Boots is our go-to shopping destination for all things beauty and health supplements, of course. But in recent times, the leading health and beauty retailer has upped the ante with its limited edition boxes.
From its Wellness Box, Easter hamper, to the Premium Hair Beauty Edit, and Mother's Day bundle, Boots has released a variety of expertly-curated bundles to suit your needs. The latest addition is the Festival Edit Beauty Bag, which is perfectly timed with Glastonbury Festival just weeks away.
The beauty (pardon the pun) about the Boots boxes is they retail for much less than what the contents inside is worth. Take the Festival Edit Beauty Bag, it fetches £45 but contains £161.34 worth of products inside.
This 13-piece edit has been expertly curated to include haircare, bodycare, skincare and make-up cosmetics to see you from day to night and for days on end. Big brands including Luna Daily, Kylie Cosmetics, Biore, Milk Makeup and Too Faced are included in the bundle. BUY NOW FOR £45 (Worth £161.34)
The 13-piece edit covers all bases for those heading to a festival this summer, as it features a variety of haircare, skincare, SPF, bodycare, make-up cosmetics and hygiene products (IYKYK). Among the 13 products are nine full size items, which is a rare treat.
The Boots Festival Edit Beauty Bag includes all the essentials to see you through the muddiest of festivals when showers are not accessible. The products are from leading beauty brands, including Milk Makeup, Luna Daily, Too Faced, Kylie Cosmetics and many more.
Some of the well thought out products included are Luna Daily The Everywhere Spray to Wipe, which we all know will be the most used product in a festival. The bundle also features Skin + Me Daily Moisturiser with SPF 50, Bioré UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence SPF50, Milk Makeup Cooling Water Jelly Tint, and the viral Sachau Lip Liner.
Other key beauty products when it comes to travelling and festivals are dry shampoo and fragrance, thankfully this bundle includes Monday Haircare Original Dry Shampoo and Sol De Janeiro's Cheirosa 68 Perfume Mist.
The set also features a variety of make-up cosmetics, including Kylie Cosmetics Kylash Volume Mascara, Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze Deluxe, Too Faced Kissing Jelly Gloss and The Beauty Crop Dewy Bounce Setting Mist to hold your make-up look for hours on end, whatever the weather. The bundle also includes an additional set of Eylure false lashes, which could be the Pre-Glued Cluster Lashes Natural or Eylure Volume & Curl Lashes Clusters No. 9, both of which come in a cluster of 30 lashes.

Like always, the Boots beauty bundles are limited edition so when they sell out they're gone for good. So it goes without saying this kit is hot property for festival-goers, and we urge you to shop it quickly before it's too late.

'Perfect for festival' Amazon tent reduced in time for Glastonbury
Glastonbury Festival starts in a few days and this tent is said to be 'easy to put up and take down', making it ideal for summer events Amazon shoppers are flocking to buy a tent that's 'perfect' for festivals in the run-up to Glastonbury. The Amazon Basics Dome Camping Tent would usually be £56.99 but has dropped down to £39.99 in a limited time deal. Glastonbury kicks off this coming Wednesday, June 25, and for festival-goers who are yet to source their camp set-up, Amazon's next-day delivery could be a last-minute solution. The tent is water resistant with inverted seams to prevent rain from getting through. It's described as easy to put up and take down, a must for many in festival environments. It comes in a few sizes, starting with a spacious two-man tent. For those looking for something a little more spacious, the Eurohike Sendero 4 Family Tent is currently reduced from £300 to £104 with room for four people to sleep as well as having space for bags. Halfords also has a massive eight person tent, but at £185 it's not the most budget-friendly option on the market. The Amazon Basics tent has brought in over 2000 five-star ratings on the shopping giant. One shopper was thrilled with how easy it was to put together, and said: "This was so quick and easy to put up and take down, and it all fit back in the very compact bag without too much of a struggle. "In our case, it was, literally, child's work, as the 12-year olds put it up and took it down themselves, only needed help when folding it back up in the right shape to fit in the bag. (The bag is a rectangle with two handles, which is not suitable for carrying long distances.) "Four youngsters fit comfortably inside, four fully grown adults would be ok if the gear is left elsewhere. We were lucky with the weather, so we can't assess the water tightness, though it looks like it would do fine if properly assembled. "It can get hot inside in the sun, but the open mesh all around helps a lot with ventilation, and the waterproof rainfly is completely removable for complete air circulation. Good quality for money, surpassed expectations, and super quick delivery." Another was thrilled, saying: "I took this tent to the Download Festival 2022 for 5 nights camping. It was easy to put up (I had a practice run at home to make sure it was ok) and was pretty easy to pack up. "The groundsheet of the tent seemed a little thin, but no tears on this occasion. Double layer means you don't have to worry about ingress of water, which was great. "Yes, I was happy with this, surprised I didn't see another one there. The value was great." It is worth noting that some shoppers were disappointed by the insulation in the tent, with one writing: "Great cheap tent but not for any Cold nights, I used this in summer when it was 10 degrees at night and not windy and we were freezing. "Two of the side panels are mesh, so very breezy - great for a hot summer night but wouldn't advise using beyond that. If you're looking for a cheap tent for camping with friends and nothing heavy duty, then this is perfect." It does seem that those who have bought the tent with a festival in mind have been quite impressed, another shopper said: " Perfect for camping/festivals / beach, etc comes with a storage bag to store the tent in after use. "The tent has plenty of ventilation options to help prevent it from getting to warm inside so allowing you to easily create a comfortable environment inside. Overall, a very well-made four-person tent which is generous inside, provides more than enough protection against most of the elements, easy to put up and great value for money suitable for all kinds of outdoor activities." The Amazon Basics Dome Camping Tent with Rainfly and Carry Bag is now available for £39.99.

