Kylie Padilla admits it's painful to see fellow Sang'gres incomplete: 'I'm heartbroken every time I watch it'
Kylie Padilla admitted that it is painful for her to see her "Encantadia" sisters, Glaiza De Castro, Gabbi Garcia, and Sanya Lopez, incomplete because of her exit from the well-loved Kapuso series.
In Nelson Canlas' report on "24 Oras," Thursday, the Kapuso actress said their opening scene for "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" is "bittersweet."
"Kasi siyempre I know my role in the whole series. Super ganda ng mangyayari kay Amihan, especially when it comes to the birth of the new Sang'gres. Kasama si Amihan do'n," she said.
"But then, also sad, because, 'yon, patay pa rin si Amihan. She's still an Ivtre (spirit). So sad ako nga ako every time na I watch it and I see my three sisters nang wala si Amihan. I'm heartbroken every time I watch it," she added.
She also looked back at the time when she had to exit the show after getting pregnant.
"Sobrang pinaghirapan ko para lang magustuhan 'yung Amihan ko, 'yung version ni Amihan. And then, at the height, I got pregnant. It was unexpected. And I really didn't know how else to handle it," she said.
Kylie acknowledged that her pregnancy may have shocked the project's creatives and writers on how they will adjust the story.
"Sobrang malaking ano—not just regret, it's a huge—feeling ko kaya ko pang bumawi. Sana. 'Yun 'yung expectation ko dito. Dream kong mapanood kami ulit na kumpleto kami nang hindi patay si Amihan. Pambawi lang sa mga kapatid ko," she said.
"It's really painful to see them not complete just because of me," Kylie said.
Per Kylie, she and her "Encantadia" sisters never really talked about their reaction to her sudden pregnancy.
"Siyempre kinongratulate. 'Congratulations. Happy for you,' ganiyan. Pero never namin napag-usapan 'yung how they felt after I left. Never. Siyempre ako din may fear ako na baka may disappointment," she said.
"Sang'gre" is a spinoff of the iconic Kapuso fantaserye "Encantadia." It will introduce the newest keepers of the brilyantes: Terra (Bianca Umali), Flamarra (Faith Da Silva), Adamus (Kelvin Miranda), and Deia (Angel Guardian).
"Sang'gre" airs on GMA Network from Mondays to Fridays at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras." You can also watch it online via the Kapuso Stream on YouTube. —Carby Rose Basina/MGP, GMA Integrated News

‘Superman' cast grateful for warmth, support given by Filipino fans
The cast and crew of the new 'Superman' film have expressed their profound joy and gratitude following their visit to the Philippines, which was the first stop of their world tour. In Nelson Canlas' report in '24 Oras' Friday, David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan talked about the love they felt from the Filipino fans. 'To show up and have people dressed as Superman and dressed as Hawkgirl and Mr. Terrific, and there were definitely some Lois Lanes out there, it's really just we get to come and celebrate this amazing legacy of these characters in this world and get excited for the new chapter that we're bringing,' David said. 'You know, we're the new kids on the block, and to feel that warmth and that kind of support as we're kicking off this tour was really, really special. So we're very grateful to have started here in the Philippines,' Rachel said. David will star as Superman and Clark Kent in the film, while Rachel will play the role of Lois Lane. Director James Gunn also explained his motivation for the approach of the movie, particularly in the current global climate. 'I think that we've gotten in the world—the world seems kind of mean lately. I think that I really just want to remind people and myself about the values of basic human kindness,' he said. On social media Friday, the "Superman" film shared photos of the stars alongside James and co-producer Peter Safran posing with a Superman-themed jeepney. 'Superman' opens in cinemas and IMAX on July 9. It establishes the iconic hero in the new DC Studios cinematic universe headed by Gunn and Peter Safran. According to Gunn, "Superman" has become more than a movie for him. "It's a story about humanity, about what it means to be a hero in a world that doesn't always make it easy to be one.' The film also stars Nicholas Hoult, Edi Gathegi, Anthony Carrigan, Nathan Fillion, Isabela Merced, Skyler Gisondo, Sara Sampaio, María Gabriela de Faría, Wendell Pierce, Alan Tudyk, Pruitt Taylor Vince, and Neva Howell. —Carby Rose Basina/CDC, GMA Integrated News

Shuvee Etrata says she felt betrayed by AZ Martinez but 'malaki naman po 'yung heart ko to forgive her'
Shuvee Etrata acknowledged that she felt betrayed by AZ Martinez after the latter nominated her for eviction in "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition," but she believes that her heart is big enough to forgive her. In Aubrey Carampel's report in "24 Oras" Friday, the Sparkle star shared that she and AZ found their way back to each other when she returned to "PBB" as a duo challenger. "I-acknowledge ko lang din naman po, I felt betrayed nung time po na 'yun but malaki naman po 'yung heart ko to forgive her and we found our way back to each other naman," she said. "Parang nung bumalik po ako, naging emotional po ako kasi even if it's hard for me na nangyari po sa amin iyon, na we had to part ways like that, nandun pa rin po 'yung hope to form the bond again, to be okay again. Hinihintay ko lang po siya sa labas para po mas mapag-usapan namin." She also had a short but impactful message to her fans: "Spread love, not hate." During the interview, Shuvee also shared that she still feels guilty that she and Klarisse De Guzman got evicted. "I felt so bad kasi we were nominated because of me so parang 'yung guilt na 'yun until now, dala-dala ko siya, bubog ko siya," she said. She added that she could not believe all the love and support she received from fans when she exited Bahay ni Kuya, noting that she is still overwhelmed until now. Shuvee and Klarisse De Guzman were the latest duo to be evicted from "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition." This week, Shuvee and Klang along with the other evicted "PBB" housemates returned to the house as duo challengers. Shuvee and Klang's return finally gave all of them closure, with the housemates turning emotional after getting the chance to speak to the two again. AZ got to apologize to Shuvee and Klang and share a hug with them. She also told Shuvee that she would make it up to her. "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" airs new episodes on GMA Network weeknights at 9:35 p.m. and on Saturdays at 6:15 p.m. —CDC, GMA Integrated News
