I've used £19.50 Elizabeth Arden cream since my 40s - no one can believe I'm 80

The Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference Refining Moisture Cream Complex has been a bestseller for years - and now it's half price at Boots, for a limited time only For years, Elizabeth Arden's luxury products have held their cult status among skincare fans for their high-performance formulas. Now, for a limited period, one of their most popular moisturisers, which shoppers claim makes them look 'half their age', has a massive 50% discount, saving nearly £20 on the RRP. The Visible Difference Refining Moisture Cream Complex is typically priced at £39, but from June 22-30, it's reduced to just £19.50, making it cheaper than Boots, where it's £31.20. This comes as the retailer has cut the prices of its entire Visible Difference range in preparation for the summer. This rich, emollient cream is designed to deeply hydrate and rejuvenate the skin. Its formula works by creating an occlusive barrier that locks in moisture, helping to prevent water loss throughout the day. The result is a complexion that feels nourished, smooth, and supple, with a noticeable improvement in texture and radiance. Packed with skin-loving ingredients, the cream is said to absorb quickly without leaving a greasy residue, making it suitable for all skin types, including those with dry, sensitive, or eczema-prone skin. In other news, the No7 Future Renew Night Cream is priced at £34.95. It contains a world-first peptide technology and was one of the retailer's top-selling products for 2023, reports the Manchester Evening News. Alternatively, usually £34, the Olay Regenerist 3 Point Anti-Ageing Firming Serum has been reduced to £15 at Boots. The Elizabeth Arden moisturiser is making waves with over 300 rave reviews, winning over a dedicated following who swear by its anti-ageing prowess. One octogenarian, who has been loyal to the product since her mid-forties, gushed: "I've been using visible Difference since my mid 40's. I'm now 80 and have very few, and very small wrinkles. No-one can believe I'm 80. I would recommend visible difference to anyone." Another seasoned user disclosed that half a century's commitment to the cream has kept people guessing about her age, remarking: "I have been using this product for over 50 years. It has definitely helped my skin look younger. People couldn't believe how old I was," they said. It's not just about looking younger; customers with finicky skin are also praising the product. Sharing their 14-year experience, a customer with sensitive skin shared: "I've been using this product for over 14 years now and I love it! I have sensitive skin and this cream is perfect for me . I haven't had any allergic reactions from using this moisturiser." However, not all feedback is bursting with applause; one shopper gave a lukewarm response, noting: "The cream works quite well. I thought that there was a bit too much fragrance to it. Overall happy!" Another shopper shared their love for the product: "I love this cream, the smell and the texture is awesome. The only thing I don't like is the heavy jar it comes in, very hard to travel with. A pump container would be better. Otherwise, it's perfect." Skincare enthusiasts are raving about it regardless. One satisfied customer said: "I've been using this face moisturiser for over 10 years now and it's my holy grail item. I have sensitive, dry skin and have tried other creams that are way more expensive, but always come back to this one because it's what my skin loves. It's light and hydrating. I cannot live without this, and I hope this is never discontinued. "I've been using it for over 40 years. Have minimal wrinkles. Won't start the day without it," declared a dedicated user. With a current 50% discount reducing the price to just £19.50 (originally priced at £39), there has never been a better time to stock up or try out the Visible Difference cream for the first time. The deal is available across the entire range, from the Moisturising Eye Cream and Skin Balancing Exfoliating Cleanser to the Good Morning Retexturizing Primer – perfect for anyone aiming to overhaul their skincare regimen. Keen shoppers can discover the selection here.

The Russell Hobbs Wireless Desk Fan is priced at just £24.99, making it hundreds of pounds cheaper than Dyson's popular fans. The handy gadget comes with three speed settings, low medium and high, and has a two hour battery life, so you can keep cool whilst on the go. "Choose the airflow that suits your comfort, whether it's a gentle breeze, a steady flow, or a cooler setting for warmer days". The nifty gadget comes in a variety of different colours, including green and yellow and is priced at just £7.99 making it perfect for anyone trying to pinch pennies. It also has a tiltable fan head and a practical base, so you can stand the fan up whilst sitting at your desk. The budget buy also comes with a charging cable and a three-year-warranty, so you can guarantee it will keep you cool for years to come. How to keep cool in hot weather Most of us welcome hot weather, but when it's too hot, there are health risks. Here are three ways to keep cool according to the NHS... Keep out of the heat if you can. If you have to go outside, stay in the shade especially between 11am and 3pm, wear sunscreen, a hat and light clothes, and avoid exercise or activity that makes you hotter. Cool yourself down. Have cold food and drinks, avoid alcohol, caffeine and hot drinks, and have a cool shower or put cool water on your skin or clothes. Keep your living space cool. Close windows during the day and open them at night when the temperature outside has gone down. Electric fans can help if the temperature is below 35 degrees. Check the temperature of rooms, especially where people at higher risk live and sleep. Lidl is also currently selling a Silvercrest Tower fan for £69.99, a whopping £280 cheaper than Dyson's £350 bladeless fan. Aldi is also selling a Dyson dupe, with its Ambiano Bladeless Fan currently priced at £39.99. The modern design bladeless fan has three speed settings, high, medium, low, plus three modes: normal, nature and sleep. You can customise your sleep with the various modes and tailor it to your own temperature needs during the day - and most importantly, for a good night's sleep at bedtime. Plus, with its bladeless design, it's safe around little people or pets.
