Baba Vanga's chilling WW3 prediction as war between Iran and Israel escalates

Baba Vanga's chilling WW3 prediction as war between Iran and Israel escalates

Metro4 days ago

A blind seer made a chilling prediction that 2025 would see war break out in Europe before her death nearly 30 years ago.
Bulgarian psychic Baba Vanga has successfully foreseen seismic events, including Princess Diana's death in 1997 and 9/11 – according to her followers, at least.
But her premonitions for this year were particularly bleak – a conflict between two European nations.
With the war between Russia and Ukraine well into its third year, and conflict raging in the Middle East – another military dispute would put the world nearer to World War Three.
Vanga, whose real name is Vangeliya Pandeva Gushterova, turned blind as a teenager, but gained a reputation for her mystic abilities.
She forecast the new European conflict would 'devastate' the population.
She said: 'As soon as Syria falls, expect a great war between the West and the East. In the spring, a war in the East will begin and there will be a third World War. A war in the East that will destroy the West.'
Known as the 'Balkan Nostradamus' after the classical French astrologer, Baba died in 1996, but some of her predictions have since been borne out.
As well as foreseeing a fresh war, Vanga claimed 2025 would be the year scientists would discover telepathy.
In sport, Lewis Hamilton will win a record eighth Formula 1 world championship, according to Baba Vanga.
The achievement would be his first since his shock move to Scuderia Ferrari last year and the team's first driver's championship since 2007.
This year's final would be an absolute nail-biter, with Hamilton going head-to-head with reigning champion Max Verstappen for the title.
The psychic also predicted this year would be the year humans would come face to face with aliens – at a major sporting event.
Extraterrestrial beings would make a shock appearance at this year's Super Bowl in the halftime show.
She also predicted this would be the year for a monumental scientific breakthrough in the form of a clean energy source.
The discovery would be a godsend as the world hunts for sustainable fuels and renewables amid climate change – and lower energy bills.
The mysterious Balkan seer has gained her reputation among fans for her seemingly extraordinary ability to foresee events that shake the world, even posthumously.
One such event, according to some, was the September 11 attacks on New York's World Trade Center in 2001.
She reportedly said back in 1989: 'Horror! Horror! The American brethren will fall after being attacked by the steel birds. The wolves will be howling in a bush, and innocent blood will be gushing.'
The steel birds have been interpreted by some as the commercial aircraft that hit the Twin Towers, while the word 'bush' could refer to then-President George W Bush.
Some also believe the 'howling wolves' is a reference to the US's subsequent War on Terror.
It wasn't her only prediction on American politics either. Baba Vanga said that the 44th US president would be a Black man, years before Barack Obama was elected in 2008.
In an even more spooky premonition, Vanga suggested his successor would be someone who would 'bring the country down'. A definition some argue fits that of a certain Donald J Trump.
She said in an undated statement: 'Everyone will put their hopes in him to end it, but the opposite will happen. He will bring the country down and conflicts between north and south states will escalate.'
Among other tragic incidents, she allegedly correctly predicted the death of Princess Diana in 1997 and the Chernobyl disaster in 1986.
She also reportedly predicted the assassination of another major political, India's former prime minister Indira Gandhi, who was shot dead by two Sikh bodyguards.
She said in 1969: 'The dress will destroy her. I see an orange-yellow dress in the smoke and fire.'
Gandhi was indeed wearing a saffron yellow coloured dress.
Most bizarrely of all, according to some, she successfully predicted her death – August 11, 1996, a date be brought up in a 1990 interview.
However, not all of the psychic's visions proved to be correct. More Trending
While discussion continues today about a possible future World War Three, Vanga foresaw a global conflict 15 years ago.
She envisaged a full-blown nuclear confrontation that would destroy all of Europe. As you're reading this right now, it's safe to say this did not happen.
Another one of her predictions which proved to be false, was the final 1994 World Cup final being played by two teams beginning with a 'b'.
The match was contested by Brazil and Italy – a possible all 'b' final could have been Brazil against Bulgaria, the latter reaching that year's semi-final.

