Exclusive: I tested Viture's next-gen AR glasses, and my eyes couldn't believe what they saw
Viture is close to revealing all about its next-gen AR glasses, and I got to go hands-on with them. I've been told to not talk about them until the announcement in July, but thanks to a little gift of gab, I can share a little more about my time with them.
I've seen the Reddit hype when I gave these specs Best of show at AWE 2025, so I'll do my best to navigate what I can and can't say to answer some of your questions — demonstrating why if you're in the market for a new pair of specs, you should wait for just a few more weeks.
Because honestly? These are some of the best AR glasses I've ever seen.
Let's get into the main reason most of us buy AR specs — the picture quality. In this area, the likes of Viture and Xreal have been moving forward step-by-step in offering a bigger screen, a higher quality picture and a wider field of view.
And with these upcoming specs, you'll see the biggest, brightest, sharpest, most vivid and widest screen yet. Using Sony's newest micro-OLED tech, I could definitely see an improvement in fidelity over other glasses. No confirmation on what the resolution is, but to my eyes, something is sharper here.
Then of course you've got the Viture-style color calibration that ensures a real immersively accurate warmth to every picture with the smooth refresh rate, alongside a HDR-ish inky depth to the darker moments.
As to fringing around the edges that you can see in some glasses that tout a wide field of view, there isn't any! Whatever size screen you simulate to completely fill out that display space, the corners and sides of it remain crystal clear in your near-peripheral vision.

Plus, shout-out to the new built-in functionalities (that I can't talk about yet, but get hyped for them), and the dynamic tint control across those lenses creating a near-perfect blindfold across the front.
I saw this question a little bit on the subreddits too. This isn't the first time I was exposed to 60 degrees. I saw a prototype a while back, and oh my word the bird bath prisms to pull this off were insane.
But with the new glass in these Viture specs, the company managed to nail it without adding any immediately noticeable size or weight to them on the face. They felt comfortable to wear, didn't create any strain on the nose or the tops of my ears, and were easy enough to adjust for getting the picture just right.
I can envision these continuing to be nice to wear on long journeys without any fatigue on the face, while not getting many double takes on public transport.
And that is as much as I can tell you right now before Viture's big announcement. There's no word on price of full launch yet, so you'll have to keep it locked for when the reveal happens, and I can share some more details (along with uncensored pictures) of what these specs look like!
The Xreal One Pros are the best AR glasses you can buy right now, and if you do get them, you won't be disappointed. However, I have to admit the timing is awkward.
Virtue's got a chance here, and provided the price is right, these look set to be something special!

Watch this person play The Witcher 3 on their Galaxy Watch Ultra
TL;DR A Redditor has shown off GeForce Now running on the Galaxy Watch Ultra. The user's uploaded video shows them playing The Witcher 3 on the smartwatch. The smartwatch isn't actually doing any of the heavy lifting, but it's still a cool showcase. We've already seen people running retro games on their smartwatches thanks to emulators, but it turns out that you can also play full-fledged PC games on your Wear OS watch. Then again, I'm not sure why you'd want to do so in the first place. Redditor BranaMitrovicFloyd posted a video online showing GeForce Now running on the Galaxy Watch Ultra. The user was specifically playing 2015's The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt with the aid of on-screen controls and a stylus. community on Reddit Posts from the galaxywatch community on Reddit It's worth stressing that this isn't actually running locally on the smartwatch, as GeForce Now is a game streaming service. That means NVIDIA's servers perform all the heavy lifting, and the gameplay is then streamed to your device via your internet connection. So, while this isn't a demonstration of the Galaxy Watch Ultra's horsepower, it does highlight the possibilities on this hardware. Of course, I'm not sure you'd actually want to play PC games on a smartwatch in the first place. The small screen makes things tough to see, while the virtual controls are simply too tiny for your fingers. On the upside, you can connect a Bluetooth controller to your watch if you're really committed to this endeavor. This also comes a few months after a Redditor got the PPSSPP emulator running on their Galaxy Watch 5. Emeet Reveals Pixy Is World's First AI Dual-Camera 4K PTZ Webcam

Back in February, I told you about the new Piko and Piko+ 4K webcams from Emeet. The webcams feature two lenses; one for imaging and another for AI tracking of movement and exposure. Now Emeet has announced the first dual-camera PTZ webcam with augmented AI technology. Built around a high-quality Sony 1.255-inch sensor, the Pixy webcam is adept at producing sharp images in low light levels. EMEET describes the new PIXY as 'the world's first dual-camera AI-powered PTZ 4K webcam.' The letters PTZ stands for Pan, Tilt and Zoom which means this small webcam can move through three axes so it can continuously track a subject. The zoom claim may be a bit of a stretch as there is only a 1.5x digital zoom in 1080P mode, but no zoom in 4K mode. The Pixy webcam can pan, tilt and zoom but only the zoom is limited to 1.5x digital zoom in 1080P ... More resolution. The native video output of the Pixy is 4K UHD at 30 frames per second or 1080P at 60 frames per second. The video is augmented by the second camera which acts as an AI assistant. While the main handles imaging, the other harnesses AI to track subjects, keep focus and alter exposure. Emeet claims the dual-camera system can handle challenging lighting conditions, such as backlit subjects or low-light scenes but preserving detail and optimizing the webcam's facial imaging performance. There is also an Inversion Mode for mounting the PIXY upside down, plus a vertical video-optimized Portrait Mode in a 9:16 ratio for side-mounting a webcam. To ensure privacy, the Pixy can be tilted downwards which then places the webcam into privacy mode. The webcam remains in a face-down position, clearly showing it is inoperative. The privacy mode can also be set up with an automatic timeout so it goes to sleep after a set amount of time.
