Rangers announce pre season friendly against English National League side
Rangers have announced a summer friendly for their second string team away to Vanarama National League side Hartlepool United.
The match will take place at The Prestige Group Stadium on Sunday, July 20 with a 3pm kick-off.

Rangers B team boss David McCallum will take the Light Blues XI to the north east of England.

However, as it stands it is a free weekend for Russell Martin's first team and would give him a chance to get a look at fringe men.
Hartlepool United - favourites of broadcast legend Jeff Stelling - dropped out of the English Football League for the first time in 2017.
They finished 10th in the National League last season and are managed by Anthony Limbrick after legend Lennie Lawrence stepped back.

Rangers made major changes to the function of their B team this year as they seek to bridge the gap from the youth academy to the first-team.
After an internal review, club chiefs opted to priorities loan deals over B team matches.
Tickets for the Hartlepool match are priced at £12 for adults and £7 for concessions and can be purchased here.
Hartlepool United will also play a Leeds United XI in a friendly with the Elland Road side and Rangers now sharing the same 49ers Enterprises owners.
The Rangers first team have Ibrox friendlies against Club Brugge on July 6 and Middlesbrough on July 26 with a training camp at the England national team's St George's Park.

Ohio State men's hockey releases 2025-2026 nonconference schedule
The Ohio State men's hockey team surprised a lot of people with their unexpectedly high level of play this past season. The Buckeyes lost a lot of key players but found a way to plug in more talent and shock a lot of people by making it to the Big Ten Tournament Championship Game en route to a berth in the NCAA Tournament. Things didn't end all that well on the national scale in the postseason, but it was still an overachieving year in which OSU went 24-12-2 overall and finished third in the League with a 14-9-1 record. Texas A&M commit and 2026 4-star WR invited to Rivals Five-Star event
Texas A&M's 2026 recruiting class is chock-full of talent at every position. Over the past week, two of the program's elite commits, four-star quarterback Helaman Casuga and four-star edge rusher Jordan Carter, have been invited to the annual Rivals Five-Star event in Indianapolis, Indiana, which now features the Aggies' top-ranked wide receiver commit. On Friday, it was revealed that 2024 four-star wide receiver Aaron Gregory has become the newest A&M commit to be invited to the event of the summer, showcasing his elite talent. This is highly unsurprising, given his impressive play this summer during various camps, where he demonstrated his elite route-running and improved downfield speed. Earlier this month, running back Jonathan Hatton and tight end Caleb Tafua, along with Gregory, shut down their recruitment and will sign with the program as soon as Early Signing Day on December 4. During his 2024 junior season at Douglas County HS, Gregory reeled in 53 receptions for 914 yards and nine touchdowns after recording 795 yards and eight touchdowns during the previous season. Gregory's ability to quickly separate in coverage and make plays after the catch is similar to former A&M wideout and current Oregon standout Evan Stewart. As soon as Gregory steps on campus, the Georgia native has a chance to climb up the 2026 depth chart as a third or fourth option during his freshman season. Ohio State football set for massive recruiting weekend. Here's all 17 players attending.
The Ohio State football program has welcomed several prospects to its camps over the last few weeks, and this weekend is the last official visit weekend for the Buckeyes. In total, there are a whopping 17 prep players being hosted by the OSU staff, so it's time to pull out all of the stops. Ohio State has had a few players announce their verbal pledges after going on an official visit over the last few weeks, and I wouldn't put it wouldn't be surprising at all if there were some more news coming out of this one as well. We know you are interested in exactly who is coming to the banks of the Olentangy, so we have the complete 17-player list for you.
