A dad has gone viral for his hysterical reaction to his daughter arriving home with two kittens.
Danielle Flores lives in the U.S. with her husband Danny and their daughter Laila, who she described to Newsweek as "a huge kitten lover."
The family—who already have two cats—adopted a kitten from a local rescue earlier in the year, but when it became suddenly sick and passed away, Laila was devastated.
So when Laila recently decided she was ready for another kitten, Flores and her husband agreed—only for Danny to get a shock when the mother and daughter arrived home with two.
"A lady posted about needing to find home for her kittens and when my daughter and I got there, we decided to take both," Flores explained. "My husband knew we were going for one kitten—the surprise was coming back with two."

"Daddy, promise not to be mad at me or mom," she tells him, before turning the carrier around to let him see inside.
"What is that?" he asks, leaning in towards the carrier with a smile on his face.
His smile then drops and his eyes widen, as he jerks upwards and exclaims in Spanish: "Dos?!"
As Laila confirms it's "two," Flores bursts out laughing—and Danny, resigned, says: "Babe. Why?"
But as he looks at his daughter smiling at the kittens, it's clear he can't actually be mad—as TikTok commenters quickly picked up on.
One commenter wrote: "Putting the daughter on the front line to deliver the news was genius," and another said: "Dad looked at his little girl smiling, looked back at you, and was like, yeah we can't give them back, huh?"

Others were in stitches at Danny's reaction, one saying: "Why is him yelling 'DOS?!' so absolutely hilarious?" and another admitting: "I watched this numerous times just to hear him say dos."
Flores, who fosters special needs children with her husband and also works in the behavioral field for the local school district, confirmed to Newsweek that all is well, and Danny "absolutely loves the kittens."
Others in the comments pointed out the benefits to getting two kittens together, one joking: "It socializes, keeps them occupied and can save your sanity. In fact, get one more just in case."
Two kittens will mentally stimulate and entertain each other, teach each other good habits such as using the litterbox and grooming, and help avoid developing pickiness when it comes to food, according to a vet-reviewed report from The Spruce Pets.

'I get messages that say the only good Muslim is a dead Muslim. I get threats on my life,' he said, choking back tears. Even the mere threat of political violence is an abomination, full stop.
