Driver flees after causing 3-vehicle crash in north Abilene
ABILENE, Texas () – A driver has fled the scene after causing a 3-vehicle crash in north Abilene Thursday afternoon.
The crash happened near the intersection of N 10th Street and Westwood Drive around 4:00 p.m.
Police at the scene told KTAB and KRBC an SUV traveling at a high speed east down N 10th Street hit a Jeep that was traveling west, causing both to spin out and hit a third vehicle.
All three drivers involved sustained minor injuries, and the driver of the SUV that caused the crash fled the scene. This driver has been identified but not yet apprehended, according to police.
No further information is available at this time.

Defense attorney for suspect in Aliza Sherman's murder hints at strategy: I-Team
CLEVELAND (WJW) – The accused killer of Aliza Sherman was in court on Tuesday for his first pretrial and his attorney is now hinting on plans to fight the charges. Gregory Moore, 51, is accused of killing Sherman in 2013. Her murder went unsolved for 12 years. Moore was indicted on several charges, including aggravated murder, on May 2. His defense attorney, Jon Paul Rion, is questioning why prosecutors are filing the charges now. 'The delay in this case is of concern,' Rion said. 'It is not clear if there is any new evidence.' Prosecutors have also said there is technology available now that was not available more than a decade ago when the murder happened. 'If there are material witnesses or other evidence no longer in existence that could adversely affect the defendant, in this case Greg Moore, the court has to look if it's even fair to have a trial.' Manitowoc County man with revoked license arrested for 5th OWI, charged with THC possession
APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) – A Manitowoc County man with a revoked license was arrested on his 5th OWI charge after a 9 a.m. traffic stop last Friday. A release from the Wisconsin State Patrol states that during a traffic safety enforcement around 9:10 a.m. on Friday, June 13, a trooper stopped a vehicle on North Richmond Street and West Lindbergh Street in Appleton. During the traffic stop, 39-year-old Michael Chanthavong of Reedsville was arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 5th offense, after the trooper noticed signs of impairment. One victim shot in the leg, Oconto County deputies investigating disturbance After an investigation that included Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, Chanthavong was taken to a local hospital for an evidentiary blood draw and then transported to the Outagamie County Jail. Authorities noted that Chanthavong was also charged with possession of THC/marijuana and operating after revocation of his driver's license. No additional details were provided.
