Brad Pitt had spoken out for the first time on bitter divorce from Angelina Jolie. The Bullet Train and Tomb Raider stars ended the dispute with an agreement earlier this year
Pitt, 61, tied the knot with Jolie, now 49, in 2014 after a whirlwind romance that began on the set of the film Mr. and Mrs. Smith back in 2005. The pair finally parted ways in 2016. The high-profile split led Jolie to file for divorce in the same year.

A series of bitter disputes over custody and their business interests followed.

Discussing the closure of his divorce proceedings, Pitt said: "No, I don't think it was that major of a thing. Just something coming to fruition. Legally."
The legal wrangles between the pair have included battles over their six children and the division of their shared assets, such as the Château Miraval winery located in France.
They share six children: Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Zahara, 20, Shiloh, 19, and twins Knox and Vivienne, both 16.

Currently, Brad is living in Los Angeles with his partner, 32-year-old jewellery executive Ines de Ramon, Pitt previously discussed the relentless media attention he's faced in an interview with GQ, when he said: "It's been in the news for 30 years, bro. Or some version of my personal life, let's put it that way."
When quizzed about whether their glamorous appearance at the 2024 British Grand Prix was a strategic move to promote his latest film F1, he dismissed the suggestion of any promotional intent.
He remarked: "No, dude, it's not that calculated. If you're living, oh my God, how exhausting would that be? If you're living with making those kinds of calculations? No, life just evolves. Relationships evolve."

Reflecting on his personal life, Pitt shared: "Mostly I feel pretty... my life is fairly contained.
"It feels pretty warm and secure with my friends, with my loves, with my fam, with my knowledge of who I am, that, you know, it's like this fly buzzing around a little bit."

The actor, who was once married to Jennifer Aniston until their split in 2005, seems to have found a sense of peace amidst the chaos of fame.
When the divorce was finalised, Jolie's lawyer released a statement saying: "Frankly, Angelina is exhausted, but she is relieved this one part is over.'
Lawyer James Simon added to the Associated Press: "More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr Pitt. She and the children left all of the properties they had shared with Mr Pitt, and since that time she has focused on finding peace and healing for their family.
'This is just one part of a long ongoing process that started eight years ago.'

