In the snap, Shammas can be seen wearing a striped shirt and sunglasses, putting his hand on his son's chair and leaning over. Luai wears a white graphic T-shirt and blue shorts, placing his two hands on his dad's arm as they look ahead at the people passing by. "Happy Birthday to the love of my life. Lohan and Shammas welcomed their son in July 2023. In the past, Lohan has been open about wanting to grow her family. While speaking with Elle for their summer cover story, the star shared that she's interested in giving her son Luai a sibling. "I feel like we live in a different world now, where women make it such a point, especially in motherhood, to make time for ourselves," she told the outlet. "We make it important. But also, once you have one kid, you're like, 'Oh, my kid needs a kid to play with.'" Asked if adding to her family is the headspace that she's in right now, Lohan responded, 'I'm like, 'He needs a friend.'" Lohan, who has three siblings of her own, said there is nothing like the experience of having a brother or sister. "There's nothing like that," she said. "Also, I don't know if it's selfish — but I'm like, 'I need more than one kid to take care of me when I'm older.'" In the same interview, Lohan spoke with Chloe Fineman and was asked by the Saturday Night Live star if she's able to keep her same routine as she switches locations between Dubai, New York and Los Angeles. Lindsay Lohan credits her ability to juggle her hectic work schedule as an actress and her responsibilities as a mom to her consistent, yet simple, morning routine. Lohan, who's promoting her "Freakier Friday" sequel, starts off each day like many other people — with mindfulness, a meal and a workout. "I love having a routine, and I like schedules," she said in a May 27 interview with Elle. "So, my morning routine: Waking up, writing in my journal, sipping my green tea, breakfast with my son. And then Pilates, making sure I go." A decade ago, Lohan moved to Dubai for a reset. There, she met her husband, Bader Shammas, and in 2023, had her son, Luai. Around that time, she'd just ended a long break from acting. Though she's constantly back and forth from her home overseas to New York and Los Angeles, she tries to keep the same routine. "It's hard in L.A. Even taking my son to the park in L.A., I get stressed," said Lohan, 38. "It's all about balance and, as I said, routine. Especially when you have a kid, routine is the most important thing. And whatever their routine is, I've got to live by that." Her commitment to self-care and having a consistent morning regimen, she added, came from a lesson from her co-star and work mom, Jamie Lee Curtis, who taught her "to always take care of yourself first. Robbins learned the lesson firsthand unintentionally after not paying attention to her own mental health early in parenthood. That seemed to lead to increased stress and anxiety in her child. Starting your day with mindfulness, physical activity or time with your kids — as opposed to checking your emails or calendar — can boost your happiness and fulfillment, experts say. Journaling every morning, as Lohan does, can have a real impact: Just 15 minutes a day can help you clarify your thoughts and feelings, improve your problem solving skills and even help you recover from trauma, bestselling authors Deepak Chopra and Kabir Sehgal wrote for CNBC Make It in July 2019. Putting pen to paper at least three to five days a week could significantly improve your physical and mental health, they said. They recommended reflecting on topics like advice you'd give your younger self, or 10 things you wish other people knew about you. "If you're new to journaling, the easiest way to begin is to find a time and place where you won't be disturbed, and just start writing," they wrote. Dedicating a portion of your morning to having fun is important too, says psychologist Laura Pendergrass, who advises Fortune 500 companies. "Self-care in the form of fun is just as important as anything else we do to take care of ourselves," she said in 2022. "We recognize the importance of recess for kids and build it into their school time, but we forget the importance of play as adults. Or at least, she doesn't until the girls switch bodies with Tess and Anna. Fans of the first film can expect to see the return of Mark Harmon, Chad Michael Murray, Christina Vidal Mitchell, Haley Hudson, Lucille Soong, Stephen Tobolowsky and Rosalind Chao.. Wrong-side parking earns Gurugram traffic police ₹4.61 cr in fines in 5 mnths
The Gurugram traffic police have issued fines totalling ₹4.61 crore to 85,415 motorists for wrong-side parking violations in the first five months of 2025, officers said on Saturday. The drive, conducted under Sections 122 and 177 of the Motor Vehicle Act, was aimed at curbing congestion and improving road safety, particularly in commercial and high-traffic zones, they added. Deputy commissioner of police (traffic) Rajesh Kumar Lohan said that wrong-side parking creates bottlenecks, leading to severe traffic snarls. 'Vehicles parked anywhere along the road result in severe traffic snarls as they eat up a major chunk of the lanes and cause bottlenecking. Even one or two wrongly parked vehicles can cause jams stretching up to 100-200 metres,' he added. To enforce the rules, traffic police used wheel locks and cranes to tow away vehicles. 'In case of towing, charges for the crane are also imposed on the violator,' Lohan added. According to traffic police data, in January, 19,272 violators were fined ₹1.05 crore, followed by 17,511 in February ( ₹98.17 lakh), 15,446 in March ( ₹77.23 lakh), 12,406 in April ( ₹62.03 lakh), and 20,780 in May ( ₹1.18 crore). Officials identified MG Road, Golf Course Road, Sohna Road, August Kranti Marg, Sadar Bazaar, and metro station zones such as Iffco Chowk, Sikanderpur, and Dronacharya as hotspots for wrong-side parking. Many violators include cab, auto-rickshaw, and e-rickshaw drivers waiting to pick up passengers near metro stations, contributing to chaos, especially during peak hours, they added. 'Auto rickshaws or e-rickshaws often stop right on the road to lift passengers, causing snarls and even collisions, as people are often in a hurry,' said a zonal officer, requesting anonymity. In old city areas like Sadar Bazaar, narrow roads are further congested by residents who park vehicles directly outside shops, ignoring traffic rules. 'Even on Golf Course Road and Sohna Road, people leave vehicles roadside while shopping, often resisting enforcement efforts,' said a senior traffic officer, also asking not to be named. Residents echoed the need for stricter enforcement. 'MG Road traffic is smooth when police crack down on autos and rickshaws. On other days, its chaos,' said Pranav Yadav, a Sector 28 resident. DCP Lohan, meanwhile, added that the drive will continue, and challans are being audited to impound vehicles of habitual offenders.
