TUSH (15A: ___ push (rhyming football play)) The TUSH push is a variation of the football play known as the quarterback sneak. The quarterback sneak involves a quarterback running or diving forward after receiving the football, while the offensive line also surges forward. It is sometimes used when only a short gain is needed. In the TUSH Push, two players push the quarterback from behind as he surges forward. Add this to the list of sports knowledge I've gained from crosswords.

RHO (26A: Letter after pi) RHO is making back-to-back puzzle appearances. We saw it yesterday clued as [Greek letter that looks like a "p"].
ONE (41A: "The loneliest number") This is true according to singer-songwriter Harry Nilsson, anyway. His 1968 song, "ONE," begins with the line, "ONE is the loneliest number that you'll ever do."
TIC-TAC-DOUGH (55A: Game show with X's and O's) The game show TIC-TAC-DOUGH was first produced in 1956, with Jack Barry as host. There have been three versions of the show (so far) - from 1956-1959, from 1978 to 1986, and in 1990. During the game show, contestants would answer questions in a variety of categories to put an X or O on the board, attempting to win a game of tic-tac-toe.
MAINE (67A: The Pine Tree State) MAINE has the largest forest cover of any state, with over 80% of its total area being forest. Much of that forest is pine trees, making it easy to understand why MAINE is called the Pine Tree State.
BENTO (70A: Japanese-style packed meal) BENTO is, as the clue describes, a Japanese-style packed meal. It is often served in a partitioned container that allows different parts of the meal to be placed in different sections.
ELM (3D: North Dakota state tree) In addition to being the state tree of North Dakota, the ELM is also the state tree of Massachusetts.
KATHY (5D: "Hocus Pocus" actress Najimy) The 1993 movie Hocus Pocus features a trio of witches named the Sanderson sisters, portrayed by Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and KATHY Najimy. The three reprised their roles for Hocus Pocus 2, released in 2022. A third Hocus Pocus movie is in the works, but no release date has been set. When I first wrote about Hocus Pocus in May 2022, I admitted I had never seen this movie. I was admonished for this by both my daughter and editor Amanda Rafkin! I have now seen both Hocus Pocus and Hocus Pocus 2.
STACCATO (6D: Like music with short, sharp notes) Thank you to my childhood piano teachers for teaching me about STACCATO, enabling me to fill in this answer with confidence. In musical notation, the opposite of STACCATO is legato.
ASTERS (8D: Daisylike flowers) The daisylike flowers, ASTERS, are having a crossword moment, as we saw the single ASTER yesterday and a few weeks ago, both times clued as [Daisy relative].
ROSE (10D: "Damask" flower) The Damask ROSE is a ROSE hybrid known for its fragrance. It is often used to make rose oil. The quotation marks around "Damask" in the clue indicate that the word is paired with the answer as a name.
ARLENE (11D: Garfield's love interest) In the Garfield comics by Jim Davis, ARLENE is a pink cat who is Garfield's girlfriend. She made her first appearance in 1980, two years after the comic began. My cat, Willow, is peeking out from under a blanket to say that she's a fan of Garfield and ARLENE.
HOSTA (22D: Plant that's an anagram of "oaths") A HOSTA is a shade-tolerant perennial with many varieties. I did not know what a HOSTA was until I moved to the Iowa City area. All over town I noticed similar-looking plants around the bases of trees. I learned they were called HOSTAs. They are popular because they thrive in the shade and because deer don't particularly like them. We currently have two varieties of HOSTAs growing in our yard.
ICE (24D: Crushed halo-halo ingredient) Halo-halo is the unofficial national dessert of the Philippines. The cold treat is made from crushed ICE and coconut milk or evaporated milk. Various ingredients, such as ube jam, garbanzo beans, or coconut strips may be added.
PETA (25D: Org. with a "Global Beauty Without Bunnies" program) PETA stands for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. Their "Beauty Without Bunnies" program is a certification the organization provides to beauty and cosmetic companies that do not do animal testing on their products.
TAMIA (30D: "A Nu Day" singer) TAMIA is a Canadian R&B artist. A Nu Day is her second studio album, released in 2000.

Pizza is one of my favorite foods, so you know I'm a fan of this theme. I also like that it took a bit of an extra step to piece together what the SPECIAL DELIVERY is, making for a nice "Aha!" moment. Thank you, Marc, for this excellent puzzle.