The summer is packed full of unmissable sporting events, including the FIFA Club World Cup, British Grand Prix, Tour de France and Oleksandr Usyk vs Daniel Dubois 2 As footie fans eagerly anticipate the kick-off of the 2025/26 season, there's a host of other sporting spectacles to savour this summer. Some of the globe's top clubs have descended on the USA for the FIFA Club World Cup, including Man City, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), with the next match taking place today at 8pm between PSG and Seattle Sounders FC. Away from the football pitch, there are more unmissable sporting events lined up in July, such as the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, the Tour de France and the much-awaited rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois. However, with all this sporting drama spread across several UK broadcasters, it can be a bit of a puzzle deciding which subscription best caters to our sporting preferences. With that in mind, we've examined a range of major sports broadcasters, including DAZN, Sky Sports and TNT Sports, along with the top deals currently on offer. So, read on for a sneak peek of the summer highlights and the best deals to catch each one without breaking the bank. DAZN While many sports enthusiasts link DAZN with boxing, it actually offers a whole lot more. Throughout June and July, the broadcaster will be showing every match from the FIFA Club World Cup live from the USA. Supporters can stream every match for free by creating a complimentary DAZN account, which also provides access to a range of documentaries, features and clips from past tournaments. For those desiring HDR picture quality and Dolby 5.1 Surround Sound, fewer adverts and full access to the rest of the DAZN platform, DAZN offers a paid Premium subscription. Watch the Club World Cup free on DAZN £0 DAZN Get DAZN here Product Description DAZN Premium is currently priced at £9.99 for an annual plan, or £19.99 for the 30-day rolling Flex account. The DAZN App is compatible with smart TVs, smartphones, tablets, games consoles, streaming devices and any device with a web browser. In addition to football, DAZN's boxing schedule includes Jake Paul vs Chavez Jr (June 28), Catterall vs Eubank (July 5) and Oleksandr Usyk vs Daniel Dubois 2 (July 19). However, bear in mind that certain fights will only be available on pay-per-view and are not included in a standard DAZN subscription. In our assessment of the DAZN platform, we found the app occasionally sluggish on an iPhone 13, but it operates smoothly once content is loaded, and streaming on a TV posed no problems. Sky Sports Despite being between Premier League and EFL seasons, Sky Sports has plenty to offer sports enthusiasts ahead of the new season starting in August. From the 2025/26 season, Sky is boosting its Premier League coverage, promising a 'record minimum' of 215 live matches, which it claims is more than any other broadcaster. Sky's flagship TV and sports package, the Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle, is available for £35 per month. This gives viewers access to every fixture broadcast on Sky Sports, including over 140 weekend matches, evening games on Fridays and Mondays, three midweek rounds, and the festive round of fixtures. By signing up for a 24-month Sky Sports package, viewers secure access to both the 2025/26 and 2026/27 Premier League and EFL seasons. The package includes nine dedicated Sky Sports channels, such as Golf, Tennis, Cricket and F1, so fans can catch every practice, qualifier and race from the British Grand Prix at Silverstone on July 3-6. The package also includes more than 100 regular channels, along with free Netflix and Discovery+ subscriptions. However, the main drawback with Sky might be its 24-month contract length, which could deter those not looking to make a long-term commitment. If this is the case, Sky also offers a 30-day rolling plan for £43 per month, providing flexibility for a higher monthly cost. Existing Sky customers can add Sky Sports to their package for an additional £22 per month. Sky Sports is also included in Virgin Media's Bigger Combo bundle + Sport s, priced at £59.99 per month. This package justifies its higher price tag with the inclusion of 362Mbps broadband and a shorter 18-month term. TNT Sports The broadcaster formerly known as BT Sport is now accessible via a Discovery+ Premium subscription in the UK. Its coverage spans four telly channels and up to six digital or red-button channels, plus Eurosport 1 and 2. TNT offers a variety of sports to cater to any fan, including football, cycling, tennis, snooker, Premiership Rugby, MotoGP, boxing, UFC and more. This month's highlights include the remaining NBA finals games, with the Tour de France kicking off on 5 July. Also on the roster are the Bennetts British Superbikes and World Superbikes, along with the Grand Slam Track events from Miami, Philadelphia and Los Angeles. Looking ahead, TNT Sports will once again air select matches in the upcoming seasons of the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League. All this can be accessed with a Discovery+ Premium subscription for £30.99 per month through Discovery+ or Amazon's Discovery+ Prime Video channel. TNT Sports can also be added to new or existing Sky and Virgin packages for £20 and £18 respectively. However, TNT Sports has faced backlash for its commentary on certain sports, with disgruntled users airing their grievances on Trustpilot. One tennis enthusiast described the commentary for the Men's and Ladies' French finals as 'dreadful'. One football fan remarked: "If TNT Sports football producers believe commenters shouting and screaming over each other enhances the experience, so be it. Most people I talk to either watch with sound off or now just don't tune in. However, other fans were more positive, as one said: "Giving five stars for Ally McCoist's match commentary. He's brilliant."

F1 movie release date: Blockbuster film starring Brad Pitt set to drop in cinemas

Formula 1 have revealed that the highly anticipated film starring Brad Pitt in the lead role will be released on 25 June 2025 in cinemas worldwide. The Apple Original Film, in conjunction with F1 and Warner Bros. Pictures, sees Pitt star as a former driver returning to Formula One, with British actor Damson Idris his rookie team-mate at fictional team APXGP. Filming took place at races in 2023 and 2024, most notably at Silverstone in 2023 during the national anthems on the grid, and concluded at last year's Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in December. A new teaser trailer was released for the movie in the build-up to Super Bowl LIX, with the official trailer released in March. The film, simply titled F1, has a release date of Wednesday 25 June internationally and Friday 27 June in North America. Lewis Hamilton is also playing a part as executive producer, with the film directed by Top Gun: Maverick director Joseph Kosinski. Academy Award-winner Javier Bardem, nominee Kerry Cordon and Emmy Award-winner Tobias Menzies also star in the 2025 blockbuster. An F1 press release said: 'Made in collaboration with Formula 1, the movie is a landmark for the sport and cinema, filmed in real-time during grands prix around the world and involving the Formula 1 community, including all 10 teams, the drivers, the FIA and race promoters. 'The new feature film is set in the exhilarating and cinematic world of Formula 1 and will immerse audiences in the spectacle of the most popular annual sports series, celebrating the skill and heroism of the drivers while showcasing the incredible challenge of competition in Formula 1. 'The global theatrical release will also include IMAX theatres. 'The crystal-clear images, coupled with IMAX's customised theatre geometry and powerful digital audio, create a unique environment that will make audiences feel as if they are in the movie.' Speaking at the 2023 British Grand Prix about the role, Hollywood star Pitt said: 'Tell you what's amazing about it. You'll see cameras mounted all over the car. You've never seen speed, you've never seen the G-forces like this. It's really amazing.' He added that driving around the circuit was 'humbling', saying: 'I don't know if you could call mine a hot lap, I'd call it kind of a warm lap. 'I've taken a few tours, unintentionally, through the grass,' he said while confirming he hadn't hit anything hard yet, 'Only my ego.' Asked how he felt driving in front of the British GP crowd, Pitt said: 'I wasn't nervous... The guys really prepared me well. 'There's a couple of corners where I can see the stands, but I was focused on the lines. I was able to appreciate the experience of driving when I was on the straights. This should be as authentic as we can get it. 'Lewis [Hamilton] wants us to respect the sport, that we really show it for what it is. As a civilian, I had no idea what it takes to be a driver. 'The aggression and dexterity, I have so much respect for it.'

