Traitors star Claudia seen without eyeliner in candid photo from hospital bed
The Traitors host Claudia Winkleman has warned fans not to zoom in on her eye as she posts a candid pic from hospital bed. Mostly recognised for her iconic block fringe and eyeliner, Claudia Winkleman is being forced to change her look as she revealed that she had recently undergone eye surgery. As a result, the TV presenter won't be able to wear her staple eyeliner for the coming weeks as she recovers. On Friday night, the 53-year-old posted on Instagram a makeup free photo of herself and her doctor as she revealed she had surgery on her eye. Posing without her usual fake tan and heavy eye makeup, Claudia warned fans not to zoom into her eye as she shared that it's 'wonky'. Along with the picture, Claudia told her followers: "This amazing human makes me see. He's operated on my eyes before and he did it again today. No eyeliner for weeks and I sleep in goggles (no words) but I'm eternally grateful. "Do NOT zoom in on my left eye - it's wonky. Thank you Julian. I paid for the treatment, this isn't an ad. I just love him. It's very possible I'm still a bit sedated. Night night." One of the first to comment was Googlebox's Izzi Warner, who said: "We still have the costume and Bobby is willing to wear the eye liner for you if you need a stand in Claudia! Happy healing." Drag Race UK star Baga Chips also left praise for The Traitors host, writing: "You look beautiful Claudia." Also in the comments, one fan shared their experience with the same doctor. They said: "He did my eye surgery about 8 years ago! Played rock music as he did it. He told me it would be life changing and he was right. Amazing man!" Claudia informed her fans of her health update just days after she was made a MBE - Member of the Order of the British Empire - at the King Charles III's birthday honours. Alongside Strictly Come Dancing co-host Tess Daley, Claudia was honoured for her services to broadcasting. The new MBE said: "I am incredibly grateful to receive this honour. It's a real privilege to work with extraordinarily talented people and I have only got this because of them. "So this is for the BBC, the traitors and the faithful, for pianos and for the cha cha. I will buy a hat and am taking my mum. I am ridiculously lucky and will celebrate with Tess by doing a paso doble." As for her career in TV, the mum of three studied history of art at Cambridge University and began working as a TV and radio presenter after she graduated. She has fronted many BBC TV shows, such as Comic Relief and The Great British Sewing Bee. In 2004, Claudia became the presenter of Strictly's weekday companion show It Takes Two. However, she passed the mantle over to Zoe Ball when she took on the role of co-host for the Sunday night results show with Tess Daley. Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! On the station, she hosted a range of different programmes, including comedy quiz series Hot Gossip, Claudia on Sunday and the Claudia Winkleman Arts Show. In recent years, Claudia has been most notably recognised for being the Bafta-winning presenter of the hit BBC game show The Traitors - which won best entertainment performance at the 2023 awards. She is also set to presenter the upcoming spin-off series - The Celebrity Traitors. This show will see 19 celebs enter the Highlands' castle in a nine-part series set to be broadcast later this year. It's set to be a dramatic week for Kat Moon in next week's EastEnders as she's left worrying about how things are with Alfie, as well as being concerned for her ex, Phil It's been a huge week for Kat and Alfie in EastEnders this week, with the return of Kat's daughter Zoe Slater. However, Kat is completely unaware that Zoe returned to London - and that her husband, Alfie, has gone to Barcelona to follow her after she fled. Next week, she's left worrying about her lack of communication, while also being left concerned about her ex, Phil. It was a close call in scenes earlier this week, as Kat suspected something suspicious was going on in Stacey's flat. She opened the bedroom door, where Zoe was, although she'd already escaped out the window. She later told Stacey she was going to Barcelona, and now Alfie's gone to hopefully bring her back home. However, he told a huge lie to his new wife Kat, telling her that he was off to Australia to visit his brother Spencer. Although she came round to the idea in the end, Kat told Alfie that their relationship would be over for good if she finds out he's lying. Spoilers for next week reveal even more turmoil for Kat and Alfie as she's left is worrying about how things are with her husband Alfie Moon. She tries to confide in Jean Slater, Jean about her hurt over Alfie being incommunicado, but Jean refuses to forgive Kat for going into business with Kathy and Harvey. However, Alfie's lack of communication isn't the only thing concerning Kat, as she's left worried about her ex-husband Phil. Phil's worried about Nigel deteriorating amid his dementia diagnosis, and some of his actions next week leave Phil struggling. During a heart to heart, Kat realises her ex-husband is exhausted and in over his head as she suggests he gets help to care for Nigel. Jean is later left questioning Kat why she's spending so much time at Phil's place, as she insists it's nothing but platonic concern. Last week, Phil was seen giving Alfie an unlikely pep talk after he and Kat called the wedding off. He told Alfie that he was the one Kat always wanted as the two made amends and tied the knot. However, the couple's third marriage to each other hasn't got off on the best foot - starting off on a huge lie. Will Kat find out that Alfie's lying about her whereabouts? If so, how will she react? Will the pair really be over for good like she said? EastEnders airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.

