ends across the league who will attend are Brock Bowers, Dallas Goedert, Evan Engram, T.J. Hockenson, Trey McBride and even rookie Mason Taylor. Rams rookie Terrance Ferguson isn't attending. Follow Rams Wire on X, Facebook and Threads for more coverage!

Chiefs 'Not Feeling' Travis Kelce Play Style Change In 2025

Chiefs 'Not Feeling' Travis Kelce Play Style Change In 2025 originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is coming to the end of his storied career, and with the veteran entering Year 13, there was a thought that the offense might look a little different for him in 2025. Advertisement The thought was that Kansas City would slowly transition away from Kelce being "the" guy in preparation for his retirement, allowing others to take a bigger role in the offense. That feels logical, and after last season's output, no one would bat an eyelid if the Chiefs, while still using Kelce as a receiving option, slowly moved away from him being the No. 1 guy. But head coach Andy Reid doesn't envision such change. "I'm not really feeling that,' Reid said. 'More similar to last year, I would imagine. He's in great shape right now, so I think he's looking forward to getting going.' Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce© Mark J. Rebilas-Imagn Images Kelce is coming off his worst season since his rookie year, with his lowest yards (823) and touchdown (three) totals. He has even admitted that he wasn't at his best last year. Advertisement So he's put in the work, dropped some weight (no, not the 25 pounds being reported), but the tight end does look slimmer as he attacks minicamp with the vigor of a player looking to prove a lot of people wrong in 2025. The Chiefs do have other weapons that Patrick Mahomes can utilize, including Rashee Rice, Xavier Worthy, Hollywood Brown and Juju Smith-Schuster, but make no mistake, Kelce will still receive his targets in 2025. Yes, the future Hall of Famer might be slowing down physically, but he won't be slowing down his role in the offense.
