Ferrari Resort 2026 Collection
A 1960s photo in Ferrari's Maranello workshop—where Enzo Ferrari founded the famous automotive company in 1947—shows a glamorous lady wearing fur and cat-eye sunglasses observing Ferrari craftsmen at work. During an in-studio preview, creative director Rocco Iannone explained that the image is one of the main focuses of the resort 2026 collection. It's important because it exemplifies the brand's cultural status, a carmaker so well known that 'the word Ferrari itself is commonly used as an absolute comparative,' as Iannone put it. With this in mind, he designed a collection that keeps the workshop at its heart.
The opening looks are inspired by engineers working in business- and science-oriented areas, with sartorial looks made of coated denim trench coats and leather separates, often matched with Ferrari-red ties. References to the automotive world are recurring but always subtle, such as the car silhouette evoked through the shape of zips or the shoulders of leather bikers and blousons with integrated spoilers that clearly recall those found on Ferraris. Sometimes, instead, actual car parts become the main materials; as is the case with discarded Ferrari tires that have been transformed into a yarn used for knitwear and iridescent suits—a copyrighted fabric called Q-Cycle—in an innovative approach to circular creativity.
In other cases, inspiration comes from pilot gear of the past, like the ample leather cargo pants that recall the 1930s, or the 7x7 check, typical of racing suits, that was reworked on silk shirt dresses, knitwear pieces, and embossed leather garments. Among the accessories, the soft La Ferrari Dino bag stands out; it's a riff on the Dino model, a car named after Enzo's son.

Historical fiction with dukes, lords and ladies has been popular for decades. With the rise of Webtoons, we are seeing a particular historical fiction genre rise. These historical fictions mix dukes and lords with magic, fictional faraway lands and isekai. It's a perfect blend of fantasy, historical fiction and romance. The tell-tale signs of one of these comics start with an almost always reincarnated or reborn female lead and a tyrant she is destined to be with. However, there are exceptions to this rule. Sometimes, the genders are switched for these, where both are reincarnated, or no one is reincarnated. The most constant element is that at least one of the love interests is a misunderstood tyrant. Here are five tyrants that WEBTOON made me fall in love with. Calcion Landbird – Charming the Duke of the North How do we describe the tyrant in this webtoon? No one says it better than the author in the first chapter. 'A cold-hearted man … with looks that kill!' Charming the Duke of the North features Calcion Landbird as the duke and Rin as the reincarnated female lead. The catch in this webtoon is that Calcion desperately needs someone to pretend to be his lover, and Rin happens to be a successful actress back in the modern world. Donning the name Selina, Rin acts the role of a seductress who seduces the duke. It's just acting, right? Her acting defends him from nobles, maids and whatever may come their way. Seeing this supposedly cold-hearted man at the mercy of a modern-day actress is indescribably precious. Every time Rin skillfully plays her part as the seductress, the duke gets completely flustered, showing his inexperience for such an esteemed duke. Duke Zeronis – The First Night With the Duke The First Night With the Duke stars Ripley, a modern gal reincarnated as a side character in her favorite novel. She swears not to let the plot deviate and to enjoy her days in this fantasy world, but accidentally gets drunk and seduces the two love interests. OOPS. The main love interest is the tyrant Duke, Zeronis. RELATED: 10 More Creative Women Behind Incredible WEBTOON Series Zeronis is the complete opposite of Calcion when it comes to romance. This guy isn't here to get flustered; he does the flustering. He is good-looking, knows it and flaunts it unapologetically to the female lead. While he is possessive, it doesn't cross the line of creepy. Though, he is extremely pushy, insisting Ripley marry him. He stops at no cost to seduce and threaten Ripley into marriage. I know 'threaten' is a bit harsh, but this is a list of tyrants, after all. Duke Luave – The Duke's Cursed Charm Duke Luave, like many of these comic tyrants, has a terrible curse: his irresistible charm. Not kidding. People fall madly in love with him and are extremely possessive due to his affliction. It is so problematic that women are literally throwing themselves in front of his carriage. RELATED: 5 Devastating WEBTOON Curses Luave constantly turns down women and men while also dealing with rumors that he is a seductive devil. Due to this curse, he is much more independent than dukes in similar stories. Bathing, dressing and primarily tending to his needs to spare servants from his curse. He uses magic to suppress the devilish power at all costs. That isn't to say he doesn't use his curse on purpose in a pinch… He is quick-witted, difficult to please, harder to seduce and an entertaining character. He has quite the personality. While a tyrant in his own right, using his curse only so slightly to his advantage, he isn't as stone-faced as the rest. However, he is twice as cold-blooded. Though everything changes when he meets the female lead. Who, surprise, is immune to his charm. Now he will have to learn how to seduce someone. Therdeo Lapileon – My In-Laws Are Obsessed With Me My In-Laws Are Obsessed With Me has the typical broody duke, but there is more to him. Therdeo is, you guessed it, a cursed duke. But not the fun kind of curse like The Duke's Cursed Charm. His curse doesn't draw the ladies in but rather does them in. Therdeo has poisonous blood, as well as everyone in his family's bloodline. As