Selena Gomez's New Oreo Flavor: Review
This should not be a controversial statement: Oreos are the best store-bought cookies you can find on the shelves. The OG Oreo is a combination of creme and a chocolate cookie that is perfect for dunking in milk or just wolfing down a whole sleeve at lunchtime. If you disagree with me, I don't know what to tell you. Go outside and shake your fist in the air. The other thing I love about Oreos is their versatility. They've played around with the cookie and creme combo and, for the most part, have been very successful. I consider myself a bit of an Oreo Gourmand-o, so I have pretty strong opinions about all of their varieties. (I'll provide my official ranking at the end.) So when I heard that a new Selena Gomez-inspired Oreo was hitting the shelves on June 9, I simply had to try them. But not because of the Selena Gomez of it all. I have a confession to make: I'm…old. At least too old to have a frame of reference for Selena's Disney glory days. In fact, I hadn't even heard of her until the 2012 Harmony Korine movie Spring Breakers. I'm in this purely for my own snack-ucation. Starting off with the packaging, they look appealing. I am a little upset with the size of the package, though. Your standard Oreo package comes in at around 18 ounces, whereas these are about 11 ounces. And at my local Albertson's, both packages cost $5.49, meaning you're paying extra for the name on the front. It better be worth it, Selena! The package on the front says 'Selena's Chocolate & Cinnamon Creme Cookies,' and when you rip it open, you are blasted with that cinnamon smell. A lot of people online have been comparing the flavor to horchata, and, based on smell alone, I can see why. The cookies have the typical Oreo design on one side and six different, Selena-inspired designs on the opposite side. This includes an exclusive signature design that only comes in a certain number of packages, which, if you find it, will allow you to listen to a new Selena Gomez song by scanning it with your phone. What world do we live in? I bought two packages but did not find a signature cookie — and I don't care! Selena's music means nothing to me. I am only concerned with the taste of her cookie. Hey, you! Let's start with the cookie on its own, which is described as 'chocolate cinnamon-flavored.' If there's any cinnamon in the cookie at all, it's extremely light, and it's not as chocolaty as the normal cookie. Additionally, the texture of the cookie is a little softer than other Oreos I've had. That's not my style. Moving onto the creme center, we get an interesting curveball. There are two layers: a chocolate and cinnamon one, and a sweetened condensed milk one with cinnamon sugar. The sweetened condensed milk layer is the primary source of the horchata comparisons. The creme by itself is very milky sweet with a strong cinnamon aftertaste. The chocolate cinnamon layer may as well not be there. But what is really off-putting with the creme is the cinnamon sugar. It gives the center a grainy texture, which is not why I come to the Oreo time and again. Give me my crunch in the cookie, not the creme! The combination of cookie and creme on its own isn't my favorite. After eating two or three of them, the lingering taste in my mouth is a sickly sweetness with a little bit of spicy heat. I admit that dipping the cookie in milk does help cut down on the initial sweetness, but that doesn't help much — every cookie benefits from a milk bath. Overall, the Selena Gomez Oreo is not for me. I recently had a horchata, and it was delightful; the cinnamon was just enough, and the drink had the right amount of refreshing sweetness. These Oreos just go way too hard on all the flavors in the wrong direction. There's no way I could eat an entire package of these like I could other Oreo varieties. And that's the whole point of Oreos, isn't it? In the latest episode of Alex Cooper's Call Her Daddy podcast, the actress and television producer discussed the negativity she faced while starring in the hit show Sex and the City. "Discussions of my physical person (were the hardest)," Parker, 60, said. "Like, stuff that I couldn't change and wouldn't change and had never considered changing, or still even after hearing something that was like, 'What? Dairy Queen brings back fan-favorite Blizzard for a limited time. Here's when
A beloved Dairy Queen Blizzard treat is returning to menus in time for summer. Fans can get their first spoonfuls of the Oreo Dirt Pie Blizzard starting Friday, June 20, according to the Minnesota-based restaurant chain. The hand-spun treat is a digital exclusive, available to order online and on the DQ mobile app for a limited time. 'This playful summer classic features Oreo cookie pieces, gummy worms, and fudgy crumble blended with our world-famous vanilla soft serve,' Dairy Queen said in a June 16 news release. Pricing information wasn't immediately available. The treat will briefly join Dairy Queen's join summer Blizzard menu, which includes: S'mores Blizzard treatConfetti Cake Blizzard treatMixing Bowl Mashup Blizzard treat The Oreo Dirt Pie Blizzard will be available for a limited time, though the restaurant didn't say for how long.
