Huge car brand recalls over a million vehicles due to software error which can increase risk of a crash when reversing
ONE of the world's best known car brands has recalled more than a million vehicles due to a camera software issue.
Ford has recalled the cars over an error that can cause backup camera images to delay, freeze, or not display when reversing.

A statement from the American National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says the rear view camera image error poses a crash risk.
"A frozen or missing rearview camera image can reduce the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash," it says.
Ford says that no injuries have been reported in relation to this error.
However, the company added in its recall notice that it is "aware of one allegation of a minor crash resulting in property damage".
