Madonna Sets July Release Date For Long-Rumored ‘Veronica Electronica' EDM Remix Album
Madonna is giving the people what they want. The singer announced on Thursday morning (June 5) that she will release the long-rumored Veronica Electronica collection, an album featuring rare and unreleased remixes of songs from her beloved 1998 Ray of Light album. The eight-track LP will be released digitally and on silver vinyl on July 25. The album was previewed on Thursday with the glitchy, thumping deep cut 'Skin (The Collaboration Remix Edit).'
According to a release, Veronica Electronica was originally meant to be a remix companion to Ray of Light, but was sidelined by the success of the original album, which hit No. 2 on the Billboard 200, sold more than 16 million copies and earned four Grammy awards — including best pop album. It also spawned a series of chart hits, including the No. 2 Billboard Hot 100 single 'Frozen,' the No. 5 hit title track, No. 11 single 'The Power of Good-Bye' and 'Nothing Really Matters' (No. 93).

The collection spotlights newly edited versions of club remixes by frequent collaborator William Orbit, as well as Peter Rauhofer, Sasha, BT and Victor Calderone, as well as the original demo of 'Gone, Gone, Gone' a previously unreleased recording co-produced by the singer and Rick Nowels. The singer's most recent studio album was 2021's Madame X. In May, it was reported that she was teaming up with Deadpool & Wolverine producer Shawn Levy to develop a series based on her life for Netflix.

Forrest Frank Rules Top Gabb Music Songs Chart for Second Month, Charts 5 Songs in All
Forrest Frank's 'Your Way's Better' stalled the three-month reign of Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars' 'Die With a Smile' on the monthly Top Gabb Music Songs chart when it reached No. 1 on the April 2025 tally, and now he's joined Gaga and Mars as the only other act with a multi-month No. 1, reigning again on the May 2025 survey. Billboard has partnered with Gabb Wireless, a phone company for kids and teens, to present a monthly chart tracking on-demand streams via its Gabb Music platform. Gabb Music offers a vast catalog of songs, all of which are selected by the Gabb team to include only kid- and teen-appropriate content. Gabb Music streams are not currently factored into any other Billboard charts. The song has topped the Hot Christian Songs chart for the last five weeks (dating to May 24) and has reached a best so far of No. 61 on the all-format Billboard Hot 100. It ranks at No. 68 on the latest list. 'Your Way's Better' is one of a whopping five Frank songs on the May 2025 Top Gabb Music Songs chart, thanks to a pair of debuts joining the three songs he already boasted on the ranking. 'No L's' and 'B.I.G.' debut at Nos. 14 and 19, respectively, while 'Drop!' reaches a new peak of No. 13 and 'Up!,' a collaboration with Connor Price, remains at its No. 25 best. Frank's five songs on the ranking equals the record set by Imagine Dragons on the inaugural Top Gabb Music Songs list for October 2024 — though notably, while Frank has the No. 1 song, Imagine Dragons' best that month was No. 16, with 'Bones.' Other moves on the latest chart include a three-spot leap for Alex Warren's 'Ordinary,' which reaches a new peak of No. 3 after its No. 6 debut on the April tally. 'Ordinary' has spent two weeks so far at No. 1 on the Hot 100, beginning with the June 7 survey. The only non-Frank debut of the week belongs to Morgan Wallen, whose 'What I Want,' which features Tate McRae, starts at No. 11. It was also a No. 1 on the Hot 100, debuting atop the May 31 list. Lil Wayne's 15-Year-Old Son Scores His First Chart Hit
Lil Wayne debuts 17 tracks from Tha Carter VI on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, including ... More a father-son collab with Kameron Carter titled "Rari." DALLAS, TEXAS - MAY 26: Lil Wayne performs onstage during Night 2 of the TwoGether Land Music Festival at Fair Park on May 26, 2024 in Dallas, Texas. (Photo by) Lil Wayne is having another big week on the charts in the United States. His new album Tha Carter VI, debuts at No. 1 on a number of Billboard rankings, and he invades several of the hip-hop and rap-focused tallies with multiple tracks from the full-length. This is not an unusual performance for one of the biggest stars to ever rap, but this latest slew of smashers may be special to the Grammy winner, as he's made his newest effort a family affair. Kameron Carter Scores His First Billboard Hit Kameron Carter, Wayne's son, earns what appears to be his first Billboard hit this week. The 15-year-old, whose mother is actress Lauren London, collaborates with his father on the track 'Rari.' The Tha Carter VI album cut opens at No. 47 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, which ranks the most consumed tunes in those styles across the U.S., blending sales and streaming data as well as radio airplay. Lil Wayne Floods the Charts With Tha Carter VI Carter may only be credited on one track, but Wayne lands 17 new hits on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart this week, all taken from Tha Carter VI. The rapper didn't push any singles from the full-length before dropping the project in full, so excitement around these tunes is especially high at the moment. Lil Wayne Extends His Impressive Chart History Throughout his career, Wayne has collected an incredible 234 hits on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Included in that massive number are 53 top 10s — a figure he adds to with just one track this frame, as the aptly titled 'Hip-Hop,' a collaboration with BigXthaPlug and Jay Jones, opens at No. 8. He's also landed an even dozen champions thus far.

Coldplay's Quarter-Century-Old Song Debuts On Several Charts At Once
Coldplay's 2000 track 'Sparks' goes viral and debuts on five Billboard charts, nearly entering the ... More Hot 100 and pushing Parachutes back onto an albums tally. In this image released on December 12, 2024, Coldplay at the 2024 Billboard Music Awards. (Photo by Anna Lee/Penske Media via Getty Images) Coldplay is currently in year four of its Music of the Spheres World Tour. The trek promotes the band's albums Music of the Spheres and Moon Music, which were released in 2021 and 2024, respectively. While the most recent project by the English pop-rock group has vacated charts seemingly everywhere, it's the band itself that still appears on a handful of tallies, including in the United States this week. Coldplay earns a new hit not with something from its most recent full-lengths or a tune being heavily promoted on its tour, but rather with a viral favorite. 'Sparks' Debuts on Five Billboard Charts 'Sparks' debuts on five Billboard charts in the United States this week. The tune largely hits genre-specific rankings, but also manages to approach the all-style, all-encompassing Hot 100, missing out on doing so by just a few spots. Instead, it opens at No. 11 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 – which is reserved for those tunes that almost made it to the top list – and it could rise in the coming weeks, giving Coldplay another placement on the competitive tally. Coldplay's New Top 20 Smash 'Sparks' arrives inside the top 20 on the Hot Rock Songs, Hot Alternative Songs, and Hot Rock & Alternative Songs charts. The tune kicks off its time at No. 13 on the first two lists and at No. 15 on the latter, which blends both rock and alternative music. On the Alternative Streaming Songs chart, 'Sparks' opens at No. 25. Coldplay's Parachutes Returns 'Sparks' was originally released in the summer of 2000, but it was never pushed as a single. As the track's virality on sites like TikTok grows and total consumption increases, Parachutes – the album that features the cut – also returns to one Billboard tally. The full-length, which introduced Coldplay to the world, reappears at No. 50, in last place, on the Top Rock & Alternative Albums chart.
