Rock band +Live+ joins 2025 New York State Fair lineup

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Fairgoers, get ready as another rock act has been added to the 2025 New York State Fair concert lineup.
The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus booked for the NYS Fair
Having sold more than 23 million albums worldwide and earned two number one albums, +LIVE+ will be performing at the Fair's Suburban Park on September 1, at 6 p.m.
'Fairgoers told us last year that they wanted to hear more rock at the Great New York State Fair, and we are excited to deliver,' said Fair Director Julie LaFave. '+LIVE+ is an iconic alternative rock band that has certainly made its mark on the music scene and promises fairgoers a powerful performance when they make their way to Central New York this summer.'
The band is known for their hits 'Lightning Crashes,' 'I Alone,' 'All Over You,' and 'Lakini's Juice.'
The Fair starts Wednesday, Aug. 20, and runs through Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 1.

The emo-pop band is best known for its 2006 major-label debut, 'Don't Fake It.' The platinum-certified project peaked at No. 25 on the Billboard 200 and contained the smash hit 'Face Down.' The single peaked at No. 24 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has since been certified five-times platinum by the RIAA. The band has released four more albums — 'Lonely Road' (2006), 'AM I the Enemy' (2011), '4″ (2014) and 'The Awakening' (2018) — but none have matched the success of their debut. Ronnie Winter, frontman of the emo rock band The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, has prohibited all Donald Trump supporters from attending any of their shows. The singer, 42, reiterated his stance against the president and his supporters in a recent Instagram Video, saying: 'I thought I was pretty clear about all this stuff in 2020. As you notice on my Instagram, I did not remove any of that stuff from the Stay Woke campaign. 'Look, man, the thing about being woke is you're awake. And once you're awake, you can never go to sleep. And not only has nothing changed, but everything they said was going to happen, the woke people, has happened. You have done nothing but prove them right,' he said. Reintroducing himself as the lead singer of the 2000s band, Winter continued: 'I actually follow what Jesus says.