a result, he is highly protective of his family and wants to create a better life for his nephew. Wow, huge father potential. RELATED: Saturday Morning Webtoons: Fingers and Welfare Center While he rules with his sword and is hard to read, we know that he is a tortured soul that just wants someone he can hold onto. Or, well, we know that after he killed the female lead. It is complicated; you'll have to trust that things look up in the romance department after the first few chapters. Dorothy – The Tyrant Wants to Be Good You read that right, and yes, Dorothy is a woman and a tyrant. Finally! Though being the tyrant didn't save her from the born-again trope. She has a second chance at life. Before, she was a ruthless princess who would do anything to get the crown, even killing her brother. But now? She is destined to live her life as a good person, which is tricky because she had a terrible life. Watching her slowly change and learn what it means to be good charmed me in a way a curse couldn't. Underrated Horror Movie of the Month: MALEVOLENT
Hello, horrorphiles! It is time, once again, to feature a fantastic film in Underrated Horror Movie of the Month. If you are new to the column, here's the scoop. On the second and fourth Friday of every month, I talk about a horror movie I feel is underrated and underloved. I am talking about the 2018 Netflix film Malevolent in today's edition. Stick around to see why I think this movie deserves more love. About Malevolent Brother and sister, Jackson (Ben Lloyd-Hughes) and Angela (Florence Pugh), run a phony paranormal investigation business. Together, they swindle grieving individuals into believing they are convincing their deceased loved ones to move on. Eventually, they take on a case that will change everything. As part of the ruse, Angela pretends to have a psychic ability that allows her to hear and communicate with the dead. During one 'investigation,' Angela sees something she can't explain, something no one else saw. After this incident, she begins experiencing more strange occurrences. Jackson takes on a big project featuring an old foster home where several children were brutally murdered, and everything goes downhill. RELATED: Underrated Horror Movie of the Month: White Noise As Angela learns more about the house's history and experiences the supernatural at an increasing rate, terrible events unfold. Are the issues ghosts from the past or flesh and blood haunting the present? Malevolent also stars Celia Imrie, Georgina Bevan, Scott Chambers and Steven McCole. Olaf de Fleur Johannesson directed, and Ben Ketai and Eva Konstantopoulos wrote the screenplay. This film has a 58 percent Tomatometer Score and a 17 percent Audience Score on Rotten Tomatoes. My Thoughts The story is, admittedly, a bit predictable. However, there is a twist at the end that I found enjoyable. A hefty part of the plot is outlined in the premise. This fact does not eliminate the ability to anticipate what is coming. My thought is that a story worth telling is worth watching, even if you know what will happen. Even with the predictability, the storytelling, atmosphere and acting are worth watching. Along the same train of thought, the dialogue fits the tale nicely. It flows naturally and provides vital information about each character. It is easy to envision the conversations occurring outside of a television screen. RELATED: Horror With a Side of Cheese: Killer Klowns from Outer Space All of the actors did an admirable job on Malevolent . My least favorite character is Jackson, and I am unsure if it is the actor or how the character is written. Perhaps it is a bit of both. As always, Florence Pugh hits all of the nuances required of the character. Her terror from experiencing the supernatural is palpable, and her interactions with other characters are spot-on. The atmosphere is incredible; an edge-of-your-seat creepiness oozes from every scene. There are a few jump scares, but it is easy to see them coming if you are a horror lover. Nevertheless, eeriness prevails, and I found myself completely engaged throughout the film. Additionally, the sets are incredible and lend to the overall creep factor. RELATED: Geek Girl Authority Crush of the Week: Annie Sawyer My biggest complaint with Malevolent is that many scenes are pretty dark. I understand this is necessary given how the setting is portrayed, but it is difficult to fully appreciate smaller details when everything is so dark. Final Thoughts Alright, horror fans, that's another underrated horror movie in the books! Do I think this film is going to win awards for originality? No, but it is a fun and intriguing watch worth the time and effort. Malevolent is streaming on Netflix and is easily one of my favorite horror movies the platform has produced. Bruce Springsteen isn't letting up on his digs at PresidentDonald Trump and the administration he's already ripped as 'incompetent and treasonous.' The Boss, who is in the midst of the European leg of his Land of Hope and Dreams tour with the E Street Band, told The New York Times that he wanted to use his shows' set list to address the 'current situation' in the United States. 'It's an American tragedy,' said the rocker in a feature published on Wednesday. He went on, 'I think that it was the combination of the deindustrialization of the country and then the incredible increase in wealth disparity that left so many people behind. It was ripe for a demagogue.' 'And while I can't believe it was this moron that came along, he fit the bill for some people. But what we've been living through in the last 70 days is things that we all said, 'This can't happen here.' 'This will never happen in America.' And here we are.' Springsteen's criticism led to Trump raging on his Truth Social platform last month, calling the Boss 'dumb as a rock' and a 'dried out 'prune' of a rocker.'