Bruno Fernandes given shock verdict despite Man Utd's worst-ever season

Bruno Fernandes was the only shining light in a dark season for Ruben Amorim's side, one which saw Manchester United finish the campaign down in 15th place Bruno Fernandes has been recognised by his fellow professionals – despite Manchester United's worst-ever Premier League campaign. United skipper Fernandes was the only shining light in a dark season for Ruben Amorim's side, one which saw them finish the campaign down in 15th place. ‌ The Red Devils lost 18 of their 38 Premier League games and failed to secure European football for only the second time in 35 years, after losing the Europa League final 1-0 to Tottenham. ‌ Despite such a shocking season, Fernandes has been honoured by his fellow professionals, with the 30-year-old making the six-man shortlist for the PFA Players' Player of the Year award. Fernandes is up against Liverpool duo Mo Salah and Alexis MacAllister, as well as Newcastle striker Alexander Isak, Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice and Chelsea forward Cole Palmer. United skipper Fernandes scored eight goals in 36 league appearances last season and 19 in all competitions. The award will be presented at a ceremony in Manchester on August 19. The last time a United player won the accolade was Wayne Rooney in 2010, with Manchester City and England forward Phil Foden the current holder. Fernandes considered leaving United this summer, after being approached by Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal over a move that would have trebled his current £300,000-a-week salary. But after discussing the potential move with his wife, Ana Pinho, Fernandes decided to reject the lucrative proposal and commit his future to United. ‌ "The president of Al Hilal called me a month ago to ask about the possibility of me moving there," said Fernandes. "I had to wait a while to think about the future. As I've always said, I would be willing to do it if United thought it was best to move on. I spoke with the coach, Ruben Amorim, who really tried to talk me out of it. " Manchester United said they didn't want to sell me. They said if I wanted to go I could, but they didn't need the money. From my side, it was a very ambitious proposal, the president was a fantastic person. I never talked about the money, it ended up coming up later, with my agent. ‌ "I had to make the decision as a family and understand what I wanted for my future. That was the question my wife asked, what my professional goals would be. At no point did she say yes or no, she always supported me and put my professional side first. "It was an easy move, even at a family level. I had Ruben Neves, Joao Cancelo. My children are used to playing with theirs. But I simply want to stay at the highest level, playing in the big competitions, because I still feel capable of that. "I want to continue to be happy and do what I love most. I'm still very passionate about this sport. It's my way of seeing football and I'm happy with my decision."

Antonio Conte makes statement about Man Utd transfer he did not expect

Napoli boss Antonio Conte has revealed he was surprised that one Manchester United transfer was completed last summer with the Italian not expecting the deal to go ahead Antonio Conte has revealed he was surprised Napoli were able to sign Scott McTominay from Manchester United last summer. The Scotland international helped inspire a Serie A title win in his first season at the club as he played a pivotal role in the success. United accepted a £25.4million bid for McTominay as they parted ways with the academy product in August 2024, much to ex-Chelsea boss Conte's delight. Then Red Devils head coach Erik ten Hag blamed profit and sustainability rules for the sale of the midfielder, admitting he had mixed feelings about the deal. ‌ But while McTominay had struggled to secure a position in the Dutchman's starting XI consistently, he quickly proved his worth to Conte. The 27-year-old deliverd 12 goals and six assists in 34 appearances during his debut season in Italy, including six goals in the final seven matches as Napoli earned the title over Inter Milan on the final day of the season. ‌ And Conte was surprised to have McTominay at his disposal at all. Despite being told by club chiefs that his signature could be secured, the Italian thought Napoli's lack of European football could be problematic. But the 55-year-old knew the player was underutilised at Old Trafford. Conte was more than happy to take advantage of the opportunity. "Scott is a player whom I knew really well. He was born and raised at Manchester United," Conte told Sky Sport Italia. "I could see that he always made an impact when he played, but at the same time, I noticed he wasn't used as a key player at Manchester United. "He was hardly a starter. Honestly, we had talked about it with [Napoli director] Giovanni Manna. He told me it was a possible solution. ‌ "Sometimes, directors make up stories also to keep you calm. If you ask me: 'Have you ever thought McTominay would surely arrive?' I'd say no. "Don't forget we were heading into a season without European trophies to play for, so he had to leave Manchester United to start over with us." Conte was left with a single frustration, McTominay's signing happened too close to the end of the window. 'A bit late, but he arrived and I was very happy because Manna was good at signing him,' Conte said. 'We had discussed McTominay, but I didn't think he would really join us.'
