Carly Pearce to perform at the 2025 Great NYS Fair
SYRACUSE. N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Grammy award-winning country artist Carly Pearce is scheduled to perform at the 2025 Great New York State Fair. The Nashville star will be at the fair on Wednesday, August 27, at 8 p.m. Section III crowns three more boys lacrosse champions Her music, which includes four No. 1 hit singles, awards, and the story of leaving home at 16 years old to sing at Dollywood, goes to show how dedicated she is to her passion for country music. Her latest album, 'hummingbird,' received critical acclaim with its PLATINUM-certified lead single 'we don't fight anymore' featuring Chris Stapleton, earning Pearce her second Grammy nomination. 'We are so excited to host award-winning artist Carly Pearce, who has amazing talent and that will be sure to bring out a huge crowd,' said Julie LaFave, Fair Director. 'We're proud to be able to provide top-notch entertainment like this that will be sure to have fairgoers singing the night away.' The Fair starts Wednesday, August 20, and runs through Labor Day, Monday, September 1. All concerts are included in the price of admission, which is on sale now through the Fair's recently launched Star-Spangled Savings ticket sale promotion. The sale closes July 6 at midnight. R&B pop group 98 Degrees to return to the NYS Fair
SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — The 'Just One Night' singers will return and hit the Suburban Park Stage this summer. 98 Degrees, known for 'I Do Cherish You,' 'The Hardest Thing,' 'My Everything,' 'Because of You,' and more, performed back in 2021 — and they clearly couldn't get enough. They will return on Monday, Aug. 25, at 8 p.m. Known for their seamless harmonies and signature R&B-inspired ballads, 98 Degrees is an internationally acclaimed, multi-platinum, multi-award-winning and nominated vocal group comprised of brothers Nick and Drew Lachey, Jeff Timmons, and Justin Jeffre, according to the Fair. Rock band +Live+ joins 2025 New York State Fair lineup
SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Fairgoers, get ready as another rock act has been added to the 2025 New York State Fair concert lineup. The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus booked for the NYS Fair Having sold more than 23 million albums worldwide and earned two number one albums, +LIVE+ will be performing at the Fair's Suburban Park on September 1, at 6 p.m. 'Fairgoers told us last year that they wanted to hear more rock at the Great New York State Fair, and we are excited to deliver,' said Fair Director Julie LaFave. '+LIVE+ is an iconic alternative rock band that has certainly made its mark on the music scene and promises fairgoers a powerful performance when they make their way to Central New York this summer.' The band is known for their hits 'Lightning Crashes,' 'I Alone,' 'All Over You,' and 'Lakini's Juice.' The Fair starts Wednesday, Aug. 20, and runs through Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 1. Los Lonely Boys to play at the NYS Fair
SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — The Texas-based band known for singing the 2003 hit, 'Heaven,' will perform at Chevy Court this summer! The Grammy-winning group, which garnered traction in the 2000s, will play on Sunday, Aug. 24, at 1 p.m. 'The journey of the Garza brothers from small-town musicians to Grammy winners embodies the inspiring spirit and variety our concert series are known for,' said Fair Director Julie LaFave. They are known for their other songs, which include, 'Señorita,' 'Nobody Else,' 'Crazy Dream,' and more. The Fair starts Wednesday, August 20, and runs through Labor Day, Monday, September 1. ‘Whiskey On You' singer Nate Smith to perform on opening day of NYS Fair
SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — You've waited long enough. Country star Nate Smith has been announced as Suburban Park's opening day concert. Smith will kick off Central New York's most iconic 13-day event on Wednesday, August 20, at 8 p.m. 'I can't wait to get The Fair started with one of Country music's brightest stars in Nate Smith,' said Julie LaFave, Fair Director. He is known for his songs, 'World on Fire,' 'Fix What You Didn't Break,' 'Wreckage,' and more. 'Smith, who was named the Academy of Country Music's New Male Artist of the Year, Billboard's Rookie of the Year, and Amazon's Breakthrough Country Artist in 2024, has become one of music's most widely searched artists with over 2.2 billion career streams to date,' said the Fair. In total, the Fair's 2025 Chevrolet Music Series will feature 41 national recording acts. There will be a daily 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. concert at Chevy Court (located near Gate 1), and an 8 p.m. concert each evening at Suburban Park.