It then allegedly featured a quote from the TV star which read: "I Didn't Want Anyone to Know..." Images showed her in-character on the show as well as smiling in a cheery headshot. Yet Natalie, who this year quit EastEnders after 32 years on the soap, categorically slammed the suggestions of her illness. She furiously wrote in her caption: "THIS IS DISGUSTING AND DISGRACEFUL. "So many people are going through this and I have had messages asking if I'm ok. "It is completely made up and a terrible story. "Take this down whoever you are." The fake news came after the mum of two opened up on a huge pop star who used to bully her at school. EastEnders' Natalie Cassidy claims huge pop star used to BULLY her at school and reveals awkward confrontation ALL CHANGE The shock story also came just weeks after Natalie's podcast with Joanna Page was scrapped by the BBC in a huge career change. Yet she still has her own podcast, Life With Nat. The podcast scrap came after we reported how Natalie had landed a new TV show with the broadcaster. BBC Daytime have commissioned a new series - under the working title Natalie Cassidy Learning to Care - for BBC One and iPlayer. EastEnders stars who QUIT MICHELLE Collins has seen her second EastEnders stint boost her bank balance. Yet what stars have quit this year? The Sun exclusively reported how Michelle, 62, was down to £20,000 in her company accounts when she agreed to a shock back-from-the-dead return to Albert Square last year. Her character, Cindy Beale, was presumed dead off-camera in 1998. Yet what about the 2024 exits? Earlier this summer, loyal soap fans appeared to note how Stevie Mitchell had "quit" the long-running series. It came after Alan Ford enjoyed just six-months on-screen. Bobby Beale actor Clay Milner Russell also left this year after five years in Walford. Fans also feared Martin Fowler actor James Bye would "quit out of boredom" over recent storylines. Additionally, a host of stars have quit the BBC soap for Hollywood fame. One of the most successful stars to come from the BBC One soap is Rob Kazinsky. He played Stacey Slater's brother Sean Slater from 2006 to 2009, he has starred in Hollywood blockbusters Pacific Rim and Captain Marvel. Ben Hardy, who quit EastEnders as Bobby Beale almost a decade ago, went on to break Hollywood the following year, when he starred as Archangel in X-Men: Apocalypse. Since then, he has played Roger Taylor in Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, and he starred in Michael Bay's Netflix movie 6 Underground. Michelle Ryan played Zoe Slater until 2005. She starred as the lead in short-lived American series Bionic Woman from 2007 to 2008. The actress will fulfil her longtime ambition of wanting to train as carer. This means enrolling at one of the UK's top Health & Social Care colleges - alongside the next generation of carers. In recent years, Natalie has cared for family members and volunteered in local groups. The show follows her journey across classroom to community care services - as she's there for life's toughest moments. While to make things official, the actress will have to pass her final exam. Natalie said: 'I'm thrilled to be embarking on a new adventure with BBC Daytime. "In a series exploring social care, I will be going back to college and learning for the first time since leaving school at 16. "Caring has always been a huge part of my life, from watching my mum care for my nan, to being a mother to caring for my dad, this series is close to my heart and I can't wait for you to see it.' 6 She said the claims were 'completely made up' Credit: Rex 6 Natalie was an EastEnders fan-favourite Credit: BBC