Paramotorer soars through the skies above Glastonbury Festival
A man who spends his free time soaring through the skies says seeing Glastonbury Festival come to life is an "incredible process to watch". From Wednesday to next Sunday, Worthy Farm in Somerset will host one of the world's biggest outdoor music Pearce, a local paramotorer, regularly flies above the 1,100-acre site as it is set up and describes it as a "small city". "We're normally flying over farmland, so with Glastonbury... it's quite a spectacle to see," he said. The 57-year-old, who runs Launch It Paramotoring, frequently ascends to altitudes of 2000ft while strapped into his powered paraglider, which he calls "a lawn chair with an engine on [its] back"."There is no cockpit around you, so you're just sitting out in the open," he said."It's an amazing feeling, you can smell everything and feel the wind all around you. You have totally unobstructed views."Mr Pearce said it takes around two months for the festival to be built, but he spots an exciting new addition each time he floats above it. "I get the privilege to be able to do this, not many people get to fly over it and see what goes on while it's being prepared," he said. "They're basically building a small city, really, so it's quite amazing to see. It's always interesting to watch, and you see a massive difference week to week as they're building it." The paramotoring coach says he has no plans to attend the festival this year, but will catch it from the sky instead. "I prefer being up there on my own anyway, rather than on the ground with 100,000 people around me," he laughed. Glastonbury 2025 will be headlined by The 1975, Neil Young, and Olivia Rodrigo.

'Mortified' Pulp fan blasts Jarvis Cocker after he mocked her as a teen
A Pulp fan has accused frontman Jarvis Cocker of mocking her onstage after claiming an embarrassing anecdote he told at a recent show was about her. Former self-confessed 'mega fan' Ruth Husko attended the band's reunion tour show at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham on Thursday night in support of Pulp's new album More, their first one in 24 years. She said she was 'absolutely mortified' to hear the singer reminisce about a former audience member's behaviour at another gig in the city in the late 1990s and realise that he was allegedly speaking about her. Sharing a photo from the gig to X, Ruth began her post by saying she had been enjoying the show 'immensely' until Cocker, 61, started talking about Pulp's 1998 gig at the NEC. She recalled that he had explained how balloons were supposed to fall from the ceiling during the gig, but he had struggled to release them properly from the net – resulting in just one single balloon falling out. Ruth wrote: 'He went on to describe how a woman at the front of the crowd had grabbed that sole balloon and then he did a little impression of the woman, really enthusiastically waving the balloon around like a moron for the rest of the show. 'He summed it up saying it was the most humiliating experience of his life and everyone laughed.' To her horror, this is when Ruth claims it dawned on her that the woman the Common People hitmaker was talking about was, in fact, her – aged 15. She continued: 'Ladies and gentlemen: that woman was 15 years old, and I know because it was me. 'I was a Pulp mega fan back then and would've done anything for Jarvis to acknowledge my existence. Now he's doing an impression of me looking like a f*****g dollop in front of an audience of thousands.' However, she then made a little dig back, adding: 'Was absolutely mortified, but at least I didn't dress up as Rolf Harris for Celebrity Stars in Their Eyes (2002).' In 2014, Harris was convicted on twelve counts of indecent assault against four female victims, aged between eight and 19. He served nearly three years of his five years and nine months sentence, before dying aged 93 in May 2023. He had always denied any wrongdoing. In a follow-up tweet, Ruth also shared that she found it funny Cocker had described her as a woman, despite being only a teenager at the time. 'In 1998 I was still a child. Having said that I was 5ft 9in, obese and used to wear a Caterpillar jacket. I looked like a divorced bricklayer from Stoke,' she added. Pulp scored their first number one album in 27 years this month with More, having last topped the charts with This Is Hardcore in 1998. There have also been rumours running rampant that Pulp is the true identity of secret act Patchwork, set to grace the stage at the 2025 Glastonbury Festival next weekend. Popular tip account SecretGlasto seemingly 'confirmed' the news that it would be Pulp taking to the Pyramid Stage in that primetime slot of 6:15pm on Saturday, June 28. SecretGlasto shared a video of a patchwork quilt and someone using a sewing machine before cutting to clips of Jarvis Cocker and Pulp. More Trending Cocker has recently spoken about doing patchwork while on tour, and he's already set to be at Glastonbury this year for a DJ set at the Stone Bridge bar. Formed in Sheffield in 1978, Pulp grew in popularity in the mid-90s, firstly with their 1994 album His 'n' Hers and then its follow-up Different Class. Their recent return with new music has proven bittersweet after the band lost bassist Steve Mackey in 2023. Metro has contacted a rep for Jarvis Cocker for comment. Got a story?
