Nicole Kidman to Star in TV Series "Girls and Their Horses"

Nicole Kidman is set to star in and executive produce a series adaptation of the Eliza Jane Brazier novel 'Girls and Their Horses'.
The project is currently in development and will be co-produced by Legendary Television and Amazon MGM Studios for Prime Video.
Brazier will write the pilot and executive produce. Jenna Lamia will serve as showrunner and executive producer.
Kidman will executive produce along with Per Saari under their Blossom Films banner.
'Girls and Their Horses' marks a reunion for Kidman and Lamia.
Lamia previously developed and showran the hit Netflix series 'The Perfect Couple,' based on the novel by Elin Hilderbrand, in which Kidman starred and executive produced.
The official logline for 'Girls and Their Horses' reads, 'A murder-mystery set in the beachside equestrian community of Rancho Santa Fe, California, 'Girls and Their Horses' follows the newly wealthy Parker family as they aim to position their teenage daughters in the rarified, sometimes-deadly world of competitive horse riding.'
Should it move forward, this would mark the latest series role for Kidman, who has quickly become the hardest working actress in television.
In addition to 'The Perfect Couple,' she has starred in the shows 'Big Little Lies,' 'Top of the Lake: China Girl,' 'The Undoing,' 'Nine Perfect Strangers,' 'Lioness,' and 'Expats' since 2017.
The second season of 'Nine Perfect Strangers' recently debuted, while Kidman is also attached to star in the shows 'Scarpetta' at Prime Video and 'Margo's Got Money Troubles' at Apple TV+.
She also has a stellar film career, for which she has received five Oscar nominations with one win. Her recent film credits include 'The Northman,' 'Babygirl,' 'A Family Affair,' and 'Being the Ricardos.'
In addition to 'Girls and Their Horses,' Brazier is also the author of the books 'If I Disappear' and 'Good Rich People,' both of which she is currently adapting for TV.
The former is set up at 20th Television, while the latter is at MRC. She is also working on a feature screenplay based on her novel 'It Had to Be You' at Sony.
This is the latest collaboration between Legendary TV and Amazon MGM Studios in recent weeks.
It was reported back in April that Legendary's 'Pacific Rim' TV series is now set up at Amazon, while the two studios, along with Pacesetter Productions, have struck a deal to develop a series based G. T. Karber's murder mystery puzzles 'Murdle.'

Yara Sameh 'The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon' will return with Season 3 on September 7. The spin-off series, starring Norman Reedus as Daryl and Melissa McBride as Carol, will air at 9 p.m. ET on AMC and AMC+. The upcoming season focuses on the pair trying to make their way home, but encountering more obstacles along the way. 'I couldn't be more thrilled to announce a third season and to be working side by side with the brilliant Melissa McBride,' Reedus previously said in a statement. 'Season 2 is some of my favorite storytelling of this series. Watching Melissa shine along with our brilliant cast and crew has been one of my fondest memories playing this character.' McBride joined the series, set in Europe, in Season 2, although it was initially supposed to focus on both Daryl and Carol from the beginning. Oman's Khareef Dhofar 2025 Season Opens with Spectacular Natural Beauty, Cultural Events
Mohamed Mandour The Sultanate of Oman officially kicked off the Khareef Dhofar 2025 season, welcoming visitors to one of the region's most unique climatic and tourism phenomena. Running through September 20, the three-month monsoon season transforms Dhofar's coastal and mountainous landscape into lush green scenery, drawing travelers from across the globe. The Dhofar Municipality has announced an extensive lineup of cultural, recreational, and tourism activities under the theme of innovation and authenticity. The event aims to enhance Dhofar's position as a premier international tourism destination while celebrating Omani heritage and traditions. Seminar on 'The Call of the People of Qiblah' at Islamic Book Fair in Jakarta
Mohamed Mandour The Muslim Council of Elders held a thought-provoking seminar titled 'The Call for the People of Qiblah and Efforts to Strengthen Intra-Islamic Dialogue' as part of its participation in the 2025 Islamic Book Fair in Jakarta, Indonesia. The event drew significant interest and active engagement from both visitors and participants. The seminar featured distinguished speakers including Dr. Syafiq Mughni, Vice President of Muhammadiyah; Dr. Muhammad Zain Al-Majid, Member of the Executive Office of the Muslim Council of Elders; and Ms. Alissa Qotrunnada Wahid, Coordinator of the Gusdurian Network Indonesia (GNI). Opening the seminar, Prof. Dr. Syafiq Mughni stressed the critical importance of intra-Islamic dialogue in light of the growing challenges facing the Muslim world, both internally and externally. He noted that these challenges are a true test for the Ummah, which the Qur'an describes as 'You are the best community ever raised for humanity' [3:110]. Achieving this status, he explained, requires both knowledge and moral values, emphasizing that scientific advancement is incomplete without a strong ethical foundation. He remarked, 'The key to the revival of the Ummah lies in blending modern science with noble character. Morality is the backbone of any nation—when it collapses, the nation follows.'
