Parks & Recreation Fave Reveals 1 Reason They Avoid Rewatching The Hit Show

While many of us might tune into shows like Parks & Recreation for a pick-me-up when we're feeling blue, it turns out it has the adverse effect on one of its cast members.
Speaking on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, former Parks & Rec star Adam Scott admitted he avoids watching the show, if possible, as revisiting it makes him too sad.
'It makes me sad to see the show, because I miss them and I miss all the actors,' the Severance star shared, pointing out that 'even though we're constantly in touch and stuff', he still massively misses his time making the award-winning sitcom.
He recalled: 'It was a really joyful five years — for me, seven years for the show — getting to go work there every day with that group of people.
'We had so much fun and we're making something that meant something to people; it meant something to us. I miss everyone.'
Adam began playing Ben Wyatt in the season two finale of Parks & Recreation, becoming a full-time cast member when its third run began.
While Ben and Amy Poehler's character Leslie Knope initially got off to a tough start, they quickly became entangled in a romance, with their love story forming a major part of what made the show so great in its final years.
The Emmy nominee also revealed that he and the rest of the cast are still in a group chat, which gets updated about once a week.
Describing his former colleagues, including Aubrey Plaza, Chris Pratt, Rob Lowe and Nick Offerman, as 'the best', he insisted: 'No one took it for granted. We all had a blast.
'I know people say that about their shows. It's annoying, but it really was so fun, and everyone got that it was special, and no one was sick of going to work.'
Adam's latest TV venture is at the complete other end of the spectrum to Parks & Rec, once again taking the lead in the second season of Apple's surreal and dystopian workplace drama Severance.

Ex-Devil Wears Prada drummer Daniel Williams survived mass shooting years before he's killed in plane crash

The heavy metal drummer among those killed when a private jet crashed into homes in San Diego this week had survived a deadly mass shooting six years earlier. Daniel Williams, a founding member of The Devil Wears Prada, posted photos of himself sitting in the cockpit of the doomed Cessna 550 plane just hours before it crashed in a fireball early Thursday, killing all six people on board, including music industry big shot David Shapiro. The tragedy came after he once cheated death when trapped in the Ned Peppers bar in Dayton, Ohio, in 2019 when gunman Connor Betts opened fire, killing nine people and wounding 27 others. 'I was in Ned Peppers. I'm still not sure exactly what happened,' the drummer had posted online at the time. 'People were piling on top of each other to get out. It's all a blur. F–king awful.' The 39-year-old musician was also celebrating a new job, which he announced online exactly a week before catching the doomed flight from Teterboro in New Jersey late Wednesday. 'I'm very excited to share that I've accepted a software engineering role at Apple,' he wrote in celebration on May 14.. 'It's been really tough to say goodbye to my friends and colleagues of nearly 8 years at GoPro, but it's time for my next chapter. It's time to help build the future,' he wrote. Hours before the crash, Williams shared haunting photos from the private plane, including some inside the cockpit as he said he was flying back with Shapiro, 42, the co-founder of Sound Talent Group (STG). 'Hey. Hey… you… look at me… I'm the (co)pilot now,' the drummer wrote with a view of the aircraft controls and windshield. 'Here we goooooo,' the second post reads, with the yoke between his legs. Williams and Shapiro were killed when the jet smacked into a power line in foggy conditions and crashed in Murphy Canyon, a San Diego neighborhood housing military families, around 3:45 a.m. Thursday, according to the Federal Aviation Administration. Officials have yet to ID all on board, but confirmed there were no survivors. Remarkably, nobody on the ground was killed when the plane exploded on impact and caused massive fires, caused by the jet fuel. More than a dozen homes were damaged. Williams' former Devil Wears Prada band members confirmed the founding member's death in social media posts Thursday. 'No words. We owe you everything. Love you forever,' the band wrote in an Instagram post. Williams joined The Devil Wears Prada during its inception in 2005, a year before the blockbuster movie with the same name. He left in 2016. Shapiro, 42, co-founded Sound Talent Group (STG), whose clients include bands Sum 41, Story of the Year and Parkway Drive. His talent agency confirmed his death. 'We are devastated by the loss of our co-founder, colleagues and friends … Thank you so much for respecting their privacy at this time,' the agency said in a statement shared with Billboard. The two men were lovingly remembered by music industry insiders across social media. 'Rest in Peace Dave Shapiro, Daniel Williams, and everyone on that flight. Dan Bucatinsky on if ‘The Comeback' Season 3 could happen

We cherish this idea. Twenty years after HBO gave viewers the beloved sitcom 'The Comeback,' starring Lisa Kudrow, fans may be in store for a Season 3. Kudrow, 61, played sitcom vet Valerie Cherish — a woman desperate to revive her career. The original show aired in 2005 before returning for Season 2 in 2014. 'We would hang out in this little greenroom area at our chairs,' Bucatinsky reminisced. 'We would talk. We would keep each other warm. We would go get tea. We would go get snacks. We would ask each other for advice about everything. Recommendations of movies and documentaries and doctors. And talk about our kids and our pets. And it was really an opportunity in between scenes to really get to know one another.'
