Highway 4 shut down following fatal Friday crash

One person has died and a second was airlifted to hospital after a two-vehicle crash north of Exeter.
According to OPP, the incident between a car and an SUV happened on Highway 4 at Hurondale Road happened just before 6 a.m. on Friday.
Huron OPP Const. Craig Soldan told CTV News police efforts were hindered by a passerby who tampered with the scene.
'There was an individual that arrived shortly after the collision and starting removing debris away from the collision and we want to make sure people do not do that. That is important information for us, when we need to rebuild the collision and figure out what happened,' said Soldan.
Highway 4 is closed in both directions in the area of Hurondale Road.

'Our Alberta RCMP Historical Homicide Unit is a team of dedicated and meticulous investigators who are working for those who can no longer speak for themselves,' said Insp. Breanne Brown in a statement. 'The Alberta RCMP does not stop investigating in these circumstances and our team continues to work to bring Twyla home. I can assure you that our investigators pour their hearts into these investigations and are committed to providing answers to victim's families regardless of how much time has passed.'

Altercation in Richmond Hill ends in stabbing of 34-year-old man
