Lindsay Lohan Shares Rare Glimpse of 23-Month-Old Son Luai as She Celebrates Husband Bader Shammas' Birthday

Yahoo4 days ago

Lindsay Lohan is giving a peek at her little one.
On Tuesday, June 17, the Freakier Friday star, 38, posted a photo on Instagram of her husband Bader Shammas and their 23-month-old son Luai in honor of Shammas' birthday. In the snap, Shammas can be seen wearing a striped shirt and sunglasses, putting his hand on his son's chair and leaning over.
Luai wears a white graphic T-shirt and blue shorts, placing his two hands on his dad's arm as they look ahead at the people passing by.
"Happy Birthday to the love of my life. You're an incredible son, a devoted husband, and the most amazing father," Lohan sweetly wrote in her caption. "Watching you with our family is the greatest gift. You make us feel safe, cherished, and loved."

Lohan and Shammas welcomed their son in July 2023.
In the past, Lohan has been open about wanting to grow her family. While speaking with Elle for their summer cover story, the star shared that she's interested in giving her son Luai a sibling.
"I feel like we live in a different world now, where women make it such a point, especially in motherhood, to make time for ourselves," she told the outlet. "We make it important. But also, once you have one kid, you're like, 'Oh, my kid needs a kid to play with.'"
Asked if adding to her family is the headspace that she's in right now, Lohan responded, 'I'm like, 'He needs a friend.'"
Lohan, who has three siblings of her own, said there is nothing like the experience of having a brother or sister.
"There's nothing like that," she said. "Also, I don't know if it's selfish — but I'm like, 'I need more than one kid to take care of me when I'm older.'"
In the same interview, Lohan spoke with Chloe Fineman and was asked by the Saturday Night Live star if she's able to keep her same routine as she switches locations between Dubai, New York and Los Angeles.
"I try. It's hard in L.A. Even taking my son the park in L.A., I get stressed," Lohan said of her son Luai. "I'm like, 'Are there cameras?' In New York, there's no worry; no one bothers us. Everyone has their own thing going on."
"There's a different kind of energy in New York. I'd rather have downtime in New York than I would in L.A. But the nice thing about L.A. is, I like space [and you get that here]," she continued. "But I'm thinking as I'm saying this, the funny thing is, in Dubai I get all of those things. I get privacy, I get the peace, I get the space. I don't have to worry there; I feel safe."

Will Forte Says ‘SNL' Should Have ‘Retired' George W. Bush Impressions After Will Ferrell, Admits His Version Was a ‘Letdown': ‘It's Like Trying to Replace the Church Lady'

Will Forte admits Will Ferrell is a tough act to follow. While chatting with fellow 'Saturday Night Live' alum Amy Poehler on her 'Good Hang' podcast, Forte, who joined the show in 2002 after Ferrell's final season, discussed the burden of playing George W. Bush on 'SNL.' More from Variety Amy Poehler Says 'SNL' Actors 'All Played People We Should Not Have... 'It was, like, 17 people, you're trying to get you're stuff on, you're trying to get noticed. And then I got, somehow, the George Bush role.' Although it was a great opportunity to prove himself, Forte explained that impressions were not his strong suit, and that his placement in the role of Bush was 'a match not made in heaven.' On top of that, Ferrell's take on Bush is one of the most iconic impersonations in 'SNL' history, setting Forte's bar impossibly high. 'Will Ferrell was George Bush! He was George W. Bush. He was so good at it. Anybody replacing…it's like trying to replace the Church Lady,' he said in reference to Dana Carvey's immortal 'SNL' character. 'Trying to have somebody else do that…he made it such his own thing. They should have just retired it.' 'But of course, you can't retire the sitting president on 'SNL,'' Forte added. He went on to say that he felt his take on the 43rd president was ultimately a 'letdown.' Forte was on 'SNL' for eight seasons, leaving the show in 2010. Most recently, Forte has appeared in shows such as 'The Four Seasons,' 'The Great North,' 'Bob's Burgers,' 'Sweet Tooth' and 'Clone High.' Where to Eat, Drink and Chill in Kauai's Tastiest Beach Town

