Ferrari woes aside, Lewis Hamilton believes that team Principal Fred Vasseur is the man to lead them through the dark tunnel of imbalance they find themselves in. Hamilton was speaking to the press in Montreal, Canada ahead of the 10th race of the season.
It's also one of the most sentimental races on the calendar for the 40-year-old British driver, because it's where he won his first race as a rookie 18 years ago for McLaren.
To give you some context as to the longevity of Hamilton's career: from the time he won his first F1 race, Kimi Antonelli was born, went to school, started karting, graduated karting, went into Formula 1, succeeded there and made his way to F1.

In all that time, Hamilton still remained one of the top contenders for the World Title and still does to this day. Hamilton's debut win was crowned with record breaking feats, as he was the first black person to win a F1 race.
It was only six races deep into his maiden season but the rookie still stayed ahead of his season teammate Fernando Alonso and won the race. The 2007 Canadian Grand Prix affirmed in the minds of people what was only speculated at the time: Lewis Hamilton is the next big thing in F1.
Since then, Hamilton's won 7 races in Canada, equaling Michael Schumacher's record for the most wins.
There's no denying the 2025 Canadian GP will be even more special than his first race, given the fact that he's fighting for an eighth World Title this season and its with the most decorated F1 team.
Although he hasn't been able to put up much of a fight due to a slow and unbalanced car, Hamilton has still fought for every one of the 71 points he's earned this season.
He voiced his commitment towards Vasseur's leadership even amidst the troubles team Ferrari have experienced in public view.

That was the end of his time with England, although he made a brief comeback for Bristol-based Gloucestershire, playing four four-first class games in 1997 before retiring for good after taking 625 wickets for the county. He later became president of Gloucestershire, with his old county saying in a social media post Sunday that they were "devastated" to learn of Lawrence's death. Following his MND diagnosis, there were emotional scenes when Gloucestershire won the T20 Blast final at Edgbaston last year, with captain James Bracey presenting the trophy to Lawrence. His MND diagnosis also hastened Lawrence's autobiography amid fears he would lose the ability to speak. Titled 'In Syd's Voice', and written with the help of cricket journalist Dean Wilson, the book was published this month. England and Wales Cricket Board chairman Richard Thompson hailed Lawrence as a "true trailblazer" who became a "powerful voice for inclusion and representation in our sport". There was a minute's applause in honour of Lawrence before the start of the third day's play in the first Test between England and India at Headingley on Sunday, with players and officials also wearing black armbands as a mark of respect. Tragic Chatsworth crash claims life of man in fiery vehicle blaze
A man died in a crash on the M1 Higginson Highway on Saturday. Image: ALS Paramedics / Facebook A man believed to be in his forties tragically lost his life in a horrific crash on the M1 Higginson Highway Eastbound, just before the Havenside robots in Chatsworth, on Saturday evening. ALS Paramedics reported that the incident occurred just before 6pm. Multiple ambulances and advanced life support teams responded to the scene. 'Initial reports were that a vehicle had somehow lost control and collided with a tree before the vehicle burst into flames,' ALS Paramedics Garrith Jamieson said. On arrival, paramedics found that the vehicle was already on fire, and the eThekwini Fire Department was actively working to extinguish the blaze. 'The driver, believed to be the only occupant in the vehicle, unfortunately, was unable to get out of the vehicle in time and passed away on the scene,' the paramedics said. Divisional Commander Nkulumo Dube of eThekwini Municipality Fire & Emergency Services confirmed that a fire engine was dispatched just before 6pm on Saturday to attend to the crash, where firefighters found a bakkie engulfed in flames after colliding with trees. Springbok fire still burns fiercely for Eben Etzebeth: ‘My ultimate drive'
The second row two-time World Cup winner is as motivated as ever to run out for the Springboks. Springbok enforcer Eben Etzebeth has won almost everything possible in rugby, and is set to go down as one of the greatest players in Springbok and international history. The 33-year-old's major achievements include two World Cups, two Rugby Championships, two South African player of the year awards, British & Irish Lions series winner, while he is also a three time World Rugby player of the year nominee. He has captained the Springboks on a number of occasions, and last year became the most capped Springbok player of all time, passing fellow lock legend Victor Matfield's record of 127 caps, with him now sitting on 131. 'Ultimate goal' Heading into another big international season Etzebeth said that the fire to put on the green and gold still burned brightly for him, and that he was looking forward to another strong season. 'For me, it's putting on the jersey one more time. I think that's the ultimate goal. That's my ultimate drive in rugby. I think the day the Bok jersey is not there anymore, and I can't play for it, it will be a very sad day for me personally,' said Etzebeth. 'So that motivates me. When I'm injured, when I have setbacks, to come back thinking that I might have an opportunity to represent South Africa. To run out at a full Loftus or Cape Town Stadium or wherever in South Africa, that's the ultimate feeling, the ultimate drive.