Fans convinced Valtteri Bottas has new job as Lewis Hamilton's former F1 team-mate posts cryptic social media updates

The Finn lost his F1 seat with Sauber at the end of the 2025 season and now operates as the Mercedes team reserve driver. 7 Valtteri Bottas has convinced fans he will land a new job in F1 after some cryptic social media posts Credit: X 7 Bottas was seen wearing a cowboy hat before spotting a topical car brand Credit: X 7 His cameraman pointed to the Cadillac symbol at the front of the car Credit: X 7 Bottas remarked it was a 'nice seat' as he touched the driver's seat Credit: X 7 The Finn then commented how there were two seats free Credit: X 7 Bottas was then asked if he wanted to drive it, to which he said, 'Not yet' Credit: X However, Lewis Hamilton's old team-mate has been linked with reclaiming a spot on the grid when the paddock expands to accommodate Cadillac as the 11th F1 team for 2026. And to that end, Bottas has left fans thinking an announcement over his future is imminent after he appeared to tease a partnership with the US luxury car manufacturer. Taking to social media, Bottas first shared a pair of snaps of himself at a pool table wearing a cowboy-style hat at Silver City Aspen in Colorado. But it was his second post which really got fans talking. READ MORE IN F1 HORROR SMASH Racing driver rushed to hospital after car flips in terrifying crash While out on a stroll, Bottas' cameraman, Paul Ripke, pointed out a car ahead of them, before highlighting it was a Cadillac. Having opened the door of the car, Ripke remarks: "That's a nice seat." The 35-year-old then goes and touches the seat, saying: "Oh wow, that's actually a nice seat." After a moment of looking inside the car, Ripke notes: "And there's two seats." BEST ONLINE CASINOS - TOP SITES IN THE UK Bottas looks and then looks at Ripke, saying: "And they're both free." He is then asked if he wants to sit in it, to which he replies: "Not yet." F1 star wears budgie smugglers as he competes in race he founded in completely different sport American manufacturer Cadillac are joining the F1 2026 grid in partnership with General Motors. Bottas is one of the favourites to land one of the two new seats which will be up for grabs at the team next season, and would represent a wealth of experience with 246 race starts to his name, including 10 wins and 19 poles. And taking to the comments of Bottas' post, fans now believe an announcement could be coming soon, with one saying: "A code?" A second said: "Are you saying what I think you're saying, without saying it?" A third added: "That means what I think that means?" Another said: "Please lord, I don't ask for much!" A fifth said: "Yeah he's back for 26 isn't he lol." Bottas is, of course, known to be very cheeky with his social media activity, so the tease should be taken with a pinch of salt for the time being. Besides, he is facing stiff competition from the likes of Sergio Perez, who was axed by Red Bull in 2024. Motorsport icon and ex-F1 world champion Mario Andretti - one of the directors of the new team - has already confirmed the team were looking at the Mexican driver to take one of the seats. Speaking to Fox Sports in May, he said: "All I can tell you is that he's [Perez] certainly one of the drivers that's being considered. He has to be. "I cannot divulge as to where we are with any commitment whatsoever — I think we want to keep that luxury to ourselves until we feel that we have scanned the entire spectrum of availability. I think that's a prudent thing to do." Other drivers who have been linked include Mick Schumacher, Zhou Guanyu, Alex Palou, and Colton Herta. The next F1 race will commence in Austria next weekend off the back of a double Mercedes podium in Canada, which saw George Russell take the win ahead of Max Verstappen and rookie team-mate Kimi Antonelli.
