Dhoni wins hearts with his kind gesture
The best moment came when the man cutting the cake turned to offer Dhoni a slice. Dhoni quickly pointed towards a woman nearby and said jokingly, 'Pehle Kaaki ko khilao, aapko ghar mein rehna hai. Hum toh chale jayengey.'
Later in the video, when someone tried to offer him another slice of cake, Dhoni politely declined at first and said it should go to the kids. After that, he accepted a small piece for himself.

Sai Sudharshan's Pre-Batting Routine Goes Viral, Gives 'Rahul Dravid' Deja Vu To Fans
Young batter Sai Sudharsan finally got a chance to make a Test debut for India but his beginning was quite disappointing. Sudharsan, who plays for Gujarat Titans in the IPL, was dismissed for a duck in the first innings. However, he showed some zeal and scored 30 off 48 balls before getting dismissed by Ben Stokes in the second innings. The 23-year-old batter is known for his brilliant shots and will be eager to contribute more in the upcoming Tests against England. During second innings on Day 3, the cameraman captured a brilliant moment of Sudharsan, when he was trying to meditate before coming out to bat. In a video going viral on social media, Sudharsan was seen holding a ball and focussing on it, in order to mentally prepare himself to bat. He was later seen taking down some notes on a paper and doing some analysis of the game. Focus. Visualise. Execute Great innings begin long before the first ball #SonySportsNetwork #GroundTumharaJeetHamari #ENGvIND #NayaIndia #DhaakadIndia #TeamIndia — Sony Sports Network (@SonySportsNetwk) June 22, 2025 Notably, former India coach Rahul Dravid is popular for writing down notes during the game. He used to maintain the scorecard of the match in his notebook and analyze it later to prepare for the next match. KL Rahul drove his way to a sublime 47 after England negated India's advantage by totalling 465 in their first innings as the visitors had another ordinary day in the field on day three of the first Test. India dropped as many as five catches and barring Jasprit Bumrah, the effort from the pacers left a lot to be desired, allowing England to even out the game after the Shubman Gill -led side posted 471 in its first essay. At stumps, India reached 90 for two with Rahul (47 batting off 75) and Shubman Gill (6 batting off 10). Brydon Carse had Yashavi Jaiswal (4 off 11) caught behind with a ball that seamed away while Ben Stokes got rid of debutant Sai Sudharsan (30 off 48) for the second time in the game, the southpaw's flick falling into the hands of Zak Crawley at mid-wicket. Rahul was a delight to watch as he majority of his seven fours came via the cove driver off the fast bowlers. He did not look any discomfort whatsoever despite the ball doing a bit in overcast conditions. Stumps were drawn when rain arrived at Headingley with India leading by 96 runs.

Rishabh Pant rejects Sunil Gavaskar's somersault request from the stand after completing twin centuries: 'Maybe later'
Jun 23, 2025 08:14 PM IST The legacy of Rishabh Pant continues to grow as the wicketkeeper batter completed his twin century in the ongoing Headingley Test between India and England at Leeds. Pant, who smashed 134 in the first innings, became just the second keeper-batter after Zimbabwe great Andy Flower to score back-to-back hundreds in a Test match, when he scored his 8th Test ton. Pant fell for 118 but had done his job as India swelled their lead over England to 293 and counting. Pant also joins Dilip Vengsarkar, Sachin Tendulkar, and only a select few to score four Test centuries in England. Not even Virat Kohli has that many. Sunil Gavaskar's somersault request for Rishabh Pant wasn't convincing enough(Screengrab) Surprisingly though, there was no somersault celebration from Pant this time around. He did it the first time in the IPL 2025, when he smashed only his second century in the history of the league during Lucknow Super Giants' last match of the season, and then brought it out again two days ago on Day 2 of the Headingley Test. So when Pant did not swing his body around, it caught a few by surprise, including the legendary Sunil Gavaskar. In fact, the Little Master requested Pant to pull it off, gesturing with his hands, but Pant refused to listen to Gavaskar, who, just 48 hours ago, replaced his infamous 'stupid, stupid, stupid' remark with 'superb, superb, superb'. "Maybe later," said Sanjay Manjrekar on air. Watch the video below: Unstoppable Rishabh Pant In the firing line for his flop show in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy earlier this year – he had scored 255 runs from nine innings across five Tests – Pant has already scored 252, with four more matches left. Pant's carnage, along with KL Rahul's calm, ensured India push themselves to a stage from where they cannot lose the match. With an eye on setting England a huge total, they would rather fancy their chances of giving the hosts a scare when Jasprit Bumrah gets the ball in his hand.