Before traveling to Hawaii for the first time, I spent hours browsing through Instagram and TikTok foodie posts. Gathering ideas for all the delicious meals I'd eat, I had high expectations for the food in Poipu Beach, located on the south shore of Kauai. As it turns out, this island's food scene impressed me even more than expected. From nicer, more sophisticated spots like Red Salt Restaurant to quick bar bites at Kalapaki Joe's, check out these best Kauai food and drink spots on your next visit. These must-visit restaurants in Kauai won't let you down. I love Indian food and will make a point to grab it during any trip. This tucked-away restaurant, "That Indian Place", has excellent food and will adjust to your spice preferences. I ordered the butter chicken (mild) and the chicken sagwala (mild), along with some garlic naan bread. The local atmosphere and outdoor dining patio really made this place stand out as one of my favorite spots to eat throughout the whole trip. Top menu items Mango LassiButter ChickenChicken Tikka MasalaChicken SagwalaPaneer Tikka Stop by Brennecke's Beach Broiler as you stroll along Poipu Beach for a lively, vibrant atmosphere. Locals and visitors alike know this top spot as one of the best places for food and drink on Kauai. While crowded, you can grab some phenomenal bites here as well as tropical-style frozen cocktails. I loved the desserts here too. If you plan on doing some appetizer or bar hopping along the main strip, definitely make this restaurant/bar a must-visit spot. Top menu items Seafood Pupu PlatterMango MadnessLava Lava FlowPineapple Rum Upside Down Cake If you want to try a Loco Moco, stop by Red Salt Restaurant, attached to the beautiful Ko'a Kea Resort. This spot served the best Loco Moco I had while in Hawaii. A Loco Moco is a Hawaiian favorite comfort food, made with white rice, gravy, a hamburger patty, and topped with a fried egg. It sounds interesting, but trust me once you try it, you'll want to order it time and time again. The ocean views from this restaurant also set the scene for a nice meal. Top menu items Lemon Pineapple PancakesLoco Moco Acai Bowl Unlike other islands with numerous national chains, Kauai offers a more locally inspired dining scene. This laid-back, down-to-earth island provides numerous options for fresh, local seafood, including mahimahi, ahi tuna, and ono. The island also has many traditional Hawaiian plates to try. I highly recommend trying at least one classic Hawaiian dish, such as the Loco Moco, during your visit. You'll also find spam musubi almost everywhere, another classic food in Kauai. All About David Corenswet's Wife, Julia Warner

Superman actor David Corenswet plays a man leading an epic double-life. The star has some experience there, because he keeps his off-screen world extremely private. Corenswet is married to his wife, Julia Best Warner, with whom he shares one child. But his Instagram is almost entirely promotion for the upcoming DC flick and he has shared very little info about his family. Here's everything that is known about Warner and her relationship with the superhero. Like Corenswet, Warner is an actor. Per her LinkedIn profile, she studied Fine Arts in Theater Arts Acting at Point Park University in Pittsburgh. According to her IMDb page, she has also tried her hand at producing and directing, and has credits with The Baby Sitters Pub, Ratched, and Pretty Little Things. In 2018, she wrote a tribute to her work at the Pittsburgh Playhouse. She seems to be close to her family, and posted about cutting down the family Christmas tree with other Warners in 2020. And she and Corenswet share a Cavalier King Charles spaniel named Ira: 'He's less of a doggy, more of a toddler,' Corenswet told People, adding that the seven-year-old dog 'has a wonderful mohawk, a natural tuft of hair right between his eyes, which is the reason he's disqualified from being shown [making him] adoptable.' According to an interview with People in June 2025, the pair met as teenagers at a Pennsylvania summer theater program and had a 'slow-burn' romance. They were married in March 2023. In 2022, Warner shared a carousel of pics that included Corenswet. Corenswet and Warner welcomed a daughter in 2024, though they have kept her name private. In his interview with People, Corenswet said, 'I feel like I've been a dad for a long time, and just waiting for a kid to prove it. My dad was an enthusiastic father and stayed home with my sister for a period when she was very little, and was very good with kids. And so I think I just inherited that. I liked being a camp counselor, and I have terrible jokes that nobody laughs at.' The baby arrived in close conjunction with the beginning of his Superman journey, prompting him to add, 'Two big unknown things at the same time. And they were both great things.'
