Teddi Mellencamp celebrates health achievement amid stage four cancer battle
Teddi Mellencamp celebrated new hair growth in an emotional post on social media Monday.
The former reality star, 43, who has been enjoying a new romance amid her cancer battle, shared the new using some before and after photos or her shaved head.
'Today was the first day I noticed a real change in my hair regrowth,' the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum wrote.
Mellencamp, who was diagnosed with stage four melanoma said, 'Cancer comes with so many emotions: anger, sadness, loneliness,' she wrote.
However, there are some side effects to the immunotherapy doctor have been using to save her life. 'I feel like I live in a fog, and I can't help but beat myself up on all of the ways I am falling short. I just desperately want to be back to my usual self,' she explained.
'So this little bit of hair growth, this change from May 12th (second slide) to today, June 16th, made me smile. It's amazing what my body can do.'
The photos clearly show the amazing change that took place during the dates Mellencamp referred to. Her scars from the surgery to remove four tumors from her brain were clearly visible.
Fans who were going through or had gone through something similar offered their support.
'I totally get what you are going through,' wrote one. 'I too am going through the fight of stage 4 melanoma and I have all the feelings you feel it's terrible ... you just want to be your old self... keep up the fight ...immunotherapy is amazing ... ❤️'
'My hair looks exactly the same after 6 months of grueling chemo, prayers for us both ❤️,' shared another fighter.
'Praying I know it all to well but… I just had my first haircut in over a year of growth ! Our bodies are amazing and you are doing amazing!' a fellow survivor shared.
While Teddi continues moving through the health ordeal, she has also met someone special.
DailyMail.com recently exclusively caught sight of Teddi in a clinch with her a new beau, and she has since confirmed she has a man in her life.
Mellencamp, who is separated from her husband Edwin Arroyave, defended her right to date on her Two T's in a Pod podcast with fellow 'Housewife' Tamra Judge in their June 11 episode.
'People have been coming for me about fostering a dog, and they've been coming for me for dating,' she said of the criticism she has received for these decisions.
'[They say], "The only thing she should be worried about right now are her kids and staying alive."'
'If you want to date… life doesn't stop because you have cancer,' Judge asserted.
'Yeah. And if I want to put myself in a situation where I'm staying busy so I'm not getting depressed, why have a problem with that?' the personal trailer asked rhetorically.
'Clearly, I'm not going on dates while my kids are sitting here, looking up, waiting to hang out with me.'
Mellencamp, who is a talented equestrian, has also kept up her practice of riding her horse when she feels up to it. 'The most 'normal' I feel is on a horse,' she wrote on social media.

Awkward moment fan's drink explodes over Livvy Dunne after he dropped it while giving her a hug
Former LSU gymnast Livvy Dunne made a splash at Fanatics Fest on Friday. The 22-year-old was doused in Sprite as she arrived at the event's second instalment, which brings a host of celebrities and sports fans to New York City. Tom Brady, Russell Wilson, Stephen A. Smith, Jaxson Dart and Peyton Manning were also among the star-studded attendees on Friday. But none had a more unfortunate start to their day than Dunne, who was filmed hugging a man after arriving in New York. He was holding a can of Sprite and, unfortunately for the former gymnast, the man let go of the drink while embracing Dunne. After the can hit the floor, it sent the soft drink spraying in all directions - including over Dunne. Dunne shocked social media when she appeared to make a sexual reference earlier on Friday Thankfully, however, Dunne - who was wearing blue jeans and a white sleeveless top - saw the funny side. She even apologized for her role in the chaos. It wasn't the first time on Friday that Dunne had gone viral. Earlier, the ex-gymnast sent social media into a spin after appearing to make a steamy sexual reference about herself and actress Madelyn Cline. It came after a user on X described the upcoming College World Series between LSU and Coastal Carolina as the 'Madelyn Cline vs Livvy Dunne Bowl', given the pair's previous education at the rival schools. The fairly innocent comment was then taken deep into left-field by Dunne, who surprisingly replied: 'Gooner World Series'. Fans were immediately left stunned by the apparent sexual reference posted by the gymnastics icon, with one writing: 'This can't be real.' Another added, 'had to check three times that this wasn't a parody account,' while a third noted: 'She get hacked???'

Duchess of Sussex announces launch of own wine
New products from the Duchess of Sussex's lifestyle brand have sold out in just a few hours, as she also announced she is also launching her own wine. The rose, described as having 'soft notes of stone fruit, gentle minerality, and a lasting finish', on her As Ever website, will be available to buy next month. The new range of food items that went on sale on Friday included a 'limited edition orange blossom honey' at a cost of 28 dollars (£20). Also available were an apricot spread in 'keepsake packaging', and a crepe mix, both £10 each, flower sprinkles for £11 and a range of different herbal teas at £9 for a box of 12 sachets. The new range went on sale at 4pm UK time, and had all sold out by just before 8pm. Meanwhile, a message on the homepage of the As Ever site read: 'Our debut Napa Valley rose is launching just in time for summer entertaining. 'With soft notes of stone fruit, gentle minerality, and a lasting finish, this bespoke blend is launching just in time for summer entertaining, and will be available for purchase on July 1st.' In an Instagram post at the same time as the new products went live, the California-based duchess wrote: 'Yummies, and honeys, and fruit spreads, oh my!' Meghan had promised some 'delicious surprises' as she teased, earlier this week, that she would be offering some new products on the site. She previously said the original April launch had been 'absolutely extraordinary'. But she also spoke of her fear that she annoyed customers when the first batch of her jam and herbal teas sold out in less than an hour. She said wanted to wait until it is 'completely stable and we have everything we need'. In the run-up to her re-stock, Meghan shared a photo of jam-making preparations including bowls of strawberries, raspberries and blueberries, and freshly squeezed lemons, on her Instagram stories, writing: ''June gloom?' Not over here! Because this month your favourite products are back.' Her official As Ever account also posted: 'To all who've been wondering and waiting, thank you!
